Adam was the second Black Ranger. During Season 3 of MMPR, the Rangers gained new Ninja powers and costumes along with their standard Ranger suits, each one themed after their own animal spirit. Adam's was the frog, emphasizing his wisdom and courage, as well as giving him a little extra spring in his step.

I just noticed something in the Adam Park part of the trailer, Adam was beating up the Quantum ranger, AKA Nero VS Vergil as the VAs
Whoever recorded the game play knew exactly what they were doing. The same with whoever had him say "shall we dance" during the finisher.

Man, if only Max knew just how HYPE it is to have JYB back to voice... himself. For PR fans this is, along with Daniel Southworth coming back as Eric, such an amazing love letter to us. Growing up, Adam was my favorite character during MMPR and Zeo. So this is incredible to see him get attention like this!

The ninja suits were used in the show so fall under Hasbro ownership.
Disney own all original concepts used for the 90s movie so that means Ivan Ooze is impossible unless Habro buy the 90s movie rights from Disney.
Hasbro own the TV series, comics and the 2017 movie. So that is all nway can make content based on.

People have to realise that the MvC games are not souly own by capcom so I doubt it will ever come back.
MvC2 won't happen. Believe it or not, there are characters in that game that Marvel no longer holds the rights to (it's why so many fan favorites from the Marvel side were MIA in Infinite)
If MvC2 were to EVER make a comeback... It'd have to literally delete entire characters to avoid legal trouble. That, or Sony plays ball with Disney. And you can bet Sony's gonna milk this game for all it's worth.
Man, seeing Johnny Yong Bosch reprise his o.g. role and seeing how badass he moves is making my heart feel so full, this game is great

My general reactions:
Adam - Looks absolutely sick, and I'm glad they were able to find a unique way to include Adam (other idea might have been to use Zeo Green). I fully expected Johnny to reprise his role because he's a cool guy like that, and I'm glad to be right.
Poisandra - Gonna be honest, most of the hype I have for her comes from her Japanese counterpart Candelira. The fact that her moveset seems to include a few Sledge assists is a little weird, but maybe CG can make his costume not look like cheap ass.
Rita - An iconic character to be sure, but not usually one who did much direct combat (partly because of stock footage limitations, and probably partly because they didn't want to show a woman getting beaten up on a 90s kids show even if she was a villain). Fully expect her to be a zoner/minion master-type character, but either way she could be really interesting.
Sledge's costume did look cheap in the show though :/
especially compared to others, like the evil silver ranger alien hawk whatevs it was or Singe
@@sebleonard8273 Xenowing (the character you're talking about) was actually the mentor in the Sentai show upon which Dino Charge was based, so his costume had to look good since it appeared in almost every episode. Sledge's costume was made for the US version, but they seemingly had a smaller budget or else didn't have access to Plex, the company that makes the original Sentai costumes.
Ironically, Keeper (DC's mentor) was also a US-exclusive character, but his costume looked much better. Maybe they were able to give it better detailing since he was a non-combatant, unlike Sledge.
Is Poisandra supposed to be the Goldar of Dino Charge? 'Cause if she was just a Monster of the Day, I'd find it odd that they would pick her over any other Monster of the Day as the first to add to this game's roster.
@@Ability-King-KK No, Poisandra was prominent because she was the big bad Sledge's fiancée. Her Japanese counterpart was prominent because she ended up becoming a good guy, and even became the team's mentor in a one-shot "100 Years Later" special.
DC did have a character who could be considered a Goldar analog, but only vaguely; his Japanese counterpart was more of a long-term enemy and even had a series-spanning rivalry with the Gold Ranger.
@@AmuroNT1 But she was indeed one of the main villains working under THE main villain of the series, much like Goldar was. "Power Rangers in Space" was pretty much the last PR series I watched as a kid, so I know nothing about the series beyond that.

Sooooooo, fun fact: Johnny Yong Bosh *started* his career as a Power Ranger. I believe he took over for Zack in the first season, and he stayed on.... I think up until Zeo? He does reprise his role as Adam occasionally, including for the big reunion two-parter in Operation Overdrive.
Also, Doggy Kruger is actually an alien who looks like a dog, so his new costume is his "civilian" form.
Edit: I'm surprised that Dino Charge's first representative is going to be a villain. It was actually one of the better Neo Saban era shows.
He was in turbo until the new rangers took over and made a last cameo appearance in overdrive
His middle name is Yong, not Young. I say this because, during his time on Power Rangers, Haim Saban told him to add the middle name to make Johnny sound "more Asian". Because that's just how Saban is.
@Raymond Frand Ah, I guess he cycled out when everyone else did. I didn't see much of Zeo and Turbo when it was airing, only really getting back into it during In Space. I think the child weirdness really turned me off from the show, and Turbo really did not help.

Rita never actually fought in Power Rangers, but her Sentai counterpart once took on the Green Ranger one-on-one. Actually was rather competent in combat.
she fights in the Comics. She pounded Jason in one strike in Go Go #1 and took out a platoon in a later issue with her staff using melee

Tried watching zyuranger, and while I honestly couldn’t get into it - Rita’s sentai counterpart is so, SO much better it’s not even funny.she did more the 10 episodes I watched than in 60 episodes of power rangers

