I saw one of your flexi rod videos and you were the first person I saw to actually braid the root and that really changed the style for me. Twists don’t work well, but braiding the root made it so great and lengthened the style, and it got me into doing braid and curls
Girl the Amika blow dryer brush is bomb! I got one about a year ago and I don’t use anything else for my blowouts now. Also, if you get the Amika anti-humidity spray, game changer!
I got something similar from my bf mom for Christmas this pas year and it was a game changer!!!! I washed my hair, sprayed it with heat protection, uses a regular dryer (because I wasn’t sure or confident at first.) but then I used the heat/air brush and it did wonders!

i love the amika blow dryer!! i use it on my hair when my hair is damp about 30-40% wet. And it almost looks like a silk press. i use the amika heat proctectant and it makes my hair feel extremely soft and smells like heaven
@@_kjanae_ well, my amika blowdryer only lasted 9 months. It turns on but blows no air. I probably accidentally blocked the airway when i was using it, but i heard many people say it only lasted 9. Amika made a new one that "lasts longer" but i have not tried it.

Hey kimmy. I tried 1 of those not a name brand, didn't like it was too heavy 😕. That's how I felt too a lot of heat and my hair wasn't straight like I thought 😅. Love the results makes the color pop

I always either put rubber bands at the roots or plait the roots and leave the rest of the hair undid. Works every time on my super kinky 4c hair.
