there was something familiar with this video as i was watching it...and when i saw the crew during the dinner service i realised that i was among the crew on that flight though i was working in business class...thanx so much for such a wonderful review on kenya airways..
Awesome video, Gavin!! (Been a long time since I checked back!) Love the tour of Nairobi Airport. Also its very cool that those headsets and the options on the entertainment screen is free of charge! Man the Boeing 787 rocks!! I have to fly it one day! I don't know if its your camera or it's actual reality, but those engines are VERY quiet!! Its like you're still on the ground when yet you're in the air!
+DeltaEagle7700 hey Falcon! Thank you so much for checking back! The Dreamliner indeed has a very quiet cabin - really the mark of an ultramodern airliner! Happy you enjoyed this review, pal!
Anything I see about Kenya I give a like. i don't know wether I'm racist, I have tasted flight and feel like wow, I'm waiting again flinging back to mama land Kenya.
I did travel to Dubai last year with KQ the experience was awesome still nolstagic about it when I see this video anyway yet to travel the world and the service was excellent but had jetlag for 3 days when in Dubai since couldn;t sleep sat next to the engine daaaamn felt like I was sleeping in a generator room .....I would love to do travel the world AGAIN...JUST LOVE TRAVELLING...CHEERS KENYA AIRWAYS
Hey Gavin....Nice Report Man !!! I had seen very first time of any commercial carrier of Africa...Kenya Airways seems very charming in all the way...but why i feels it was the bumpy ride all over the route...But again very well covered...Cheers !!!
+Tiago Zandro Yeah, indeed JKIA has a very nice terminal with amble seating and plenty of duty-free shops. Lavatory facilities are excellent too! A comfortable terminal indeed!
BRAVO!! Finally, an unlikely flight for many of us which is presented exactly as we'd experience it. Excellent job!! However, the bit with Bear Grylls (whatev) I cannot unsee and it was ridiculous like everything else he does. Ewww. But the flight was impeccable.
Most welcome! I love travel vids (been grounded a while) so I incessantly watch them and am regularly disappointed. Usually too much "face" time or "me" time or "stupid chat". We don't tune in for that. But I surely do for realistic accounts for common travelers.
It's so good and nice that I wished to travel from Africa KENYA to another country and that's what happened even though I'm scared of heights 😌 😬 now living in Bahrain ❤️🇧🇭🇰🇪💯. God plans every journey and fulfils it from a sincere heart. Always stay positive.😇
This prove that Kenya Airways is the best African Airliner. Operating from a new Airport in Nairobi its hub to the rest of Africa and the world. Flying modern fleet Boeng 787-8, 777-300 ER, 737-900, 737-800 and Embraer 190. Mandarin speaking Crew and all African Nations crew based in Nairobi. While other African carrier still fly 767, 757 with only one nationality crew set up.
Thanks Brother Govedi. Actually, 767s still in production & are quite versatile and a very able plane. 787s & A350s are very beautiful planes overall in my view. Proudly Kenyan in the US diaspora
I flew on this aircraft from Nairobi to London and I'm sorry, but I did not enjoy the flight. There is literally no leg room in the economy cabin and you cannot really be comfortable sitting in such a cramped position for nine hours. I've flown KQ several times, on the 767 and the 777 and I enjoyed all those flights. In fact on the day I flew on the 787, I had just arrived in Nairobi on a four-hour KQ flight from Abuja, to connect with the flight to London. The flight from Abuja was on an Embraer 190 and even that plane provided me with a more comfortable ride than the Dreamliner did. I did not enjoy my experience on the 787.
Anengiyefa A lol next time pay for a business class ticket so as you get more legroom. you get the valeu of your money. you pay for economy you sit in economy.
You can stretch out your legs fully in the roomier A350 economy class cabin. On this wonderful and very comfortable aeroplane, you do not need a business class ticket just to be able to sit comfortably. The 787 was a disappointment and I will avoid it if I can. I found that even the KQ 767 workhorse gave me a more relaxing and comfortable ride to Paris from Nairobi in the days gone by.
Anengiyefa A i think the airbus is bigger. However am not sure. But if you'd like more leg room it is advised you book a business class ticket. I know it more costly but the extra cost comes with the extra leg room.

sellah orito amen
Rahisi ingia biz let it grow then let it buy you a ticket to restock or sample new products. Naweka bidii niende Shenzhen China.
My dear it is not as interesting as you think because you may never have peace until the plane touches the ground.
I believe you have now boarded an aeroplane dearie.
Yay! A flight review outside of Asia! (Not that they're bad or anything, it's just nice to have a change once in a while!)
the seat on kq's dreamliner looks nice. great video again. thanks for sharing especially KQ's service.
👉🇰🇪 - That looked like a Very Quiet flight with that Big Plane KQ310.
4 1/2 hours from Nairobi to Dubai? I thought it would be longer. 🇨🇦🇰🇪
Great review Gavin! The mood lighting was stunning.
+FlyCruise Singapore thank you for watching. glad you enjoyed it

+Tiago Zandro Yeah, indeed JKIA has a very nice terminal with amble seating and plenty of duty-free shops. Lavatory facilities are excellent too! A comfortable terminal indeed!

I agree about the Bear Grylls bit. Could have done without it. It has nothing to do with the flight. Except to make me want to use the bathroom, lol.
Cool
is this the boing 737-800?
Avion cool
i already travelled in kenya airways its cool

Im african american my parents are from kenya. I have a dream to fly their ERJ, 737MAX, and their Dreamliner
Lenny Wallace 737 max????🙆🏾♂️🙆🏾♂️🙆🏾♂️🙆🏾♂️🙆🏾♂️
@@reubentv2948 KQ never purchased any 737 Max planes. KQ has mostly 787 Dreamliners, 737-800s, Embraer E190 and 170s in its fleet
Big up Gavin
+nelson masonkole thank you for watching! Have a great day : )
Woow
by the end of the decade i bet we will see dreamliners and A350's all over the place
+covoflyingace that is likely.... as did the Boeing 737-800s once were a novelty!
when 747's came around decades ago. they were virtually left and right at every major airport.
Kenya airways or Ethiopian Airlines
Food and Travel It literally says it in the title
i like the fact that there are male flight attendants
2 can of cola would be enough for the flight, hehehe:))
The food...something needs to be done about the food!

WHAT AN EXPERIRNCE TERRIFIC
I'm happy that you have enjoyed this Kenya Airways experience! Cheers! - FlightTravels

Anengiyefa A that's because that's an airbus. This is a Boeing. You clearly don't travel enough to know that an airbus is bigger than a Boeing.
Anengiyefa A i think the airbus is bigger. However am not sure. But if you'd like more leg room it is advised you book a business class ticket. I know it more costly but the extra cost comes with the extra leg room.
well done kenya airways pride of africa
