I don't. I don't think it's difficult to make pizza dough at all. You have to wait 4 to 9 hours to use store bought dough. That takes planning. Why not just plan the day before and make the dough and put it in the fridge?
What I've learned is how to make pizza without a stone. The two-part (bottom and top) method fixes this problem. This video should be renamed: "Make Perfect Pizza in Your Lousy Home Oven."
We're lucky to have a restaurant nearby... They have typical Quebec cuisine things like poutine, fries et al. Thet also do delivery pizza, it's american style pizza with all the usual toppings but you can also just show up there and buy fresh pizza dough take-out. It's on my way from work to home, so it's very convenient for us to just have me a few dough balls from the restaurant and get the toppings ready at home for an easy weeknight meal.
I really enjoy making pizzas for my family but I don’t always have time because of school but when I do , I always find one of your recipes and they’re always amazing. This is another idea I’m going to try one day 😁
Thank you for your kind words! 😊 While making pizza dough from scratch is wonderful, using store-bought dough can also lead to fantastic results! Enjoy the cooking journey! 🍕👨🍳
Love the video vincenzo love your content your a amazing TH-camr I love watching your videos they are the greatest and the best and the coolest the Pizza looks very yummy and tasty
Thank you so much! 🙏😊 I put a lot of effort into creating high-quality content. Glad you enjoyed it! Stay tuned for more delicious Italian recipes! 🇮🇹👨🍳
Thank you , My father used to make homemade pizzas every Saturday for us , He loved anchovies, mozzarella, mushrooms, fresh peppers onions, fresh tomatoes and would make me & my grandmother our favorite , mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and fresh basil out of our garden , never alot of sauce , as his good friend when he was in the Vietnam War, taught him real Italian pizza isn't made the way Americans make them . wonderful demonstration! When I don't have time to make my own dough I buy fresh dough balls from a local Italian shop/restaurant. They make it fresh daily and it only costs $4 Canadian for 600 gram ball.
Great job Vincenzo! As a Chef, may I kindly give you a suggestion that even World Champion Pizza Chef Johnny Di Francesco and even our friend Vito Iacopelli would concur! When removing pizza's from the oven, it's best to rest the searing hot pizza on a cooling rack for as little as even 30 seconds, this will ensure that the crust will release its steam which will help to keep the crust crunchy! I know many will refute that, but just ask Johnny or Vito and they will agree 100%. Saluti...😎
That also works when you make sausage bread! My upstairs neighbor has a super small oven, so I bake his pizzas for him. He finally caught on I was waiting at least 5-10 mins before I brought his pizza upstairs lol. But the crust was good, and now he knows my " secret" 😂
"cooling rack" I'm not a Chef at all:) So, what's that mean exactly? Like remove hot pizza pan from oven into my refrigerator for a minute or just sit it on a counter, or the freezer? Just curious. Thanks...
Heading to the store now to try to make your pistachio pesto, I might have to pick a pizza dough ball and try this tomorrow. It looks really easy! Thanks!
@vincenzosplate you helped me discover the beauty of making pizza my self friend, but I have a question. If an Italian had a friend that doesn't eat pork but they want bolognese what would they use
That sauce looks amazing. I finally perfected my dough but I still enjoyed the video. I'll try this someday for sure. Parchment tip: Cut the corners off.
Made it today. Pretty great, even with dough rising only 4 hrs and my gas oven not having bottom and upper separately. Still huge difference than the 30 min of rising, suggested on the dough package.
sounds like you still managed to whip up something pretty darn tasty. Sometimes it's all about making do with what you've got, right? I hope you'll continue to recreate my recipes. I'm sure you're going to enjoy every bit of it.
Vincenzo.....I made this following every instruction. Was so amazing, i made the mistake of walking away for 3 mins and burnt the crust unfortunately....can't wait to make another one and i will not, i promise, will not walk away. My housemate is not a fan of pizza however he loved this. Thankyou
I have a pizzeria on a 5 minutes walk from my house, so I never tried to make pizza myself, but this looks easy enough to do. And I can choose my own ingredients!
Absolutely, making pizza at home is not only fun but also allows you to customize it to your liking! 🍕😊 Give it a try, and you might discover a new passion!
