I was supposed to do my hair today, but I got super busy so tomorrow it is. My hair is super moisturized & shiny. I know I shouldn't have, but I did. I know it will be ok because I did it 3 years ago with olive oil. People asked me for 6 days straight how did I get my hair so nice & shiny. Ok back to you 🤣. I'm sure it'll be okay. I'm doing the orange rods tomorrow evening. Right on time 🧡. Your hair came out beautiful and you were outside. really cute .. I use Lotta Body but my curls do not come out so beautiful .. My hair is not that long only medium Im using the orange rods and my curls do not last overnight without going flat .. Any suggestions on how to get those tight curls .. the rollers are tight but Im not getting the curl ..
If your hair is shorter, try going one size down to get more rotations around the rod to get a longer curl.

All hopes and dreams crushed! LOL! I waited until the weekend was over to do this next flexi rod set and I'm so glad I did. It's a nice crisp 65 this week and it was 85 and humid this weekend.
Nice!!! It's in the 70s this week I'm having the most trouble with the technique of getting the hair on the rod and keeping it tight. Also keeping the ends from fluffing up while on the rod.

My dryer sets do last longer against humidity than air drying does.

Is your hair dyed/bleached blonde? If so, do you have a video on how to maintain healthy natural (dyed) hair whilst using heat? It’s so pretty! ❤
It's a gentle lift with bleach before adding color. I have a "healthy hair" playlist if you want to check that out. One thing about color and heat, I don't do direct heat often. I flat iron maybe once or twice a year. I learned the hard way that I had to choose one or the other. I used to be in the salon every two weeks for a fresh flat iron and i was platinum blonde. No bueno. Less is more when you are using color for sure. I hope that helps!

How long will the style last?
It all depends on your texture of hair... How you take care of it... How many times you will put the rods in your hair during the week...
Looks nice but question why dry the hair then wet the hair the roll the hair? Can you just do it wet? I wish my hair was that long cause short natural with a perm rod set is like wearing a Jerry curl 🤣🤣🤣. I’ll try what you did. What product was it again. Do you an oil for shine with the separation? LOOKS AMAZING!
Doing styles on blown out hair gives me more length. Less shrinkage.
I definitely put oil on my hands when separating to reduce frizz.

I pull my hair up into a loose pineapple and tue a scarf around it.
Can you do someone with short hair.
This style would work better with smaller rollers for shorter hair. This would allow you to get more rotations around the rod.
