      Yeah. Nash's father died of a heart attack in this late 30s if I remember right. That would've been enough to scare him to thinking he was going to die like his dad did. Triple H had the same medical issue about two years ago and retired a day after his 30th anniversary as a wrestler. If you think about it, both of Nash’s stories about Starrcade ‘97 could be true. Marijuana use has long been known to trigger anxiety attacks in some people especially if they’re not prepared for how intense the effects can be (a common problem with edibles). As anyone who’s had an anxiety attack can attest to, if you haven’t experienced the symptoms before they can feel very similar to a heart attack. So it could be Nash took too many edibles, started freaking out, thought there was something wrong with his heart, and wisely checked himself into a hospital.

    • @honoratagold
      @honoratagold 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Especially since there's a family history of heart issues there -- if you have a parent who had a heart attack young, you're encouraged by doctors to always make sure it's not your heart first, so it would be unsurprising if his mind leapt to "am I having a heart attack?"

    TNA for all of the negative stuff that has happened during their existence deserve their flowers, for stuff innovating match types like Ultimate X, keeping the War Games concept going with Lethal Lockdown, King of the Mountain, the X division, and showing that Women's could be taken seriously in North America with the Knockouts division.

    The Raven title change: it actually took place on a Border City Wrestling show (Scott D’Amore’s Indy promotion). The reason the title change happened is because those in charge wanted Jarrett to be champion when impact debuted on Spike TV. Since there were no TNA shows scheduled (they didn’t start their own house show loops until late ‘07/early ‘08), Scott D’Amore booked it on his show, and sent footage to Nashville so they could air it on the first Spike TV Impact.

    15:31 Hey Brian at Genesis 2007; Kaz and Christian fought over a “fight for the right” tournament for the #1 contendership for the TNA world title. It’s a ladder match and they’re fighting over a clipboard with the contract stuck to it. Halfway through the match the paper falls off and they continue the match without putting the paper up; so they climb for an empty clipboard and Kaz wins and held up the empty clipboard.

He held the tag team titles 3 times with Low Ki and Christopher daniels. Was a pretty solid heel. Had plenty of great matches with daniels as a tag partner (including that hurricarana off the top of the cage you love) and when he turned face he had a great feud with daniels over who the better member of triple X was including a TREMENDOUS match against Daniels for the X division title during Daniels 6 month reign you mentioned in this video in 2005.