We use the same technique mostly, with one difference I learned from you in a previous video. When we parbake the dough, I don't even put the sauce on yet. I just slide the crust only our stone in the over alone. You did this the last time you posted about made pizza in a home over, and it gives you great control. Also, I like to get any liquid I can off the pizza I can before the toppings go on. Every had a pepperoni pizza with a big pool of oil in the middle? It's sad. But if you pre sauté the pepperoni you can avoid that and get the pepperoni as done as you like. Can't do that with fresh mozz, but you you can put it in a towel and squeeze out a lot of the milk. I owe the quality of my pizza to you. Grazie.
Easy pizzy, ive been using store bought dough for years except I load my pizza with , sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers , ham, and if I have leftover meatballs, them also , 1 slice fills me up , I like your lighter version, look anyone can do this, great tip Vincenzo, rome new york
I looked at the Chefman Pizza Oven. Not enough heat on top. You are right. Two step gives you control without breaking the mozzarella. Thanks, Vincenzo.
Parcooking has been a game changer. I think this is the advantage of skillet / cast iron pizza, but I'm starting to do it in the oven as well. I'll definitely remember the trick about the mozzarella milk. If you have a stand mixer, I highly recommend trying to make pizza dough using it.
Glad you found the tips helpful! 🍕👨🍳 Parcooking and using a stand mixer can level up your pizza game. Keep experimenting and enjoy your delicious creations! 🎉🔥
when i make my pizza dough, i dont have a pizza oven, but sometimes i use a barbecue as it gets really hot like a pizza oven. i also use a normal oven as well sometimes
That's a great idea! Using a barbecue or a regular oven can still yield delicious results. Just make sure to get the oven as hot as possible for that crispy crust. 🍕🔥
How come your pizza dough didn't rise? My pizza dough rose right out of the top! I think I cracked open one side and let air in. My wife said the sauce was to dry and thin. So, when I pulled the pizza pie out, I added more sauce and then the toppings! NAILED IT!!!! Thank you Vincenzo! I am posting this on LinkedIn!
I made this pizza, very good taste but it didn't come out crunchy and it grew a lot. 🤷🏻♀️ I'll have to try a different dough. Really loved the fresh basil and fresh mozzarella on it.
I'm glad you enjoyed the flavors! Achieving the perfect pizza crust takes practice. Try adjusting dough hydration and baking temperature for that desired crunch. 🍕👨🍳
Don't have doughballs in supermarkets here, we can get pizzadough already rolled out.. But most of it really isn't that good at all. So I just make it myself or ask a pizza shop if they would sell some. Love this video, awesome tips and tricks for us that want to make homemade pizza, but don't have a pizza oven. (I do have a pizza stone, would recommend, they're not expensive) Although I am looking to get one, would love a video on how to choose the best one or maybe you rating which are best for home cooks 😁
Here in France we have doughs for tarts (desert or savory) & pizzas. They roll up. Ok for tarts, not as ok for pizza. It's not as messy of course than dough making. It's still a step up from frozen pizza + added ingredients, or most local pizzar. THIS is another level though.
Omg, thank you. I tried previous instructions for making the dough it just need a bit more yeast because I do not have the best flour quality available and could not emulate the conditions to the letter. But a store bought could do when I do not have the time. And a big thank you for the baking instructions!
Here in Germany, we have a few brands selling pizza dough but it always comes already rolled out and it pretty much turns into a cookie. For some time now, though, another brand emerged selling dough balls like yours and it was a game changer. I made it on my pizza stone like I would with my own dough and it turned out amazing. Definitely an alternative if I'm too lazy to make my own dough. I actually have one in my fridge right now for this weekend, I'm gonna give your method letting the dough rest outside a try and see if and how it changes the pizza.
Im Filipino But im Really inlove in Italian dishes right now🤣I actually started Making Italian spaghetti and i actually love it😍im Pure Filipino but when the first i saw your video and until now watching it I think im half Italian now 😍 thank you for introducing me To Italian dishes🥰
That's wonderful to hear! 🇮🇹🍝 Embrace the love for Italian cuisine, and I'm glad my recipes inspired you. Cooking knows no boundaries! Enjoy your Italian culinary journey! 😊👨🍳
hello Vincenzo, you have helped me so much with your recipes and techniques. I really really like my pasta now and enjoy to make new recipes from you. Can you please recommend a pizza stone from amazon Uk ? There are so many choices and i don't know the differences they have. I want to make pizza in the oven with pizza stone and baking paper like you did with the dough that you made with Johnny !!! Thank you so much
Delighted to hear that! 😄🍝 For a pizza stone, look for one with good heat retention and durability. Check customer reviews for insights. Happy pizza making! 🍕👨🍳
Believe it or not, I buy the fresh pizza dough at Walmart. 1 pound ball for about $1. To make it better, I let it cold proof overnight and then 3 hours out of the fridge.. It can make 4 small, 3 medium or 1 large personal pizza.
