It is a testament to your influence with your creativity that Karin should send you a full set. I love watching your testimonial videos. They are very informative. ❤
I must say, every time I c u use that tan paper, I'm always impressed with how cool it makes the medium look, whatever it may b. I might just have 2 order me some. Would like 2 c more of the Karin collection videos. On a different note, I like Rose's hair just the way it is. 😊
I love Steve’s comment of putting them in colour wheel order lol. I was thinking the same thing. A great idea to have the option. They have thought it out so well.
Pastels of any coloring instrument always look their best on your tan paper. They're nice on white, they're nice on black, but they just explode with color on the tan paper.
I would love to see them on something other than paper as I haven't really found a great acrylic marker . Great colours and a fab review so huge thanks.
Thank you SO much. I am blown away by the opacity. I actually don't own any paint markers {yet}, so I appreciate your review, and coloring. Especially appreciate the comparison to the Poscas, as I'm such a collector, I may have tried them and been disappointed. But, I'm so behind on swatching and organizing 🥰{really like swatching with your forms and organizing} I may have to wait a bit.
I can't wait to get me some. I found them cheaper on Amazon, but I'm a Blick customer too. I'll see which one gives me the most bang for my buck. Thanks, Jennifer. You're super amazing as always.
Hullo kids, I hope you are doing well and enjoying the supplies! I have enjoyed watching your videos and the thoroughness of your review processes, you do a wonderful job every time! Please keep going and please give Rose a pat from us!
Hi Jen, I love this review. I actually bought one set and the metallic through art snacks early in the year. I had tried them through one of the art snacks box that I bought last year and I was so pleased with them. P.S I really love the two prismacolor pencil books which I will get very soon! Happy Holidays Maria.
Hi Jennifer, and thank you for the most excellent reviews! I took your advise, and bought the Karin BrushmarkerPro set, and they are superb. That set is water based dye, and I love em'. Sadly, the set you are reviewing here was a swing and a miss for me. These 'Karens' are happily named a decorative brush, which acccording to the manufacturer, is - Acrylic "Like" . I should have observed that distinction, as well as your black swatch card results more closely. They are beautifully made and pastel like, but you can't appreciate just how weak they are until you put then next to a pen with actual acrylic paint inside. How the decobrushes look on your black card is how they look next to good paint pens-faded. No comparison video to cite here- I wonder who makes those....
I don't own any acrylic markers yet but I really want to get this entire set just to add to my art supplies. I would love to see u do more with them and I think the difference between the Karin's and the Posca was night and day. The Karin's have amazing coverage
I bought that set a few months ago and I love them! I use them almost like acrylic paint, just mixing on the paper. Afterwards I line over them with ink pens because staying in lineart is a bit difficult. Much better than regular poscas imo, I couldn’t do a full picture with hard nibs like that. Only wish they had the same set but desaturated 👌 Interestingly, after I tried about 20 papers, the best one for me was some basic mixed media paper, not particularly thick, that a local art supply store here in Germany makes. No bleeding even after layering on the same spot 5-10 times. It’s the type of paper where ink and water markers immediately bleeds through, too.
In the bliss switching books that you sell can you mix and match different papers within a single book. Like some black paper, tan paper, watercolor paper, marker paper within 1 swatch book?
I love your reviews. I only wish I could afford the things that I see. I want to share with you that four months ago I turned my mom onto coloring and she has already finished a book and two thirds. She has been using my tombows. She just ordered four replacement sets because we have run out of them. Two weeks ago she ordered a set of 24 pitt artist brush pens. I have been using them in my Johanna Basford coloring books. I have finishe Inky and Ivy for my niece. She is having her first baby in a few days. I have also finished tow of Nicola Lemaans Madalas with borders books, and Gnome sweet Gnome. I love your coloring books I have ordered three or four.
I bought this set a year ago and wish I could return them. The idea is beautiful but the pens are not pigmented enough and they dry out easily. I was so disappointed in them
the nude colors don't quite do it for me; as always, African and Hispanic skin tones aren't fully represented [I used to live in California where it would have been a bigger issue for me than it is now that I live in Canada, but still worth mentioning. I thought why can't I find a good set of ready-to-go skin tones, my blending of these always goes sideways, that include these?][ if you, or anyone, know /s of one I'd love to hear about it, thanks]
I don't think you will find a set paint of paint markers that include a full range of skin tones. Paint markers from any company just don't include that many colors, I think Karin has the largest range of colors.
great review Jennifer, convinced me, I can live without these, and save Santa the cash, for a change; nice change from the fortune you usually cost me hehe
not sure how these are that different from all the others already on the market... very opaque so if that is your thing - they seem good. I rather use Gauche which is the best of both worlds!
Don't hate me but I bought the full set and unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend them. They are nice at first but the tips wear and paint clog after a short time even though I followed the instructions. I would suggest that you try 2 or 3 pens, see how you get on then consider buying the set after a few weeks.
They look very steaky to me, I can see ever mark in the box. are they suppose to do that? That to me isn't pretty. I like a smooth look when I color, but that's just me. I hate streaks in my pictures, but there again that's me. The color look fantastic and are beautiful colors, but they are not for me to spend that kind of money on them, so thank you for the video before I wasted a lot of money.
Do they really think that ANYONE is going to pay that amount of money for marker pens in today's economy? I'll be interested to find out how long they manage to stay in business....

Seems to be a well thought out product. Impressed! Thanks for the in-depth review. Blick is a great resource for supplies and great prices.
Would definitely like to see your Cd art as well as how the markers work on other types of products!
I must say, every time I c u use that tan paper, I'm always impressed with how cool it makes the medium look, whatever it may b. I might just have 2 order me some. Would like 2 c more of the Karin collection videos.

Id love to see how your cd art turns out! Thanks so much for always posting such great video's ❤❤❤

I love Steve’s comment of putting them in colour wheel order lol. I was thinking the same thing. A great idea to have the option. They have thought it out so well.
These pens look absolutely amazing thank you Jennifer,Steve and little rose 🌹 for sharing this upload 🥰
Great review video! The new technology that allows all of the paint in the pen be used comment. Definitely gets my attention!

Your smile always brightens my day!

Thanks for all your hard work. Love your channel. Would love a digital trip color system for kalour, and Derwent chromaflow thanks

Beautiful Jenifer the pens look lovely

Btw, I can recommend shaking the entire tray instead of every pen. The color separates after a while and that way they’re all ready in seconds.
Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
The nude colors are my fave. Also the greys!
I’m going to have, to invest in these markers brushes. It came nice, you’re an awesome colorist. ❤
Hi Jennifer! My Cairn Terrier Ceilidh (Kaylee) and I would love to see your project with the discs. Thanks from Judy in Nova Scotia, Canada
I'd love to see you compare these to the Artx brush paint pens! Ideas?
Rose's shadow while you were trying to finish your page got me laughing so hard. When they are done, they are DONE!
You are so Amazing, thank you again it was very helpfully
Steve is feeling BLUE 😊
💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 just wondering if they have a smell at all?
All the colors are beautiful 😊

Thank you.
I’d love to know if anyone has tried using these on air dry clay. They do seem to be amazing markers.
Jen opened that nude box and all I said was ooohhh😂😂😂
