never let a crisis go to waste
One of the world-government's top attributes.
klaus schwab couldnt have said it better.
When covid hit I was amazed at how much I could use the fear and uncertainty to deepen my connection to others. Even as it divided neighbors and strangers and my own relatives and as I was judged for not judging.
And then last year I lost my fiancé to a sudden and traumatic death. He really was my world and there were days I did not think I was going to make it through alive but Ram Dass gave me the exact insight I needed when I truly sought peace in all that grief. I did not want his death and my pain to be wasted or lost to my self pity.
So yes - never let a crisis go to waste. When in doubt mediate.
There is another meaning to that statement. Personal crises are when I make my biggest strides forward--IF I take advantage of them. So we might say "never let a personal crisis go to waste" and be more accurate and less creepy
2023 has been a year of great change and upheaval for me. My marriage is in turmoil, my career has taken a total nosedive, and I'll be 60 in less than a year. The future is VERY uncertain at the moment. I've also been diagnosed with spinal arthritis which is causing chronic pain.
I've gotten off FIVE different psych meds (Western medicine oy vey), lost 22 lbs, found a long lost brother and spent most of the year in and out of shuddering anxiety and deep depression. But I am finally confronting these things on a whole new level, thanks to Ram Dass, and some other brilliant and beautiful teachers, and I am finding there is peace and true freedom available in every moment. Staying out of the future and the past and just trying to Be Here Now... Namaste everyone.

My twin flame went to be at peace the other day. After listening to this, I realise she is not gone, but now able to share every waking minute with me. I can still feel, hear, smell, see, and talk to her. I've just gained her as part of me and my life for the rest of our days. My best friend, my teacher. She is so wise, and I hope I can honor her memory.

Mine went 2 full moons ago. The august 30th one. I feel the same way. I feel like I knew him in past lives & even had a vision w/him. Yes he is always with me now and forever. Now more than ever too it seems like. There are so many confirmations ✨

Knowing I know I don't know what I know makes knowing a wonderful trip through life. Once I knew I didn't know what I was supposed to know, I started to live my life knowing that to know that not knowing anything at all is a blessing.

In “The advanced course”, he mentions a aspirational hope that one day, attending an RD lecture would consist of everyone just sitting, looking at each other, in silence. And, indeed, silence ultimately speaks the loudest. Sometimes that silent darshan of the god within each other is what’s needed. Other times the words help me ‘remember’. But sometimes………………………..👁👁…………… will suffice…………………………………🕉

Absolutely! The hardest "anybody" of "us" could do. Having gratitude, even for the most mundane things, helped me a lot on the pathless path. It'll all fall into place. Have trust in the process. - Maybe it sounds hard to believe right now, but it will be shown to you in time. It was pure grace to me.

This comment is to peacefully protest the gatekeeping of RD’s lectures. Common complaints as clarified by the community on the Ram Dass subreddit are as follows.
Removal of content, privatizing/licensing out content, copyright striking others who post content without replacing what was removed or providing another means to access the content.
Restriction of what is released, cutting and editing pieces of full lectures and not releasing the full lectures themselves.
Putting a paywall in place that provides access to still limited content.
Access to content is overall severely limited compared to just a year or two ago.

On reflection,im so glad i was so in life for the first 50 years of my life. I expanded so much i was fully in the game god loves that,especially when you are in the play so he can play.