Adam wasn't a character I was particularly interested in, but some of those teleport follow-ups made me think of Seth, so I'm definitely interested in trying him out.
I knew about Rita ahead of time, and assumed she'd be the one to really catch my interest, but then I totally freaked out when I saw Poisandra. I've seen very little of Dino Charge, but Curio from it was regardless my most wanted character simply because their Sentai counterpart, Luckyuro, is probably my favorite character from the franchise. I didn't consider it at all realistic, especially since I believe their role was massively cut down in the Power Rangers version. But if Curio can't make it, their bestie is the next best thing, and with the cartoon effects and mid-attack taunts Poisandra's style looks almost as crazy as I imagined Curio's being. So I'm hoping she's really fun as she's definitely going on my team and probably going to be my overall main unless Rita is downright amazing.
I'm still holding out hope we'll get Pudgy Pig, Terror Toad, Eye Guy, the sphinx, or one of the other really iconic monster-of-the-days eventually though. We've got a few generals and main villains, but I'd love to see them really give some love to one or two random monsters. That's one of the reasons I love Piranha Plant so much; you can make an awesome fighting game character out of anything if you really try and get creative with it.
Actually, considering that he's apparently in Legacy Wars and it's almost October, I'm kind of surprised we didn't get the rapping pumpkin for Halloween.

When I saw this, I was like 'Poisandra but not Sledge himself?'
The Ninja Power outfit was in MMPR during its later seasons when they were using new footage and designs provided by Toei. This new power was granted to them by Ninjor and was basically a way for the Rangers to be able to do more morphed fight scenes without the traditional Ranger suits, acting as an in-between mode where they could use new powers. Ironically though, there were actual ninja Power Rangers they teamed up with, the Alien Rangers, which were sourced from an early Ninja-themed Sentai though in that show, they weren't aliens
It was most prominently featured in the first movie where the Rangers lost their powers due to Zordon being knocked out of his energy tube by the villain Ivan Ooze and dying from time literally catching up to him. They were forced to travel to another planet for a way to restore their powers and were given new Ninja powers during their journey to get their proper upgrades. Unlike the show though, the ninja aspect of their powers were downplayed, so it was more like a placeholder for their Ranger forms.

FREAKING FINALLY!!! Someone with the same mindset as me when it comes to badass villain designs and DLC fighters, but I also want Koragg in the game. Imagine the two most badass wolf themed villains working together. As for a guest DLC fighter I want them to acknowledge the very first character to have a crossover with a Power Rangers series the one and only Masked Rider(Kamen Rider Black in Japan) he had a crossover with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers just for those who didn't know.
Hell Yeah. Zen Aku is great, he can come with his predator Zord, it'd be great. More villain representation is always welcome in this house. I'd also like to see Titanium Ranger from Light Speed Rescue and Vilimax from Lost Galaxy.

The ninjetti frog ranger is from the first movie and the third season of mighty morphin, the design is leaning towards the movie though

From what I recall, this ninja ranger is from the power rangers movie. He had a frogzord and all the rangers had this ninja look for a portion of the movie.
About time Adam got in. Easily one of the all time greatest rangers.
problem is he shares his most iconic form with the original Black Ranger... But they solved the problem with his Ninja form which is also very well known because the movie was seen by pretty much everyone who ever watched the show

"Adam Park" is the black ranger from the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers movie with Ivan Ooze. The actor who played him is literally the voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch himself, just like how Eric Myers aka the Quantum Ranger from Time Force is played by the real life Dan Southworth himself.
Spoilers, at one point in the movie they changed from the normal prehistoric Zords to ninja jungle animal Zords. That's why this version of Adam is a Ninja.

I need to buy this, I really need to buy this. So much friggin love is being put into this game and as crap as I am at fighting games, I feel like I have to support this. It's just too good man.

@@josechamu240 I wanted to buy it long ago, but when it comes to fighting games I'm just a casual and these games simply don't keep my attention. Plus by the time I hop online, everyone left is a pro and it's just no fun for me at all because I get stomped into the dirt, so I just don't purchase fighting games anymore. It sucks too because from watching this channel for so long, I actually understand a lot of the fighting game lingo, but can't apply it in an actual match, plus constantly dropping combos after practicing for hours is immensely demoralizing.
yeah, these guys deserve all the support. They work so hard to make this low budget game great
@@JSmoothSoul It blows my mind all the love, care, and passion these guys put into this game and yet at the same time it also doesn't because indie studios very often clearly care more about the quality of their product than the money they generate from it. Granted of course they want to make money sure, but the difference with Indie studios is that, unlike the AAA landscape they actually give a crap about their game and want to make the best game they can. All the AAA market cares about is the money and putting in as little effort to make as much as possible. This is why I'm so adamant about wanting to see more studios go independent, because the publishers are the ones sabotaging these games, not the developers pouring their souls into it.
I highly recommend this game and the more you support this game by requesting characters and attending tournaments, the more the devs are gonna keep this game alive by adding more rangers and villains in future seasons passes.

Johnny yong bosch did also voice Yang in SF4. Pretty nice that theres touches of Yang in Adam's moveset
His stomp looks like yang's. And the flying kick at the end looks like the level 3 ender from Yun and yang in cvs2. Great detail.

Ivan Ooze was actually tougher in both the Genesis and Arcade versions. The SNES version was the easiest version of that boss

Adam Park is technically the ninja FROG ranger. He (along with the other Ninja Rangers) appeared in the movie with Ivan Ooze. I'm incredibly excited for him (especially with Johnny Yong Bosch)

My first thought is that it should probably be Psycho Pink, right? Since she's the one who survives for an extra crossover and all, but then it made me think _crazier_ : what if they capitalized on the fact that they are supposed to be counterparts, and the Psycho Ranger was like Android 21 from DbfZ and they do a grab on an opponent to get one of 5 different moves depending on ranger color, which also changes their ranger color? It would make them kind of the Shang Tsung archetype of the game in a way, the move copycat.
What about Psycho Green for another comic rep with Lord Drakkon, Ranger Slayer, and Mastodon Sentry?
