You nailed the Angus tone. I'm less convinced by the others (although they're nice by themselves). I'm quite hesitant between the SV20H, the JCM 800 4010 (my favourite) and a JCM 1h for home... Tough choice ! 🎸🤘🏻😜
same here, they both sound great but different, plus the gain difference between the 2 amps, plus the practicality of the front and back panel of the SC20 compared to the SV20's up panel and hidden back.
You can totally get closer to billy gibbons with that amp without a tube screamer if you took more time and listened to zz more for Reference. Not enough bass, little to much treble. Also billy plays with the volume knob alot. Set the amp to beer drinkers and hell raisers tone and use your volume knob. You will have almost every tone minus the Octavia sounds he throws on with a 10 band eq to make the signal not so overwhelmed and gained out for zee zee first through fandango . For Tejas to el duegello sounds. I'm not 100% sure on. Tejas is my favorite album. I'm still trying to figure out wht all is going on their.
you got a plexi and you don't play any of the jimmy's????? you didn't play jimmy page or jimmy hendrix, the 2 biggest jimmy's in guitar who used plexi amps!!!!!!

Hello, how was the sound recorded? with Captor X via a speaker simulation and an IR load? If so, we don't hear the sound from the amp.

the reason why you might not be nailing Mick Mars's tone is because he used JCM800s and Soldanos, never used the Plexi
I thought Mick had a Jose modded Plexi that Pete Thorn demo'd. I prefer the sound of this amp over Mick's
