I love the way Bozak turned to argue the call and was momentarily confused by the lack of a call
When a player flops often the "offending" player will instinctualy turn to argue it towards ref. No doubt tho he thought he was getting a penalty.

Yeah krugs end to end leaving the skates is the way to teach how to hit,but the 2 blues that got 1 game suspension,when the other team players put themselves in a vulnerable position, was so 1 sided,Shen caught a hook for blocking the puck as the guys shoots,oh no the stick breaks,so penalty blues

Carter Collins I might argue that it is both a dang it and a hat pick. Someone in the organization was saying “dang it.” The first clip I watched was a recording of the broadcast. They were complimenting the staff for keeping him away from a mic. Then he walked over to a mic... It is also a hat pick because of the gem that it is.

As funny as it was to see, I couldn't look at that ugly mug all the time. Them again, as a fan of the Blues since they started in the league, a picture of the Stanley Cup is GREAT to look at when I use my phone.

The biggest dangit for the Habs was having a fantastic comeback season only to miss the playoffs because everyone else in the east also decided to be really good
The third one was a trip but Acciari chose to lay on the ground for 15 seconds instead of getting back in the play, which caused the blues to score. Yeah and the bruins got plenty of calls.
Yfhyfbh Gfjnvfg Firstly, 95% sure Acciari pulled every muscle in his leg after that. Two, look at how that goal was scored. Acciari couldn't have stopped that if he wanted to. Finally, the lack of calls against the bruins in no way justifies missing that trip.
A.J Fercho Acciari could have totally changed the outcome of that play. Had he picked up Bozak, Perron would probably not and try to force that pass and instead shoot the puck, making it a 1v1 between Rask and Perron, which Rask probably would save.

It was a trip no doubt about it. However, Acciari should have been penalized for embellishment on that trip. He made it look like he got hit by a truck. If anyone thinks players don't intentionally put themselves in a position to draw penalties then they are crazy. This is the Stanley Cup finals where drawing a penalty can mean the difference between a win and a loss. There is so much embellishment and other kinds of buggery that goes completely unnoticed most of the time from all teams in the league. Boston fans acting like they have a team of honorable angels is the biggest joke in the NHL.
10 suspensions in all of the games 7 of the players were playing against Bruins and their owner is apart of the NHL board HHHMMM

Steve, we watch the Dang-It videos because we love seeing how animated you get, and what level of soprano you'll reach, when you're really worked up about a particularly nasty 'Dang-It.' Really going to miss this during the off-season.

Im a Blues fan and yes, that was a missed tripping call.... But has everyone forgot about the missed hand pass call that ended the OT game against the Sharks? Its how you respond after the missed call that defines how good the team is.

@@stlchucko I went to that parade, drove 3 hours to get there through the storms. And I talked to people there that drove from 5-8 hours away and local people that camped out through the night in the storms. That is the dedication the Blues have inspired from the fans. Was an absolute blast of a day.

Absolutely a missed call. Should have been a trip. But I get upset when people act like Berube was the one who made this not get called. Bad officiating was the theme of the playoffs and you could argue the blues got screwed the most out of anyone throughout the playoffs.

The trip was obviously a mega dive. The right leg that went flying at 100mph wasn't even the leg Bozak touched. Look again. he tripped his left leg and his right leg went flying further than the left.

I still don't understand how I'm the only one who thinks it was embellishment. Look at his right leg, it doesn't get touched at all and he just whips it up and over his head for no reason at all.
The play that acciari got tripped, a similar play happened in game 7 to Bergeron, looked like the same play.
May not take as hard of a shot to break the jaw. I took a short lifted shot from about 3 feet away to the eye/nose. Ended up with 3 breaks in my nose, orbital cracked in 2 spots and an eye that is pretty much useless now.
So many bad calls against the Blues too. Two suspensions? Garbage. 5 on 5 Blues are better.
You're kidding, right? The Dallas series was the worst. Uncalled slashes on Bishop. The Maroon crosscheck on Lindell that led to the game winning goal. The numerous non-calls on the Blues all series. San Jose and St.Louis were gifted there series wins. It was a sad day in sports to see a team who never deserved to be in the SC finals win the cup.

Back to watch again a few weeks later. First, yes I'm a Blues fan. It was definitely a trip. That said, it was also embellished. He almost kicked himself in the forehead with the opposite foot. That flat out wouldn't happen. Call both, or neither. Side note: much respect to Chara! He's a BEAST. This series could've gone either way. A healthy Chara, might've been the difference. Cup or not, great series Boston!

The Bruins reaped what they sowed all season long at exactly the wrong time. Refs look the other ways for Boston the entire year, and then in this last series the shoe is on the other foot. Boo hoo. I don't feel sorry for them.

No Chara actually did something wrong. He made contact with the shot such that he directed the puck toward him rather than away from him. A lot of players learn to deflect shots the safe way, apparently not Chara.

ive learned after reffing a small tourney, that reffing IS NOT EASY. so i have learned to ease up on the refs. but i think this was the most horrendous reffing in ....EVER