Hi , where in Walmart have you found the pizza balls ? I've found the bag of pizza mixture you make but not the wet balls ? My father used to make homemade pizzas every Saturday , I love making pizza for my granddaughters as I did for my children. God bless you Mrs josette Tharp Montgomery County, Texas 🙏
I love the video. Nice and great. In India where i live it is not so easy to get a store bought pizza as it is generally not preferred. It is much more easy to get pizza from domino's and pizza hut and it is suited to our palettes.
I used to do pizza kits on my work. They're rolled out dough on baking paper with a small bottle of passata. The dough was square, which is great in terms of space, and every kid could choose which toppings they would like, even pineapple (they went through a rough patch). But having said that, the dough was alway way too fresh/young and therefor very yeasty and sticky. Hence I prefer to make my own dough. Oké it takes a resting day but that's not really something to consider because it doesn't require you to stay and watch it. I put it on a pizza stone in my closed barbecue which is nothing fancy, I payed 80 Guilders for it 30 years ago and it has been out there in my garden ever since. Ordered a screw in top thermometer recently. What's your view on all those different outdoor pizza ovens?
👋 Homemade dough is the 🔑 to a perfect pizza! Outdoor pizza ovens are 👌 for that authentic taste, but you can create magic indoors too. Keep the passion alive! 🍕😄
Thanks 🙏 vizenzo for the alternative solution but in my humble opinion, either I have time and make a dough,or i make a crostino or a bruschetta with yesterdays bread😊❤ have a nice weekend 🎉🎉🎉
Ciao lina, many thanks to you! Of course I always prefer to make my pizza dough from scratch, but this is a great solution when you don't have enough time!
The only market near me with prepared pizza dough is an Italian market and it's pretty good. It doesn't come close to the slow rise dough I make but it's convenient and I use it for everything from actual pizzas to fried dough treats to cold cut sandwich rolls. I've even greased it up with extra olive oil and made unsatisfying focaccia. Hey, good dough takes time and sometimes, it's better to get it done. But unless you have a good pizza restaurant that delivers, you're better off with the prepared dough and making it at home.
Absolutely! 😄🍕 Prepared dough from a good Italian market can be versatile and convenient. Homemade is best, but when time is tight, it's a great option! 👌👨🍳
I made the dough following all instructions from the video "How to Make NEAPOLITAN PIZZA DOUGH for Beginners" and baked it according to this video in my normal kitchenoven. The pizza is very tasty but it is always very hard. What might i have done wrong?
Great video. If you where making several pizzas could you part cook them one at a time in a batch and then broil / grill them afterwards to serve? Or would that spoil the texture? Thanks
Your oven is huge! That means that you can bake my pizza 🍕 next to your pizza in your oven. I have now booked my flight to SYD to get my pizza. Are you ready for Freddy? Thank you very much, Vincenzo, for sharing your wonderful video with us.
Dear Vincenzo, I have two questions. What is the difference between the tomato sauce you are using and passata (could one use passata directly or does it need to be cooked?). Do you have any recommendations for white pizza - what kind of sauce do I put on it?
He is using crushed peeled tomatoes. That gives you not only a richier taste but also a more chunky sauce. You do not want your sauce to be too watery and thin or you will lose flavour and make the dough too wet.
Interesting. But since i saw the your video with johnny di francesco i prepare my dough one day before and it is always good pizza. I tried few things with the tomato sauce (always Italien Tomatoes) and tried different mozzarella. But since we got a big grill we make our pizza on the grill the higher temperatures gives the pizza +1 Level :D
Wow. After working at papa Gino’s as a kid (it’s a New England chain pizza and sub shop for those who haven’t heard of it) I had no idea how well they make their pizzas. It all fine semolina and dough balls just like you used. The sauce is really the only part that was premade with a shelf life. Everything else was very fresh. It’s so sad seeing them closing so many locations.
