Man, this video has a bit of nostalgia for me: I'm not sure if this is just a Dutch thing, but gel pens were THE thing back when I was in elementary school. I swear, they made you the coolest kid in class for the day, everyone wanted to borrow them. We only had matte and glitter back in the day, though. Glad to see some metallics, because I'm such a sucker for metallic stationery.
I do have a green Sakura Gelly Roll Classic and also white Sakura Gelly Roll. They may seem ordinary but they are truly awesome, and their colors are so vibrant I couldn't help writing with Gelly Roll pens! Thanks Jetpens for featuring the Sakura Gelly Roll lineup. Feels like I'm going back to the 80's and the 90's.😉
I have the soufflé pens and they look so cute and almost like they would taste good because of the pastel colors

The Glaze pens are definitely my favorite - I have them in every color they make. I sure wish they would make more colors & shades, I absolutely love them and the texture they add to my coloring pages!

Edit:my favourites are definitely the stardust! They are sooo pretty and I love to use them in my planner and on art projects!

Do the new Moonlight colors glow well under a UV blacklight? I mostly do blacklight art and am especially curious about the sky blue and the lavender. I have the gray ones and the original 10 and they all glow, but was wondering about the new ones. Thanks!

I had the blue and black one but I felt that It wasn't exam-friendly given that it took a while to dry and always would smudge. Nonetheless, it's one of the best gel pens for craft work! Hope you could do another brand line up (pilot line up etc)
Stardust line by far is my absolute favorite!!! The crushed glass included in the ink makes these pens the best!!!

I am almost completing every gelly roll here. But there are some colors that are not available in my country
Wow, it kinda surprises me. For an-originally-japanese-brand (am i right?) I'm kinda surprised that the japanese version that has less color/types. Usually it's the US ones. Though for me, if i buy at a local store (online or offline) both kinda confuses me, because some stores uses the japanese line and some stores uses the US lines. Because we dont have a branch company/supplier here.
I just bought the 74 set I am so excited to use these in my Cricut Maker LOL
Does anybody else struggle with them keeping their initial fluidity and line thickness? Many times they stop inking even if they are full of ink. I mean, does one need to finish them in a certain amount of time after the first use or do they need to be stored in a certain position?

Hello, I am new to coloring for adults and just purchased a set of the 74 Gelly Roll pens. I like to organize my coloring supplies and when I received my pens they were all jumbled up in the sectioned box which is very nice quality wise. Do you know where I can get a guide that would tell me by sight how to categorize each pen so that I can organize them? I know the pens are marked but it is not easy to understand the various symbols or numbers on them and I could use a guide.

Depends on what effect you want. For a white pen, the Classic should work. If you want a glitter effect, the Stardust is good. The Moonlight and Souffle are opaque so those write well over watercolors. Hope this helps!

It may depend on what kind of fabric you're using, but we wouldn't recommend the Sakura Gelly Roll on cloth.

what is the best way to store gelly roll pens? mine dried out from storing them vertical with the caps up even though they still have a ton of ink.

We've never seen the term "Blister Card Moonlight" or "Blister Card Souffle," but we assume this refers to the Moonlight and Souffle pens that are packaged in a set. We hope that helps!

Are the classic gelly roll good for note taking ?
The Classic Gelly Rolls work fine for note taking, but we recommend the Uni-ball Signo (www.jetpens.com/Uni-ball-Signo-UM-151-Gel-Pens/ct/286) or ballpoint pens like the Uni Jetstream (www.jetpens.com/Uni-Jetstream-Ballpoint-Pens/ct/354) for note taking!
