I'm sure it's been said more than once, but... This scene strikes me as somewhat more likely than the outcome in Jurassic Park 3. The tyrannosaur can generate more bite force by far, & spinosaurs were adapted to catching fish, not land-dwelling prey that sometimes fights back. The only way I could see a spinosaur winning is if the tyrannosaur made a wrong move & the spinosaur takes advantage...but it's still a long shot. Primal Carnage has great animation, though.
Rewatching this fight made me realize that the Primal Carnage Tyrannosaurus not only destroyed that Spinosaurus, it probably wasn't even trying all that hard. Tanked the initial bites from the Spinosaurus and shrugged it off easily, stunned the Spino with a headbutt, grabbed the neck and pinned it to the ground and instakilled in with one bite. And it still looked like it had a lot of energy left to spare.
@@gojifan923 lol you can the same for the jp 3 fight, that spinos neck should have been crushed once the rex got its mouth around it. So hollywood just made that fight for the spino to win. Plus the spino wasnt even accurate lol

How convenient, this epic godly battle between two prehistoric powerhouses conveniently happens on a rainy thunderstorm day. Imagine if it was happening during a nice bright summer day with nice fluffy clouds and a nice playful piano piece in the background.
In fact trex jaw bite is built to kill n crushed bone while spino jaw is built for hunting fishing ..that mean if trex get any neck of dinosaur that mean dead for the dinosaur So trex is truly win the battle 💪💪💪
Facts i only hated rex because they were hating on the spinosaurus and there were alot and spinosaurus was my favorite dinosaur they are hating over a movie
@ViperDasher209 but what hurts me the most is that Spino could have done better in the fight if he didn't roar during the fight. Roaring before a fight is ok, but roaring when the T. Rex's jaw was just a hair's breadth away from your face is just asking for trouble.
Tyrannosaurus Rex, the largest terrestrial predator in the history of the earth, recently a specimen nicknamed Cope was estimated at 13.2 meters and up to 12 tons in weight. In 2021, an analysis was done on the bite force and they estimated that a specimen like Sue could bite with up to 9 tons of pressure. Not to mention that Sue is at least almost 2 tons lighter than Cope and Bertha seems to be much bigger than COPE. The T-rex was simply built differently than any other theropod, or animal similar to its size, for some reason it hunted, Ankylosaurus, Hadrosaurus and Triceratops, the smallest of these was an 8-ton mini tank, nothing similar in size to a T-rex was safe from this animal, simply the most powerful land predator in history.
Basically the way I see it is jaws vs claws. Tyrannosaurus has the entire advantage with the jaw power. Spinosaurus has a definite advantage with those huge claws. They both were smarter than average. BUT there is one MAJOR flaw that would most likely be a deciding factor at least 20% of the time. It's Spinosaurus' own anatomy. It's own spine is a hazard. If it falls, the back will snap. Honestly, both can fuck each other up so basically it boils down to who can get that first strike.
Spino now was proven to be quadruped(all evidence points to it) so it couldn't have used its claws. And even if it could, its claws weren't for hitting, they were for grabbing fish and they were blunt.
TheGamingDinosaur His claws weren't for holding fish his teeth were. Spino can actually go on his back feet and then claw the T.Rex. But he can only stand on two feet for a short time. Spino also can't walk on two feet but he can stand on them. But he won't have too good balance. Spinosaurus does have a less strong bite force then T.Rex but his bite force actually is pretty strong.
As for _Tyrannosaurus_, I feel like there shouldn’t be much to say, but that may not be the case given the pervasiveness of _Jurassic Park_’s version and just the general mythos surrounding its public image. We know that _Tyrannosaurus_ grew to a total length of around 40 feet, stood some 12 feet high, and most modern estimates place it somewhere in the range of 5-7 tons. Its skull was large and robust with massive teeth (that were probably covered with lips) but not at all as wide and boxy as most popular images show. In fact, the _Jurassic Park_ version has an entirely incorrect skull shape; there’s no way you can superimpose an actual _Tyrannosaurus_ skull onto the movie version and have them successfully match up. Even with the thinner snout, yes, _Tyrannosaurus_ did have a massive bite, which by the way was probably not particularly septic. (The entire notion of a “septic bite” doesn't make much sense for various reasons. For one, any animal’s bite is potentially infectious depending on their oral hygiene and the severity of the bite itself. Furthermore, the living analogy upon which it is based, the Komodo dragon, doesn’t actually have toxic bacteria growing in its mouth. Though they - like all other monitor lizards - do have venom of unknown potency, studies of captive Komodo dragons show that their mouths are fairly clean, and their teeth do not accumulate rotting meat. In fact, Komodo dragons seem to have behaviors that promote good oral hygiene. Thus, the bacterial infections that are commonly attributed to death in prey like water buffalo are probably a result of the buffalo fleeing into mud and standing water, which are breeding