Don’t know why Cento pizza 🍕 sauce is not the GO TO sauce to use when you don’t have time to make your own!! I actually prefer their canned pizza sauce to some of the best pizza shops!! js
I really enjoyed watching your video... I have never made a homemade pizza or homemade pizza dough... Im making 2 pizzas today and im using pizza dough buddy already made pizza doughs...which were frozen when i got them so this morning early I took them out of bag they came in and placed them into a 1 gallon zip lock bag to thaw out for later on this evening... also it was interesting hearing about the mozzarella cheese as I did buy the shredded mozzarella and provolone mixture... 1 pizza is a white pizza im making with a white pizza sauce and ricotta cheese on it and the other is just a regular pepperoni cheese pizza... next time I will have to get the mozzarella cheese ball for sure... and everything i've researched said to use a bread flour or corn meal but no ones said what kind till your video so i'm def going to buy the Semolina double milled flour... also I am very curious to know what kind of Extra Virgin Olive Oil you use? I have tried every brand from store brands to whatever kinda brand was avail...the best available one i've found that I buy all the time is the Carapelli Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil.... thank you so much for sharing your recipe and for explaining it all step by step it has been a huge help thank you :^) have a blessed day...
Vincenzo.. you help me resolve the problem I kept having with my store-bought Bistro pizza always not coming out fully cooked on the bottom. I didn't realize there was a two-step process on cooking the underneath part of the dough and the second part using the broiler and cooking the ingredients separately I have a question when you cook it the first time do you keep it on Broiler or convection my oven has two options I understand I have to put it at 450° I'm in the US so it's set to Fahrenheit. You said you keep an eye on the crust when it's at the bottom of the oven to see if it's golden brown and cooked, but Can you please give me a little bit of idea how long do I have to cook the second time when I'm putting it at the top of the oven cooking the ingredients. Thank you for your help
Bravo! Whats the best way to prepare it after u take it out of the freezer ? Grazie mille
hello! Grazie mille, questa è proprio una ricetta per chi non ha tempo, perche come sappiamo fare la pizza impiega un bel po' di tempo! Puoi congelare l'impasto, dovrai farlo scongelare in frigo però
In my humble experience, the best pizza doughs are the ones where the yeast has more than a day or so to really develop nice flavors. Pizzerias achieve this by using one day's leftover dough as a starter to the following day's. Making from scratch at home an hour or two before cooking, it comes out bland. But making a day or two in advance, delicious. So frozen dough can make a lot of sense. There will have been time for that to happen, and for the gluten to really develop well. Then sauce and toppings, those can be really quick and easy.
I do this technique too, made hundreds of pizzas and were developing technique step by step..what I do I cook it in big cast iron pan, first (the bottom) on stove on max induction, and then uder broiler with sauce only, and then I add toppings. basil I put in sauce and mozzarella cheese I let to "piss" on paper towel to get rid of the "milk water"...result is: Crunchy yet soft dough with not burned toppings and puffed edges like crazy. I do love topping classsic (mozzarella only) or nduja or with tagiasche olives or lean pancetta thinly sliced with artichokes (my favorite). btw pizza dough I do myself using world's pizza master flour (le stagioni) amd I proove it in basement where is like 14° C, this way the proove is great overnight. The time that went into this was uncountable ale the cost but result is something that makes me happy all the time, and the most precious feeling that I get is thru food and satisfied tongue and belly. Greetings from Czech, many Italians are here and I always have to get to know them thru work (hotel) and talk about food, we learn together from each other. Italians teach me about your cusine wich I master in compare to other czechs and I teach them how to drink beer :D hehe love you! Btw come to Prague VINNIE! meet my in Hilton Prague, ud love our city and culinary experience!
I tried store bought pizza dough once. Working with it was like a cross between a sci-fi horror and a slapstick comedy! The dough simply crawled back into a ball regardless of what I did to try to stretch it out flat, as if it was annoyed with me for disturbing it! I am surprised that it didn't try to crawl away when my back was turned.
😂 Store-bought pizza dough can be a bit tricky sometimes! It's like it has a mind of its own. Homemade dough might be more cooperative for your pizza adventures. 🍕👨🍳😅🤣
My local supermarket started selling dough balls and “pizza kits”. Thank you for the tip to rest the dough for four hours. I’m guilty of taking the dough out of the fridge and immediately using it! Now I know better.
Have you thought about releasing a cookbook? I've been eating only your recepies for the past month, and I can honestly say I haven't even had the thought to make something else. If you do I'll be the first to place an order.
