News hub?.........i stopped watching TV and the news a 30 years ago,.......but have just started watching the platform this year, so far so good, just don't go woke and stay unbiased and just bring the facts as best posable.
Possibly will fail...not enough Investigative reporters these days...but so far it's worth listening to ...

@@runforrestrun1965. To be fair, the captions are computer generated and unless the speaker uses perfect diction, which most of us do not, the computer get confused. OTOH, headlines and opening blurbs are written by a person and in many cases it is obvious that the barely literate work experience kid is the one doing it.
It is a different world. Last time I watched the 6pm news on TV was about 6 years ago when I arrived back in NZ. It was full of bias, opinion, and propaganda that favoured the government of the day.
The media bias shows in subtle ways, from the topic of the story, the angle of the story, the story headline, through to the tone and attitude of the presenter.
Their behaviours are obviously different, depending on which side of the topic (or politics) the presenter believes the person they are interviewing is on. Nice if they think you agree with them, and aggressive if they think you do not agree with them.
Most egregious, is the way in which the media do not report the full story. They only report the part of the story that supports their world view and narrative.
Report the facts without fear or favour. Report the full story. Keep bias and opinion out of it. Just give us the news and let us form our own opinions.