grounds for infectious pathogens that enter the deep wounds left by the lizards’ teeth, turning them septic. However, if the bite is severe enough, the buffalo could very just die from shock and blood loss.) However, let’s not get too caught up on bite strength, as that isn’t necessarily an effective metric of anything; it’s not as if the animal was a better killer or fighter simply because it could bite hard, and just because it could do so doesn’t mean that it always did, particularly since it wasn’t always doing battle with other dinosaurs. As far as hunting goes, the eyes were quite forward facing, and contrary to the film-inspired trope, it was not in fact reliant upon movement to actually track prey visually; studies of its skull and brain cavity have shown that it could see, as well has hear and smell, quite well. Various studies on _Tyrannosaurus_ locomotion indicate that while it was more adapted toward cursoriality than other giant theropod carnivores, a fully grown animal still would’ve moved at about 10-15 mph tops. Moreover, adults at least probably couldn’t technically run; their large size would’ve made them too heavy to achieve an airborne phase where no feet touched the ground, so their quickest pace was probably more like a power walk. They wouldn’t have been particularly maneuverable; an interesting study showed that even at walking speed it still would’ve taken them roughly 1-2 seconds to complete a 45-degree turn. (Now of course, most of this applies solely to adult individuals; adolescents and juveniles were quite different, but that’s somewhat irrelevant here.) Given all of this, adult _Tyrannosaurus_ were clearly ambush predators. There’s plenty of evidence to indicate that they were attacking living prey, particularly large, slower targets like hadrosaurs and ceratopsians; healed vertebrae on _Anatosaurus_ tails and broken horns and healed toothmarks on _Triceratops_ frills indicate violent interactions. However - and this is important - we cannot say in the latter case which animal was actually the aggressor. Clearly the _Triceratops_ somehow survived the encounter and lived long enough for its wounds to heal over, but it could very well be that the _Tyrannosaurus_ was attacking its young - which would’ve been large enough to prey on but substantially easier to catch and kill - or was just passing by and happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Point being, _Tyrannosaurus_ was by no means invincible. Finally, just to sort of dismantle the pop culture image - which I’m calling T-rex - we have to understand it as just another animal. Despite the name of “tyrant lizard king” and the undeniably impressive physical attributes, at the end of the day, _Tyrannosaurus_ was just another animal. The notions of supremacy and “king of the dinosaurs” are purely our own anthropomorphic projections onto a creature that, like every other predator before and since, was just another species that tried to get through its days as best it could, perpetually struggling to live long enough to pass its genes into the next generation. Being an apex predator does not mean attacking anything and everything with reckless abandon; those are the things that will easily get you severely injured or killed. And yes, it almost certainly had feathers. In fact, there is an unpublished specimen of the underside of the chest region of _Tyrannosaurus_ that appears to show not scales, but skin that resembles an elephant or a “plucked chicken.” Even without the impressions, phylogenetic inferencing heavily leans in favor of all tyrannosaurs being feathered to some extent, and retaining those feathers throughout its life. Based on all the evidence, this is a modern, accurate image of _Tyrannosaurus rex_: www.deviantart.com/art/Tyrannosaurus-rex-2016-621240680 Now, my point here isn’t to argue which dinosaur would actually win in a fight to the death, in part because it’s so difficult to picture a scenario in which these animals would actually have reason to come into direct conflict, and also because in natural settings, evenly-matched predators almost never actually fight to the death. If it comes to a physical altercation, whichever animal lays the first, more convincing blow will probably succeed in forcing the other to retreat, and once one combatant pulls back, very rarely does the victorious animal actually pursue it and go for the kill; the point has already been made, and there’s no need to re-engage and risk further injury. If either animal actually dies from the encounter, it’s usually something that occurs after the fact; they typically suffer some debilitating injury that severely reduces their ability to hunt and so they end up ultimately starving to death. Given this, I will venture so far as to postulate that regardless of the environment the encounter takes place, as long as it could stand, _Spinosaurus_ would probably be capable of delivering such an injury and ending the fight by forcing the _Tyrannosaurus_ to back off. In turn, as long as the fight stayed more or less on dry land, _Tyrannosaurus_ would also be capable of severely injuring its hypothetical opponent or even killing it on the spot, although the latter is quite unlikely and the chances of severe injury would be much too great. Like I said, all I really wanted to do is to present both animals as we currently understand them, so that everybody can at least base their to-the-death scenarios off of accurate information.

