  • The Love Serve Remember Foundation, along with our friends at the Alan Watts Organization, have curated this special offering - featuring words of wisdom from Ram Dass and legendary contemporary spiritual teacher Alan Watts.
    (0:00) What Is Reality?
Challenging the pervasive myth that we are small separate selves individualized within our bodies, Alan Watts proposes the idea that we are far beyond the concepts we define ourselves as. Describing how we stretch all the way back to the big-bang, and far beyond our current state of being, Alan cuts through society’s hypnotizing illusion of separation, inviting us into an awareness of the eternal Universe as our true being.
    (6:14) True Identity
Peering through the cracks of the conceptual models of who we think we are, Ram Dass illuminates the ever-present unity that lays behind the diversity of separation. Ram Dass lifts the veil from our identity as a separate being, showcasing instead the compassionate interdependence encased within our identification with the unity of all things.
    (12:16) Do You Do It?
Harkening examples from Hinduism, Christianity, and Taoism, Alan Watts elucidates-through the lens of ‘self’ and ‘other’-the intrinsic power encased within authentic trust and surrender. Alan plays with the idea of truly letting go of control and power; imploring that true surrender to the Universe brings about the nondual realization of Oneness.
    (19:36) Truth and Trust
Outlining the process of ‘God, away-from-God, and coming-back-to-God,’ as our current predicament as incarnate beings on Earth, Ram Dass expresses how-at a certain point of realization-we can’t help but to begin to steer our lives in the direction of awakening.
    (19:36) Non-Action & Wu Wei
Exploring the wisdom behind non-action, Alan Watts interprets the Taoist concept of ‘Wu Wei’ - which he defines as “the principle of not forcing in anything that you do.” Illustrating that non-action is not to be confused with passivity, he explores the subtle nuance of acting without being the actor, falling into natural flow with ‘The Way of things.’
    (33:28) Embracing Our Humanity
Contemplating juicy lessons from his disembodied friend, Emmanuel, Ram Dass shares the wisdom encased in truly embracing our own humanity. Expounding the pitfalls of pushing away our incarnation’s individuality by ferociously grabbing for the spirit, he shares Emmanuel’s now-infamous antidote of, “You’re in school; why don’t you take the curriculum?”.
    (44:05) Meditation
Explicating the process and implications of meditation, Alan Watts highlights a methodology for becoming ‘interiorly silent and ceasing from the interminable chatter’ of the compulsively thinking mind. Describing the meditative process of moving behind thoughts and symbols to cultivate a direct relationship with reality, Alan surmises that the purpose of life is a song and dance from the heart in the ever-changing immediate present moment of existence.
    (50:34) Faith
Illuminating the dichotomy between going-up and coming-down, Ram Dass digs into the swinging spiritual pendulum of finding deep peace in meditation, juxtaposed with the reality of dealing with our ‘stuff’ in the world. Honoring our incarnations, yet viewing the visceral swings of life simply as kaleidoscopic patterns of energy, Ram Dass invites us to play within the binary processes of forgetting and remembering, of getting lost and awakening.

I feel the same but their are still good teachers, for instance Shunyamurti, I find his sat yoga his sit downs very profound, he has a different 'style, he talks slowly and uses Western labels allong with new ones, he also integrates the current world events into his telling. I think, I am convinced Yeshuah was refering to the same meditation, as can be clearly seen in what he says. "The kingdom of heaven is within " is one of many.
I believe he teached the technique
But they didn't put it in, because it empowers the people

I also started my self realization journey in the mid seventies with "The Book" by Alan Watts and it blew my MIND. Marijuana was already in my life for a year and right after I read the book, ACID appeared!!! This was perfect timing and of course, Richard Alpert took his SOUL name Baba Ram Dass and IT was on. I started practicing YOGA and still do. When the student is ready the GURU will show up! This path has been so hard but so much more beautiful. I believe that the spirit of God is inside us and can NOT ever leave us because He/She doesn't want to. NEVER!!! I have become the light inside of me and all I have to do is shine!!!

Neville Goddard, a prominent spiritual teacher, often emphasized the biblical figures of David and the Son of God in his teachings. Here are some key points associated with his emphasis on these figures:
David as an Archetype: Neville viewed David, the biblical king and psalmist, as an archetypal representation of the individual's journey towards self-realization and spiritual awakening. David's story is seen as symbolic of the transformation from a state of limitation to a state of expanded consciousness and divine realization.
Imagination and Faith: Neville emphasized the power of imagination and faith in manifesting desired outcomes. He interpreted David's triumph over Goliath as a metaphor for using the power of imagination and unwavering faith to overcome obstacles and achieve one's goals.
Son of God as the Real Self: Neville taught that every individual has a divine essence within them, which he referred to as the "Son of God" or the "I AM." He believed that recognizing and embodying this true identity is the key to manifesting one's desires and experiencing personal transformation.
Identification and Assumption: Neville's teachings revolve around the concept of identification, where individuals are encouraged to assume the state of consciousness they desire to experience. He often referred to biblical passages that highlighted the importance of identifying with the desired state and living from that state as if it were already true.
It's important to note that Neville's interpretations of David and the Son of God are specific to his teachings and may not align with traditional religious interpretations. His emphasis on these figures is intended to illustrate spiritual principles and guide individuals in harnessing their creative power and realizing their inherent divinity.
As with any spiritual teachings, it's advisable to approach them with discernment and personal interpretation, taking what resonates with you and aligns with your own beliefs and values.