You're welcome! 🙌 It's a pleasure to share delicious Italian recipes with you. If you have any specific requests or questions, feel free to ask. Happy cooking! 🍝👨🍳
Oh, what an adventure! 🍕🔥 I'm glad your pizza turned out awesome despite the little mishap. Sometimes, great food comes with a memorable story. 😄👍👨🍳 Enjoy!
I can't believe I have just been taught how to use this pizza dough to make actual pizza. Lol i use the store dough for everything but pizza. Because its incredibly convenient. I never thought it would make a decent pizza.
Hi! Scamorza and provola are great choices for pizza. Shred or slice them, then layer on top of your pizza with other toppings. Melt to perfection! 🍕🧀😋
you actually don't need a recipe for Panino, you just need to choose a great bread roll and then buy all you favourite ingredients to make the best Panino eveer!
Thanks for the tip. I just made pizza with fresh mozzarella for the first time. MAN did it bleed after being in the oven for 9 minutes or so! And I really patted it down / pressed it with paper towels before putting it on the pizza. I’ll try your way next time 🫶
Do you buy pizza dough balls from the grocery store and which one do you like?
I don't. I don't think it's difficult to make pizza dough at all. You have to wait 4 to 9 hours to use store bought dough. That takes planning. Why not just plan the day before and make the dough and put it in the fridge?

This is literally tra*h
I use the store brand pizza dough a lot. It was a great way to teach my son and daughter the basics of pizza making
Great idea! Well done!
I really enjoy making pizzas for my family but I don’t always have time because of school but when I do , I always find one of your recipes and they’re always amazing. This is another idea I’m going to try one day 😁

Do you have any advice for ovens that don't have bottom heat? Just a side fan and a broiler on the top?
Yes. Put a stone on the bottom rack. Make sure the oven is preheated and the stone is hot before adding your pizza. On the rack above the stone.
Pan broiler method
Thank you! It’s a perfect recipe ! Delicious, thank you VINCENZO
Glad you like it! 🙏🏻

would brushing the crust with a little garlic olive oil during the 2nd part take it to the next level?? yum!
I was thinking the same thing
I would just leave it as it is, but if you want go and do it!
Here in France we have doughs for tarts (desert or savory) & pizzas. They roll up. Ok for tarts, not as ok for pizza. It's not as messy of course than dough making. It's still a step up from frozen pizza + added ingredients, or most local pizzar. THIS is another level though.
I understand. Homemade dough takes it to the next level! 🍕😄 Keep experimenting, and you'll have the perfect pizza in no time!
I bought pizza dough for the first time and then this came in my feed... Perfect!
My pizza turned out great, thanks for the vid.
Amazing timing! 😄🍕 Fate brought us together! Enjoy making your perfect pizza! Let me know how it turns out! 👨🍳👍
Omg, thank you. I tried previous instructions for making the dough it just need a bit more yeast because I do not have the best flour quality available and could not emulate the conditions to the letter. But a store bought could do when I do not have the time. And a big thank you for the baking instructions!
You're welcome! 😊👍 I'm glad the instructions helped you adapt the recipe. Whether homemade or store-bought, enjoy your delicious pizza! 🍕🇮🇹
Thank you so much for this recipe chef!!!!
You're welcome! 😄👨🍳 Happy cooking and enjoy the deliciousness! 🍕🔥
Thank you so much for this video! My pizza came out perfect ❤
I’ve never bought store dough before, I’m curious now.
Nice looking pizza Vincenzo, very nice.
😎👍🏻👍🏻🍕🍕🍕🍕
Thanks! 😄🍕 Store-bought dough can be surprisingly good and convenient. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out! 👍👨🍳
Im Filipino But im Really inlove in Italian dishes right now🤣I actually started Making Italian spaghetti and i actually love it😍im Pure Filipino but when the first i saw your video and until now watching it
I think im half Italian now 😍 thank you for introducing me To Italian dishes🥰
Looks good my dear friend thank you 😊🤗👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you! 😊👍 I appreciate your kind words and support. Enjoy the recipes on my channel! 🍝🇮🇹
My father used to make homemade pizzas every Saturday ,
I love making pizza for my granddaughters as I did for my children.
God bless you

Thanks for the tips! PIneapple is my favorite topping!!
Wonderful video! Did you NOT close the oven door when you put the pizza in under the broiler?
Thanks! 🙏 No, I left the oven door slightly open to prevent the broiler from turning off. It helps achieve that perfect crispy crust! 🍕🔥
This is an excellent idea! Both how to prepare the pizza dough and to put the basilica under the mozzarella!