The spino has a huge weakness, its spine Its specialty is Breathing under water T rex weakness, unable to breath under watre Strength One hella strong bite force But for some odd reason i saw the tricaratops has a stronger bite force@-@
T-Rex: Hey, look! A shooting star! Make a wish! Raptor: I wish I was dead. T-rex: Lmao so true Raptor: T-Rex: Raptor: *That shooting star looks kinda close, doesn’t it?*
Well I will tell you these dinosaurs strengths and weaknesses. Spinosaurus- Strength: Spinosaurus has bigger and longer arms. Weakness: Very small teeth, usually only for fish. The spine on it also is its back bone, so it would definitely break it's back if the spine got very hurt. Tyrannosaurs- Strength: Bigger teeth then a Spinosaurus and stronger body, these would be great for hunting. Weakness: Very small arms, so if it tries to escape a river or sea, it has a high chance of drowning. Here they are. So Tyrannosaurus probably would have the upper hand.
Isaiah Chavez A Tyrannosaurus Rex has the jaw strength to crush bone, just one bite at the neck would be the end of nearly any dinosaur, Spinosaurus included.
Devon R What defeats the purpose of this fight, spino was mostly hunting fish in water, so clearly it had no intention of fighting larger animals on land, but stayed in water and near water, even if they were on the same time period they would never meet. Adding the fact T-Rex had no intention of going near water, it roamed the lands, so the 2 cancel each other out because it was never after fish. I would vouch for a Rex on land, on the other hand I vouch for spino in water if Rex came near water, both on land? the Rex wins every time, because to take on a predator at their own game, there is only one winner. The Rex was built for that type of environment and it was built to fight, like a boxer a middleweight could not fight with a heavyweight. Its like expecting a crocodile to fight a tiger on land, you cannot take on a predator in its comfort zone, nature will fuck them up that is why they never meet or in the same time period. That is what makes Jurassic 3 stupid, they tried turning a spino into a T-Rex, atleast with the indominus Rex it was a T-rex mixed with other shit so you could buy it. Same with a tiger never used the open pride lands, so a lion and a tiger would never meet. If a tiger took on a lion at the lions game, the lion would ruin a tiger same the other way round, that is how nature works. Look at sports teams, if a team tries to play one team at their game, there is only one winner, teams got to find a different approach, or they lose.
I can't believe I havent found this game yet, going to buy it right now. as for spino fan boys plz just accept that JP3 is not real and that spino would lose
Spinosaurus is known from several poor specimens. Improvement of the precision of size estimates for Spinosaurus requires the discovery of more complete remains as available for some other dinosaurs, especially the limb bones of Spinosaurus which are "hitherto unknown". Spinosaurus locomotion method on land is uncertain. Plausible theories include a Bipedal Gait with an S-Curved neck similiar to a Swan or a Pelican; or a more erect bipedal gait similiar to most theropods and lastly a quadrupedal gait; althrough its purely a speculation. Spino had extreamly powerful competitors like Sarcosuchus, Carcharodontosaurus, Bahariasaurus, etc giving it a little more experience than most large predators. It's even predicted Spino had to constantly defend it's territory from Sarco. Scientist postulated that Spinosaurus Switched its living/hunting Territory between terrestrial and aquatic habitats to compete for food with large crocodilians and other large theropods. This strongly suggests that the Spinosaurus had a more amphibious (lives both land and water) lifestyle rather than a fully aquatic lifestyle. Recent studies have determined that all Spinosaurids were amphibious animals, but still, they were bipedal animals; and more likely had generalist diet rather than an entirely piscivorous diet. Spino also had mighty 5 foot arms with 25-30cm fingers armed with 15-20cm claws that could cause severe damage to anything those claws came into contact with. In Scott Hartman's spino skeletal restoration he argued that Spinos legs aren't as short as we believe for many reasons. They are still short but not ridiculously short. It's a much more normal look for such a large Theropod. There's a very high chance that they are either equals or that spino would dominate in a fight
@@remanip.k461 Eh... No. The Spinosaurus was larger than the T-rex, had the ability to operate perfectly fine in water, something the T-rex didn't have, and over all, has a far stronger bite, as it typically hunted large, slippery fish. This fight should've been over when the Spino went for the T-rex's throat. But I digress.
Actually, it is true, it is not the size that is matter..... it is the Ferocity, the T-Rex is more agressive, than the Spinosaur, but the Spinosaur is bigger...
The Tyrannosaur, if I'm not mistaken, retains the most powerful jaws of any mammal in existence. Yes. I believe this big, angry, hungry dinosaur would be able to dispatch what is, essentially, a massive crocodile. I could be wrong, but good god, dinosaurs are incredibly enthralling!

