Hey just found your channel. I understand how to wire one light engine but how do you wire two to the cigarette fuse? Can I combine the power cords via wire tap then run to a fuse tap??
Yo bro I got the normal starlights , they came out with new effects and stuff like sparkles and meteor effect, can I just buy the thing again and just switch out the module that connects the fiber optics or would I need to rip out the old fiber optics and put new ones back in?
You probably could but they both draw there own amperage so it might be too big of a load.. your other option is to wire it to the battery with its own fuse and you can use a switch to turn it off and on
@@srt_392__ apologies. How Did you run the wire from inside the cab to the fuse box under the hood. Unless your fuse box is already inside the car then I know. I’m Trying to do mine but the only fuse box is in the engine bay. Don’t know if I should drill a hole through the fire wall.
So would I need the same amount of amps as the original fuse from the cigarette lighter? For example 20a & 20a top and bottom or 7.5a & 7.5a top and bottom?
I just had ambient lights for the doors and a starlight headliner installed in my challenger, now the passive entry won’t work. Any suggestions on what might be the issue?
So the negative wire(black) on the star light box goes to a ground. How do I ground it? Just strip the black wire and wrap it around a metal screw connect to car?
Amer Virk yes you can but it is not recommended to go straight to the battery without a fuse of some sort. I just made a video last week to kinda clear things up with this wiring. Check it out
The negative coming out of the starlight motor needs to be hooked up to the ground right where as the red one connects to the fuse is that all the connections necessary because I’m running my motor straight to the fuze box and I extended the wire I basically cut the power cord that came with the original kit and I added on a wire that would reach my fuze since my motor is in the very back since that’s the best I could. Please respond thank you.
The stereo shop installed the relay. I didn’t ask for it lol, just told them to install my power inverter. The add a fuse is called “ piggy back auto fuse “
Hey man, I did everything except the wiring. I dont have a battery or fusebox in my trunk, Even off reddit no one is helping me with how I can run cable from the cig lighter cable it came with to my fusebox bc the gauge of the wire is around 20-22 (I opened up the cig lighter cable to get the red & black cable) which is super thin and the current drop and risk of overheating would be high
Sometimes you have to do what you have to do. If that’s the only way to wire it then do it that way. The current dray is only like 6amps I know the cigarette fuse can handle that. I just would not use the lighter at the same time my lights are running so you don’t pop the fuse
The stuff behind the side panel, no I’m not gonna make it neater there. But I remove the power inverter often so I can’t make that part and better because it has to be movable
Everything about that wiring is so wrong 😭 dude just cut the wire and and a relay and inline fuse its not that hard. Mf added a whole ass inverter just to go from DC to AC and back to DC. Pointless.
hey could i just split the wire and make positive and negative wire and wrap the positive to the cigarette lighter fuse ?

Same question I have
Can you show how to wire the negative to the battery?

New module bro I love it
Want to know if I can power it from my amplifier by putting the wires into the + - terminals with the amplifier wires from the battery
It will always stay on if you do it that way but it will work
@@srt_392__ is there anyway else I could hook it to the amp so that it turns on and off without a switch
where can i find the cables you have and also where can i find the kits you use?
Ik this video old but hopefully I get a response but is it possible to run to kits to the same fuse?

How do you the wire from inside the cap to the fuse box in the engine bay?
I don’t understand what you mean. Can you elaborate on your question

@@dizzysteakfirewalls should have small black rubber caps, run the wire under the through the hole and put back the cap
Where’s you get those fuse wire adapters
Do i need to do all of this or can i just plug it into the cigarette lighter?
So would I need the same amount of amps as the original fuse from the cigarette lighter? For example 20a & 20a top and bottom or 7.5a & 7.5a top and bottom?
No I would add another of the same one you pulled out to add on. The starlights only draw a max of 6amps
Where can you find the fuse thing from like from Amazon
You can get them at a local auto parts store in small quantities or yes on Amazon

Ever figured it out
So the negative wire(black) on the star light box goes to a ground. How do I ground it? Just strip the black wire and wrap it around a metal screw connect to car?
Hashy313 yes yes and yes. Only other thing I would do is scrape off any paint where your going to drill the screw into.
So for the fuse tape adapter can I use the window or radio fuse sense they only turn on on ignition?
Yes you can as long as the stock fuse is above 6amps you can use it
Can you just cut the wire that comes from the motor for the lights and connect the positive and negative to the battery terminals ?

Yes you did it correctly. When that fuse gets power the starlight motor will be able to turn on.
What fuse do you have on the double fuse
Hey can I get a link to the products you used in the first products you showed?
^
Yes! A link to everything required for this install that you used would be greatly appreciated!!
Why would you have a relay to a fuse then to the fuse box? And what are those butt connectors to a fuse called?
The stereo shop installed the relay. I didn’t ask for it lol, just told them to install my power inverter. The add a fuse is called “ piggy back auto fuse “
What amp fuse did you use for the starlight motor?
I wanted to understand but you might as well have been speaking French to me. 😳🤣
What do you need help with lol

Mine won’t turn on unless I use power from my house
Lol you just have to cut that wire
Can u send me the link to the shooting stars
Link is in the description
Ok thank you
Nice
does the amps matter when connected to the fuse box? how do i know which one to use?
I’m a girl I need more clarity !! 🤣 how to hook up to the cigarette lighter.
Lol it’s all good. I’m actually about to work on the car tomorrow message me and I can make you a more detailed video @srt_392_