I love the video. Nice and great. In India where i live it is not so easy to get a store bought pizza as it is generally not preferred. It is much more easy to get pizza from domino's and pizza hut and it is suited to our palettes.
Totally get it! 🍕🇮🇳 Sometimes convenience wins! But if you ever wanna try homemade pizza, I'm here to help! 😄👨🍳
Hi. That's looks amazing. Is the sauce just crushed Italian canned tomatoes? Do you add any basil or vinegar to it ?
Thank you very much! This is super helpful when kids demand pizza ASAP.
You're welcome! 😊🍕 I'm glad you found it helpful. Enjoy making delicious pizzas with your kids! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. 👨🍳
Soft & Crunchy as Vito says ! 🍕🌿🍅🧀
in the same time!! 😂😂😂
I never knew Coles sold rolled pizza dough. Im going to make this pizza later today. 😋 🍕
Thanks Vincenzo for this video.
You're welcome! 😄🍕 Enjoy your pizza-making adventure! Let me know how it turns out! Happy cooking! 👨🍳👍
@vincenzosplate I didn't get around to making the pizza on Sunday, but I'll definitely give your pizza recipe a try soon. 🍕
Enjoyed this video a lot Vincenzo! As a college student on a budget, I love seeing how I can make good italian food that I can afford.
Thank you! 😊 I'm thrilled you enjoyed the video. Italian food can be delicious and budget-friendly. Keep cooking and exploring Italian flavors! 🇮🇹👨🍳
You just helped me so much. Thank you very much, Sir
Glad to hear that! If you need anything else, please feel free to reach out.
Any advice for ovens that don’t have a broiler, just the bottom heating element and nothing else?
No broiler, no problem! To mimic broiling effects, place dish on the top rack. Crank the heat, watch closely 🔥👀. Achieve that golden finish!
250 Celsius = 482 Fahrenheit. Just round oven temp up to 500F make sure the pan you use can handle that heat level!
This was beautiful. I’m glad I watched this ❤
Thanks...I'm making my first pizza as I type this message. Thanks again for your video 😊
Great demonstration, Vincenzo! Did I understand correctly - dough sits out off the fridge during the waiting period?
Yes.
Absolutely! 😄👍 During the waiting period, the dough should rest at room temperature, covered with a damp cloth. Enjoy making your perfect pizza! 🍕👨🍳
Home Pizza Extremadura!! Thank you Vincenzo for precise instructions in video 🎉🎉 I will make too 🍷‼️
You're welcome! 😊 I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Have fun making your Home Pizza Extremadura! 🍕🇮🇹 Buon appetito!
I made the dough following all instructions from the video "How to Make NEAPOLITAN PIZZA DOUGH for Beginners" and baked it according to this video in my normal kitchenoven. The pizza is very tasty but it is always very hard. What might i have done wrong?
Thanks! This is perfect for me, living in a dorm where I don't have any scales or any other measuring devices and really don't wanna make a mess. 😁
You're welcome! 😊👍 I'm glad this recipe suits your dorm life. Keep cooking with passion and simplicity, and enjoy the delicious results! 🍝🍴
Very helpful video! Thanks for the tips.
That's awesome! 😄🍕 Ready for Freddy's pizza adventure! Can't wait to share the kitchen with you. Safe travels! 👨🍳🛫👍
Hey there, what if you're making 10+ pizza's, is there a way to raise the dough en masse? Or do they all need to be in containers?
When buying grocery store dough, where it;s maid fresh daily, how can I tell if it’s best for NY style or Neapolitan…amount of air pocket?
Dude. This was incredible advice. Especially using the Vincenzo basil sauce. What a pizza.
Dude, that's awesome to hear! 😄🍕 Enjoy your fantastic pizza creations! 🇮🇹👨🍳👍
Is this a fan or convection oven like so many in Europe but very few Americans have?
Dear Vincenzo, I have two questions. What is the difference between the tomato sauce you are using and passata (could one use passata directly or does it need to be cooked?). Do you have any recommendations for white pizza - what kind of sauce do I put on it?
He is using crushed peeled tomatoes. That gives you not only a richier taste but also a more chunky sauce. You do not want your sauce to be too watery and thin or you will lose flavour and make the dough too wet.
Great questions! 😄🍅 Passata is uncooked tomato puree, perfect for pizza. For white pizza, use a creamy sauce like ricotta mixture. Enjoy! 👨🍳👍
Confirming this worked just amazing!