You’re here because you chose to be here, because this is a learning place, each lifetime is a wonderful learning opportunity and to move closer and closer to your oneness with god, this happens in very small stages, first oneness with self, then oneness with your human community then oneness with god, if done in one blinding flash it would be too inconceivable and confusing so be patient, when we choose to come back, we construct an embryo to hold within us the areas of distortion that we need to work on, then we choose our infinite environment to act as a catalyst to bring out these areas, you were where you needed to be as a small child so accept the distortions in you cause when you accept them then you can transform them. That is what life is about, we are here to find these areas of imperfection to understand them to love them and to educate them into reality which is truth, love, light. Celebrate when you find imperfections. We are in a school the work we must do is the carcciculum. Be human

I had a very strange experience one day during childhood.
I had a absent father and my mother worked. So many mornings as a young child I was not looked after like todays children. Well I woke up at the age of 5 I decided I was going to go for a nice jolly bike ride😂 well tricycle. That damn thing was in the basement. Let alone a 5 yr old dressing shoes opening doors 3 flights of stairs etc.
The experience part happened as soon as I got my bike out of the front door took me a very long struggle of a time. Well walking out the front door immediately I was taken over by 2 different conscious points of reference plus my own which makes 3 ppl now inside my mind. The one was female the other male or masculine and feminine there was no entities. Thet where arguing about the nature of reality weather it was real or not. The next part of the story gets real so. I attempted to ride my bike in front of a car to prove exactly what the nature of reality is. The car missed I got freaked out rode my bike home and the memories of what happened after that are not accessible. I ran at 8months crawled well pulled myself out of the crib at 5months and scaled it down.
In reality that day was the my first awakened day meaning some how I taped into a consciousness that never left. Another night well mom was not present I was laying in bed bored and wanting to play. So in my mind I thought of a bunny and kept thinking if I thought hard enough I could make one with my mind to play with. What happened next is just ridiculous. In front of my eyes a holographic version of a real bunny hopping along. My conscious thought was oh it worked but it was only a hologram you cant play with those. 🤯 I was still in freaking diapers. How these two stories are possible is beyond me. There are things about this life I just know. I dont need someone to tell me certain things I just know.
Many things both these gentlemen talk about I knew in early childhood. Not because I am special or anything of the sort. I asked for it in many ways. The why for me has a drive I still don't understand. I am coming to the fact that maybe I should share more of my story. I am mostly a hermit but I have to work etc. I am afraid one day I will go off an hermit to escape the none sense of society. One can only learn so much from a bacteria before he comes to it himself.
All that I know is I don't. The one thing I do know. Is I AM. To do or not to do that is the ?

You missed the whole essence of it right there:
" there is no point to get to, no conclusion to be drawn and no destination to be arrive at"
it's all about the journey, the flow and the perpetuity of consciousness and you just go along with it.

Sweet talk. I am now thinking of life as delegated authority from geochemistry - early life had very limited scope for influencing development, but have gradually become more powerful with more latitude of action. Now we face having it withdrawn because we forgot the authority.

Absolutely love both of these great people! Here’s a question for the Truth seekers.. where would a modern day person who isn’t holding a degree or professional title get their message to people in the manner of lecture like this? Media doesn’t accommodate anyone who isn’t “professionally licensed” when it comes to real things. They block it from “everyday people.” I in fact have valuable information about the Universal energy to share that will increase anyone’s understanding, yet I’m met with nothing but deaf ears and opposition. My only intention is to be a contributing factor to the betterment of the planet. All I would need is for a few people to take the time to listen to a “stranger.”
Anyone interested or have suggestions of a way to set up live lectures and Q & A gatherings?

      @DennisMoore664 ปีที่แล้ว +1

The first thing I'd suggest doing is write about and create some introductory videos detailing your information about the Universal energy and whatever else you want to share with others. Once you have material you can start to spread that message online through your own webpage, various social media sites, and right here on TH-cam. It will take time, consistently creating and releasing new content to drive interactions with the community you are trying to form, and you'll always have to put up with being ignored, dismissed, or ridiculed.
Once you have even a small community you can use any number of online applications and platforms (including this one) to host live events or Q&A sessions. I don't have specifics about how to technically do this last part but Shirley there are directions and how-to videos online about hosting events on TH-cam or Discord or some other site like those.
      Good luck!

TH-cam - get yourself on some podcasts and let it roll from there?

    • @phoebetyra8204
      @phoebetyra8204 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Why haven't you shared this knowledge you have through the comments you've made on the podcasts you watch. You can get your information to many, many people without having to meet protocols or jump thru hoops to have your own podcast. Are you sure you can't share this way? See, if you had already then hundreds or even thousands of people could have your information already and maybe they shared it with someone in person and then it just keeps going. You nay NOT have any thing worth listening to, maybe?

Watts liked to embrace the senses & their influence on our consciousness.
Ram Dass engaged that behavior thru his hedonistic lifestyle,LSD & later had to reject that philosophy for inner freedom.
