    @LNADoesAudioStuff I've been trying to teach myself music production with Ableton for a long time, signed up for courses, followed many tutorials from different producers on TH-cam and other platforms, and even though I'm a very good self-teacher in other things, I could never pass that threshold of feeling stuck and stupid like my brain doesn't work, but somehow the way you explain it is different. It really feels like you're aware of how overwhelming it feels to ignore so many key concepts while looking at all the possibilities in Ableton. You think about the person, not the feature your explaining, and that just clicked on me. Thank you for doing this, I hope I can stick to the process and commit to myself because it's been years feeling and thinking in music in my head and now I feel a step closer to realizing it. I'm definitely becoming a patreon 👌

    That was so helpful thank you. Do you have any tutorials where you time warp samples or chop them up into midi? Preferably rap vocals. I have izotope RX8 where I can extract the acapella from songs but its hard for me to get them in time in ableton. Im trying to make my own beats accompanying rap vocals just for fun.

    Hey LNA! Love your channel! I have a question that I think doesn't have an answer... but I'd love to be wrong! From what I can tell, it's impossible to start with the speaker icon (scrub) in the middle of a clip (ie. bar 5 in an 8 bar clip) in Session view without having all of the other clips start over at their beginning... Is that correct? I'm just wondering how one would go about editing the middle of a clip without having to hear it start from the very beginning after every edit so the other clips line up... Does that make sense? Thanks!!

    • @LNADoesAudioStuff
      @LNADoesAudioStuff  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi you would need to stop/mute the other tracks, or solo the one where you are working on the clip to hear just it from the middle of the clip :)

    • @jefgibbons
      @jefgibbons 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LNADoesAudioStuff Hey LNA! Not sure how I missed your reply 2 years ago, sorry! Thanks for replying... I guess that is the only way, but I would love to see a check box in a future version that allows you to hear clips start at whatever relative position they would be at when you start at an arbitrary spot in the timeline while editing. For now I will just use your tip and solo!

    Hey for some reason when I right click on scenes it doesn't give me the option too edit the scene tempo or time signature. I can edit the tempo of each scene in the bottom window but the actual working tempo just sticks to whatever the main project tempo is set to. Is there a way to prioritise the tempo in the scenes? When you do it it changes with the scenes but I can't seem to do that heeeeelp