Awesome pizza journey! 🍕😄 Grilling adds that special touch indeed! Keep experimenting and enjoying those delicious flavors! 🔥👨🍳👍
Great stuff for us home cooks! thanks
You're very welcome! 😄 I'm here to inspire and assist home cooks like you. Keep having fun in the kitchen! 🍳👨🍳🇮🇹
Awesome tip, I am going to make this for dinner tomorrow night. thanks
That's fantastic! 😊👍 I'm glad you found the tip helpful. Enjoy making the dish for dinner tomorrow night. Buon appetito! 🇮🇹🍝
That's interesting! Papa Gino's must have some good pizza-making techniques. It's always sad to see beloved places closing. 😔🍕
Papa Gino Has SOME AWESOME PIZZA! 🍕 They need to teach INEDIBLE Papa John’s how to make pizza!!😂😂😂
Don’t know why Cento pizza 🍕 sauce is not the GO TO sauce to use when you don’t have time to make your own!! I actually prefer their canned pizza sauce to some of the best pizza shops!! js
Yummm! I need more cheese, please! 😅😋 Thanks for sharing this!🍕
You got it! 🧀🍕 More cheese is always a good idea! 😋 Thanks for watching and enjoy the recipes! 🇮🇹👨🍳
Thanks I was wondering about using store bought dough.
This is Pizza cooking perfection, 😋 thank you!
Thank you so much! 😄🍕 Your appreciation means a lot. Happy cooking and enjoy your perfect pizza! 👨🍳👍
Looks Fantastic!!!!
This really tastes amazing, you should try 😋 yum
Wow, your pizza expertise is on another level! 🍕🔥 Impressive technique and toppings. If I'm in Prague, I'd love to meet up at Hilton! 😄🇨🇿🍻
You're welcome! 🍕 I'm glad the tip helped. Allowing the dough to rest makes a big difference in the final result. Happy cooking! 😄
Have you thought about releasing a cookbook? I've been eating only your recepies for the past month, and I can honestly say I haven't even had the thought to make something else. If you do I'll be the first to place an order.
Thank you for your amazing support! 🙏📚 I'm thrilled to hear you enjoy the recipes. A cookbook might be in the works! Stay tuned! 😊🍝
Thank you again Vincenzo 🙏❤
You're welcome! 🙌 It's a pleasure to share delicious Italian recipes with you. If you have any specific requests or questions, feel free to ask. Happy cooking! 🍝👨🍳
I just made this. I almost started fire with the paper under the broiler (I forgot to remove it). But the pizza was awesome!
Oh, what an adventure! 🍕🔥 I'm glad your pizza turned out awesome despite the little mishap. Sometimes, great food comes with a memorable story. 😄👍👨🍳 Enjoy!
I didn't know you could buy dough balls in the store. Gonna search today.
I can't believe I have just been taught how to use this pizza dough to make actual pizza. Lol i use the store dough for everything but pizza. Because its incredibly convenient. I never thought it would make a decent pizza.
Glad I could change your pizza game! 🍕😄 Homemade dough rocks, and it's worth the effort. Enjoy your delicious creations! 👨🍳🔥
Hi Vincenzo, what about using scarmoza and provola? I got some at home and am looking for more uses for them. How should I use them on a pizza?
Hi! Scamorza and provola are great choices for pizza. Shred or slice them, then layer on top of your pizza with other toppings. Melt to perfection! 🍕🧀😋
My best friend is italian and his father made us the best proscuito sandwich. There's no receipt on youtube please Vincenzo make one!
Proscuito Danielle, taleggio cheese a little mayo on fresh french bread. Tomato on the side with a glass of wine.
t. Italian in Texas.
you actually don't need a recipe for Panino, you just need to choose a great bread roll and then buy all you favourite ingredients to make the best Panino eveer!
this turned out really good thanks
You must cut the mozzarella the day befor, put it in a strainer let in run in to a bowl in the fridge. Then you have perfekt mozzarella for a pizza.
thank you for the tip my friend, sounds super smart!
@@vincenzosplate You welcome, love your videos. I make your CREAMY MUSHROOM RISOTTO, alle the time, my girlfriend LOVES it so so good.
Thanks for the tip. I just made pizza with fresh mozzarella for the first time. MAN did it bleed after being in the oven for 9 minutes or so! And I really patted it down / pressed it with paper towels before putting it on the pizza. I’ll try your way next time 🫶
