In this my new video you can see a comparison between Marvel's Spider-Man and Batman: Arkham Knight.
This Spider-Man Vs Batman video was completely recorded, played and edited by me, the video is taken from the PS5 and PC version of the related games.
In this video you can see the different techniques used by Spider-Man and Batman to stop racing cars in their respective games, as we see Spider-Man is softer while Batman uses more aggressive methods against criminals.

The thing is, during Arkham Knight there are no civilians, the city was evacuated at the beginning of the story, the only ones left are criminals so Batman can go all out if he wants to.
There are no civilians in Gotham, they are all criminals. Spider-Man lives in a fictionalized version of New York, sure there are criminals there too, but its not the same.

I honestly believe out of all the heroes in Marvel, Spider-Man would be the one Batman would respect the most.
From the crossover, Captain America claims that victory, Bats likes Peter but thinks he still has a lot to learn
I think Batman would probably be more interested in a hero like Hawkeye or even daredevil because he basically has a 360 FOV and Hawkeye has some pretty insane aim which can definitely come useful in some occasions

Peter would be a good friend to Nightwing, and a good Robin too
Having the two gameplay side by side emphasises how Spidey relies on his strength but consciously holds back, and his fighting style is a mixture of self-taught and his sense.
Batman doesn't have natural super strength so he's relies on his technique and knowledge of weak spots as well as more specialised gadgets. While I'm not an expert, Batman's moves just feels more like he's based his style on martial arts.
Both are amazing games for the two heroes though.
Batman is typically portrait as having extensive martial arts training and experience, to the point where he's said to have mastered most martial arts (or at least all the the major ones and probably a few obscure/secret ones) and thus ends up with a fighting style that mixes and matches various different techniques, adjusting his moves to fit his current situation.
This may vary from one author to another, but I think that is the lore that Rocksteady went with for the Arkham games.
Spider-Man on the other hand is supposed to be a more relatable "normal guy turned superhero" sort of character, so his fighting style consists of self-taught melee moves - where he lets his super strength, dexterity and ability to improvise do the heavy lifting, rather than relying on formal training - and ties in his webshooting ability to control and arrest his opponents, especially when confronted with large groups. This gives him a unique fighting style that can't really be imitated unless you are another Spider-Man, like Miles Morales.
Also worth noting:
Batman's very straightforward approach to combat typically results in him almost always going for KOs, while Spider-Man's webshooting ability and restrained use of force often leaves his opponents webbed up but conscious.
Basic summary:
Spiderman: Acrobatic, strong but with resistance, sassy.
Batman: Precise, disciplined, quiet.

Legend has it that Arkham Batman can extend his plot armor to some of his enemies so he can beat them to death or inflict them injuries that would normally kill a person without actually breaking his code.

I think this shows two different perspective. When spiderman saw a stolen car, he wanted to return the car to the owner. When batman sees a stolen car, he wanted the robber to get arrested.
The funniest thing about Batman is unlike with Spiderman the goons in the car are probably not causing any trouble, nor do you ever initiate a chase. You just have Batman jump on "their" car for no real reason and absolutely ruin their day.
To be fair the only people that stayed in the city are people who enjoy chaos and first responders, it's safe to assume they most likely weren't up to any good.
If you played the game you'd know that some of the goons in cars in Batman randomly fire rounds at the air, and others try to chase down police cars (or the other way around) so no, they are indeed causing trouble one way or another