For the spino fanboys to make your feel better.... The spino or T-rex looked a bit smaller than usually maybe there not fully developed yet so spino hasn't practice on other enemies yet
Always hated how jurassic park 3 made the Spino own the T Rex and while I don't think the T Rex would win as easily as he did in this video I think he would have still won and not like in JP 3
Even the bull trex ( who was short compared to any other trex ) was ragdolling spino for the majority of the fight and only lost because of dispositioning
This is unrealistic because spinosaurus did not use its massive 7 foot long arms and 15 inch claws. It mine as well have not had them. T-rex still had a good chanve, but if it takes a 15 inch claw in the skull it could very well lose.
CPMC You're an idiot who doesnt do research. Spinosaurus had some of the most powerful arms and biggest claws of any theropod. 7ft arms and 15 inch claws are small to you? shut the fuck up and get the fuck out.
In a real situation where two massive dangerous predators meet, they would keep their distance from each other unless absolutely desperate. Even if one was strong enough to kill the other, the amount of damage they can both cause would probably end up with both of them dying either from blood-loss or infection.
Well the T-Rex has a Terrifying bite that can crush a car Spinosaurus Jaw is way to weak only to eat fish and soft meat so being Realistic a T-Rex can crush Spinosaurus's neck but the Spinosaurus has Big claws as an advantage
@@mimicproduction3814 tell me why exactly. In the open mainland the t-rex would've won because of a more physical strength and jaw strength, the t-rex's heavy bulk body needs to be carried around by two long strong legs and have no other footing support, therefore that's why the center gravity of the t-rex is terrible if it falls it's gonna need a good position to stand and supported by it's head for for extra availbility of standing, however the spino could've just catch it's body with it's stronger and bigger, sharper claws in case it's pushed. Not many t-rex have an experience to fight other theropods mostly they fought massive herbivores like ankylosaurus, triceratops, and etc. There are some but not all like the spinos that fought charcarodontosauruses plus the speed that the spino had from it's neck could help a lot to bite the t-rex's leg just like any other crocodile when hunting biting and gripping it and won't let go unti the maiming is fully effected and incapable of moving, this time using the basic spino hunting instinct just like how it would hunt a fish plus the experience they had when fighting other theropods. But this strategy only works very good when the spino is inside or near a lake or a river to drag the t-rex and drown it besides it needs two legs to swim. But if the fight on an open mainland there's no water to drown the t-rex, it has a much better chance.
@@valianderkolom3153 bro a experience t rex going against an experience spino t rex would win if t rex just bite the spino it can conflict serious damage and if the rex get hold of the spine then spino will go crazy since its spine has broken so spino should ran off and probably die afterwards
@@mimicproduction3814 "IF t rex just bite" that is if not the t-rex's leg got bitten and maimed by the spino after it gets bitten and maimed before it died or catch the leg with it's jaw and slashed by the arms. But on an open, plain, and main field what you said is deadly accurate. About spino running off you know that's quite quaint because just like a crocodile smart to fight, but not have a very good survival instinct so it won't run and keep fighting until it got killed by the t-rex. The clash of these two are very desperate and a true indecidable but the chances goes way more to the t-rex on an open mainland, but it could be quite different if the t-rex fought it near a lake or a river but still the odds goes much more to the spino
@@sinisterking6009 we’ve known for over a year now… it had short legs like a pelican… it may have fed at water’s edge like a stork. It had a tail like a crocodile and it swam like one.
@@AliAli00063 The fact is that he had a much higher bite force than the spino😂 in Jurrasic park he apparently didn't have that otherwise he would have killed spino with the one bite in the neck you spinofanboy. It is also a fact that the Spino was longer than the Trex, but according to the latest model of the Spino, the Trex was 1-2 m taller (head height) which is a bigger advantage in a fight than length. In addition, the Spinosaurus body was long but very slim, thin and not muscular. The other things like better senses and more hunting or fighting experience are also correct according to what we know about the two today. So what are you talking about here about JP. The creations in these films could almost be called imaginary creatures because they are so inaccurate in addition the spino from the 3 film is also much more unrealistic than the Trex compared to today's knowledge about their appearance.

