- Have you tried the new Sakura Gelly Roll Retractable and UV gel pens? If not, you’ve got to get your hands on some! They’re a lot of fun. Watch me review these new gel pens to see how they compare to the original Gelly Roll pens, and to see if I like coloring with a retractable gel pen. I swatch the new pens on both white and black paper; then I draw a mandala using the pens (even the invisible UV gelly rolls); and finally I show both of them under a UV blacklight to see how well they glow.

I would love a follow up as to whether or not the retractable pens last or dry out!
You could always add a dot of paint to the retractable caps so it reminds you to click and not uncap.

I know this is not about Gelly Rolls but I am having trouble finding a list of colors for the original 72 (older) Castle pencil set. They did not have numbers or names. I am now trying to add the 24 sets to the 72 set and having trouble finding names or numbers to match them up. Thanks
Wow!! The investable ones are so cool! When putting the more rays to the paper!! And the way the colors pop out!! Was very beautiful! And yes!! Could do a lot of cool art with them. Back in the day when the blacklight came out, and the posters with all the colors you can imagine. Lol. Friend of mine had taken an extra bedroom they had in there home. Took the mattress from a few old water beds!! LoL. And made it the floor. Then painting the whole bedroom black. And decorated the whole room with the blacklight posters! Had bunches of other items that would stand out in the black light!! Whole looking night sky! From hanging planets!! You get the picture!!🤷🤣😂🤣🤭🤭. It was called The Acid Room!!😂🤣😂🤭🤷. Remember this was back in the early 80's. Lol. But that idea has never left my memory, cause of the artist in me! ☺️❤️🔥🙋. And yes! You had to remove your shoes before you were aloud to enter the room. Lol 😂. Yeah! I can come up with some great ideas for the invisible pens!! Great job Gellyroll!! As far as the other pens! Sounds like they are perfect for traveling! No cap lossings, throw into your bag and go! Now all we need is get them done in all the beautiful colors that Gellyroll makes. 🤷🤣🤭🤷☺️❤️🔥. 😅 Sold!! I use the original Gelly Roll white and it gives a nice effect but I find the ink doesn’t flow out particularly well, it’s scratchy and uneven . How do I fix it?

I live in the UK. Was interested in a swatch book but having decided what I would want I found out you do not ship to the UK. I could see from the calculation that shipping would be prohibitive but wish you would say upfront you do not ship to UK. It would save a lot of time wasting. I don’t usually watch US videos because of product availability so I guess I should have realised. I watched you because I wanted to see what the new gel pens were. I haven’t looked yet to see if Amazon UK have them.
You need a real challenge, Jennifer. Let's see you do somethng with the Elemental Ink pens from Scientifics Direct.
I love all Gelly Rolls, they work so good, never scratchy, etc. Now, they don't offer refills, but UNLESS they offer refills for the retractable pens, I WON'T buy, not worth it for shorter pens.

I want to love Gelly Roll. But they never work long for me. I store them horizontally. The black is defunct at present but never used. Two whites are not working. Same with the Uni Ball white ... none of them want to work. I love the colors and just bought a bunch of Gelly Roll pens in various colors open stock, but if they stop working I will NEVER buy them again. Added: I have cheap jell pens and they work no problem even though never used. I don't understand what the problem is.....
Follow up would be great. Cuz as we know gel pens are stinkers.
