During my military service while on the firing range, we were given five rounds to fire in 'our own pace". While everyone else fired single rounds because it is possible with a little trigger control (and was expected by the LT in charge), I of course spent all rounds in auto.

      😂 You chose fun!

@ Of course. "Own pace" meant auto for me. You only do your service one time 😄

@ Maybe they changed their order to "five rounds, own pace, SINGLE ROUNDS, fire!" after my liberal interpretation 😄

@ After many years I found out that one of my colleagues during his service got to fire the MG42 in some kind of general weapon knowledge training. He showed me a picture where he's posing with the buzzsaw. Didn't even know they had some in their stash.

@@VNAV_PTH at least the Swedish military uses them in caliber 7.62x51 on the tanks.

Greetings from Arkansas USA, found you thru Serbu. You have a beautiful range there in Sweden, I was wondering since they would be protected in the trench if shooters are allowed to pull and score targets while others are shooting on that range? Also you probably know this but the Swedish K has legendary status in the US because of it's use by Special Forces and others in Viet Nam and before the MP5 got so available I've know some Law Enforcement Officers using it.

Hello and welcome to my channel. Yes, the trench is there for helping to score points when competing. We use a spade, basically a sign on a long stick to show hits and score.

I like that two.people I respect and watch in the gun world are meeting from opposite sides of the globe.

Looking forward to both of the firing! I need to take my SVD out again👍

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Do it, the SVD is a fun platform even though I have a hard time getting accuracy out of mine.

Did Serbu bring his famous 50 Cal?
    Did you buy one?

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No and I wish.

I shot an SVT-40 this summer, very uncomfortable grip to hold while standing, either that or I have small hands. Hard to reach the trigger and have your thumb around the stock. I imagine the Dragunov is more ergonomic. Can't remember if I ever shot a Dragunov though. Did also get to shoot a NordArms 7.62 Nato.
    Great bromance!

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

The Dragunov is more ergonomic, but has about the same accuracy for different reasons. Dragunovs actually in use my snipers in Ukraine all have their barrels changes, sometimes with caliber swaps and often with chassi systems. This helps.

I came from your kar98k video and I was extremely curious as to where you got it, and if there are any recommendations on places to get one?

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi, I got it from Germany, you have to shop around to find one in nice condition.

How rare is the svd there? Here it’s a unicorn horn.

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

We can still get it. A Russian one like mine might be hard now but the Chinese NDM86 or equivalent is available.

    • @caseysmith8831

That’s way cool. Is it hard to source ammo?

Swedistan police how about you let this man buy a .50BMG rifle? Like the Serbu BFG-50 which is single-shot and therefore not dangerous at all.

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว

I tried to buy a single shot for 7 years...

Of course any day shootin is a good day, But single rounds from a SMG ,Booo.. Nice range though.

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว

😉 I know. But there a reason. Hard to get those tight groups with fa fire.