HellBeast yeah

Fucking fight over spino vs trex..
Hellbeast How i see it is weak neck vs weak spine.

Based on all the evidence, this is a modern, accurate image of _Tyrannosaurus rex_: www.deviantart.com/art/Tyrannosaurus-rex-2016-621240680
Now, my point here isn’t to argue which dinosaur would actually win in a fight to the death, in part because it’s so difficult to picture a scenario in which these animals would actually have reason to come into direct conflict, and also because in natural settings, evenly-matched predators almost never actually fight to the death. Like I said, all I really wanted to do is to present both animals as we currently understand them, so that everybody can at least base their to-the-death scenarios off of accurate information.
holy crap, i cant read all of that!
THANK YOU!!

Well I will tell you these dinosaurs strengths and weaknesses.
Spinosaurus-
Strength: Spinosaurus has bigger and longer arms.
Weakness: Very small teeth, usually only for fish. The spine on it also is its back bone, so it would definitely break it's back if the spine got very hurt.
Tyrannosaurs-
Strength: Bigger teeth then a Spinosaurus and stronger body, these would be great for hunting.
Weakness: Very small arms, so if it tries to escape a river or sea, it has a high chance of drowning.
Here they are. So Tyrannosaurus probably would have the upper hand.
And that also means if they were fighting in water, Spinosaurus would TOTALLY win.
Isaiah Chavez A Tyrannosaurus Rex has the jaw strength to crush bone, just one bite at the neck would be the end of nearly any dinosaur, Spinosaurus included.
Forgot to mention that is has a larger jaws than the Spino's crocodilian mouth.
Devon R
What defeats the purpose of this fight, spino was mostly hunting fish in water, so clearly it had no intention of fighting larger animals on land, but stayed in water and near water, even if they were on the same time period they would never meet.
Well your correct guys. I know I know, I forget some stuff, but yeah.

In a real situation where two massive dangerous predators meet, they would keep their distance from each other unless absolutely desperate. I don't think the T Rex would have any sort of danger whatsoever in this slaughter this comment section calls "a fight"

Well the T-Rex has a Terrifying bite that can crush a car
Spinosaurus Jaw is way to weak only to eat fish and soft meat so being Realistic a T-Rex can crush Spinosaurus's neck but the Spinosaurus has Big claws as an advantage
why are you writing this in 2020 coz new discovery shows spino have no advantage against rex

Lets be real, this is better than jp3 rex vs spino
Ye but it depend on the terrain there fighting when land t rex win but on water spino wins
@@SpinoGamer69 thats a obvious thing. But normally the fight would be on land
@@SpinoGamer69 and the t rex would slam almost most of the time
@user-rw7tk4ew4j meanwhile if its giga vs spino, giga would also crush spino on land
Technically that wasn't a bona fide Spinosaurus, but a genetic monstrosity so utterly unstoppable that InGen, following the breach caused by the typhoon, fucking abandoned Sorna because it was simply too dangerous to try and contain the Spinosaurus
Spinosaurus: "Twice I've beaten you for no chance."
T-rex: "It may be, but times are changing, I am the King."
Every second I look at the t rex I think “Devil Dinosaur!”
I think: Kasai Rex
Chal hat
Ah yes, a man of Marvel culture.
@Ender Gaming
Big dino didn't even insult your favourite dinosaur
@Ender Gaming fuck you fanboy
I'm a fan of the Spinosaurus and I knew that he would lose :')
Coke Lover Finally Someone that is positive on both sides
Well Mr. Spino didn't lose at jurassic park 3
I know
It’s not even spino form jp3 it his mental little brother
@@bradycat7682 I am talking about the spinosaurus from jp3
Now this is historically accurate
No it’s not
They didn’t live at the same time and a spino could easily kill the Rex to
@@Alluucard bro here why the Rex could win has a stronger bite force bigger teeth tougher skin faster a spinos made for killing fish and small Dino's teeth are smaller and has a skinny mouth
@@Alluucard go ask a paleontologist or go to a museum get better at knowing your dinosaurs
@@Alluucard even though they didn't live at the same time spino Would be Humiliated by the T-Rex
Spino has non Strong Jaw if The T-Rex catches the Spinosaurus with it's Jaw than it's R.I.P to the Spinosaurus
This brings me back to when i was young
