@@DerekZoo thanks man! I know Ristretto were testing a 72 V battery a couple of months ago, I don’t know where they are that, but I do imagine they are prioritizing shipping at all the current 512 orders. At the time of ordering this bike, I was thinking about getting an Aerial Rider Grizzly, or an Onyx, but now there are more options. The Vexcite MK1R is a nice bike, so is the Graffiti X (see my vids). My next video will be a first look at the Segway Xyber.
Gosh I hope they bring a 72v battery to market, a 1/2 twist throttle option (and some good rubber grips). Wish they would have done a longer swing arm. This was the unfortunate geometry issue with the Onyx RCR but DatShop in NYC addressed this. Oh. Also turn signals in the front plz ❤
I was trying to see what sort of speed you had at different inclines but it’s impossible to see on the video. What speed does it get on a 9-11% hill? Thanks! My 52v40Ah Revv1 slows to about 19mph at those inclines and I desperately need something with more torque since my area is craaaaazy hilly.

Mirrycle. I don’t recommend unless it’s above the bar instead of below. Easier to look at but less cool aesthetics that way. Check out the mirrors Brandon has on his bike at 16:15.
The date was pushed back a really long time . Which suggests they knew the original date was not possible . This strategy is done some times through the ebike industry to gain a bit of money first to produce the e-bikes in the first place . I know this happens so i never pre order any e-bike While it did take a very long time from when they claimed, they are producing what they said they would .
It’s all about the finished product. While it was frustrating on times. It’s not like I got a shit bike after all that. So I forgive em lol. They seem to be correcting this department which will be amazing. But was totally worth the year I waited.
Nice video! How does this bike compare to Vexcite and Lyric Graffiti X? I've ridden only the Vexcite bike and loved it (although it was only a short test ride at electrify expo). I'm curious in your opinion since we seem to have been looking for the same type of bike. The only 3 bikes I've ben interested in are the only 3 bikes on your channel 😅.
@@B1azar09I’d choose the Ristretto over the Vexcite MK1 and the Grafitti X because it’s a mid-drive and it’s faster off the line. If you want a higher top speed and a more comfortable seat go with the Graffiti X. The MK1 looks more like a motorcycle, and might invite the need to get a plate and do paperwork, so I’d rather have something like the Ristretto as it’s appearance goes under the radar. Now if you’re looking at the Vexcite MK1R which is significantly more expensive and does 66mph, I’d probably go with that over the others because that amount of power is a lot of fun!
@@mmmmosaic I test rode the graffiti X, lovely bike! You can see my review. Yes it does have a higher top speed, however, it does not have so much torque. It does not have double the battery capacity. Both bikes are nice, but different.

@@josephpeir9966 it’s all about how the bike is set up around the motor. The fastest this CYV motor is known to have achieved is 65 mph. However, that was down to the bike that it was attached to. The Ristretto has a large battery, which adds significant weight. it’s also designed for incredible torque, so what it lacks in top speed it makes up for on acceleration. This is easy to change, you simply put a sprocket with less teeth on the rear wheel, this will give the bike a higher top speed and slightly less acceleration.
Peddling is totally fine and comfortable. Great for cruising the boardwalk. The torque sensing makes it really nice compared to other pedal assist bikes that kick in full power at the slightest pedal where as this does not do that. I really enjoy the pedal assist.
