Praise God for that! Although, I have less and less these days… Turning 37 tomorrow and feel about 60 sometimes. Other times I feel 15 ;-) thank you for being here I hope you are subscribed
Thank you for your effort to provide good infos. I was wondering if there is any temporarily fix, I have that problem with my 2015 Prius and I can't afford to fix it at the moment .
That’s quite a ballpark. Just like battery gurus popped up in metros everywhere, there are prius folk offering this job as a side thing for around $800-1000 but watch my video on what happens inside. Often times it’s too late and the motor is done. Then $2300 for a motor and a day and change of labor to swap. Hope you’re subscribed!
Oh shoot Roy I’m sorry I wasn’t paying attention to the names, just responding on my phone waiting in a line ha ha. Of course I know you’re subscribed, you’re one of the most faithful! Thank you as always for being here
Could you tell me if you have a head gasket problem? Will it always do this death rattle. Can you have a head gasket?Problem in have either symptoms with no death rattle
I have the same issue had code P0302 & C2300 changed the ignition coil and spark plugs still gave me the death rattle and was loosing coolant but here is the thing I stopped using the ac and drive it gently and when i do hear the death rattle i release the gas and ease back in and now im not loosing coolant need to test this for longer trip to see if i loose coolant but might the ac just add to the overheating Or why is it only happening when I have the ac on ?
Isn't the headgasket a secondary symptom too? Won't the car keep blowing head gaskets? I was under the impression that if the HG is blown it will keep getting blown because the rings are damaged. They get damaged via poor oil change habits OR faulty water pump that leads to overheating. I would like to be wrong.
No not at all - there is a good chance something is warped, and a gasket alone won’t solve - watch me 4th video in the description. These head gaskets are failing because of the design. Video 4. Please subscribe !
Well I mean why wouldn't you at least preface it with the sound that is definitely and the one that just needs the cleaning? Your impression is the same on both ends so it's pretty hard to gauge exactly what you're saying
@@DrewGarage like I said from the start a better partnership would’ve been Mazda. They have a good sky active 4 banger and a new inline 6 that could’ve been used in the Supra. I think the Mazda tech would’ve been great to implement.
@@icecactus11 I actually love mazda! not a big fan of the 3.7 using a timing chain driven water pump but other than that, I like a lot of what they do!
Your impression of the cylinder making noise is funny to me this morning and I appreciate your video
Thank you for that :) I hope you’re subscribed! Check out my other prius vids!!!
I love your energy bro

Thanks Drew, good info. What is the cost to have a shop replace the head gasket?
