Had a very similar experience, on an old county road out here in texas going about 80 it’s a 65mph road. Blow past a city cop going opposite direction; luckily for me he had people behind him and I had a couple cars behind me as well, it made it tough when he slammed on his breaks to turn around. I gunned it and took the first right I could and then immediately took the next 2 rights (basically a big horse shoe). I was then facing the same road I was just on and he goes flying past me, as I go to turn right. I then pulled out behind him and followed him through the up coming town until he turned off. Was pretty dukes of hazaard. And a bit thrilling to say the least ain’t ever done it but wasn’t bout to get a ticket for 15 over lol

@@Ergo8152 Was with a friend in AZ and he was driving back when we were in the military, and he was doing something like 125 in a 75. It was a long open stretch of stick straight road between Tuscon and Phoenix, so it's not like there was a chance of running over someone or getting into a wreck since it was just flat road in the middle of desert. We got pulled over and apparently the cop had a friend who died the previous day due to a speeder clipping him while he was writing a ticket. He dragged my friend out of the car, cuffed him, and literally threw him onto the hood of his squad car - at that point I didn't know if he was going to punch him or shoot him or what - but he was *pissed*! Of course we didn't know why till later in the stop. We were lucky that he didn't take him to jail right then and there, though if he did, it's possible my friend would have gotten the charges dropped due to the cop's actions. He still got a nasty ticket out of it though, and if he'd had a decent enough lawyer he might have been able to get it dropped, but I don't think he did. It was around 2000 so I don't know if dashcams were standard or not at that point in AZ. If I recall though, he might have confiscated his driving license and I had to take over driving. I really did think the cop was going to at least pummel him at one point.

I was returning to an underage party on my buddies BMX, got my scruff grabbed by a cop inside the apartment, all my friends were sat down around the living room. Answered some questions, and the cop told me to "get the fuck out of here".
Riding away on the bike, I ended up in the far parking lot, which was infested with cops, but I didn't notice until they lit me up, because drugs. "Hey you! STOP!"
Hard nope. So I'm pedaling like a mofo and I can hear cops on foot behind me (thanks for the lights, boys) and I'm coming to a dead end. In one unthinking smooth motion I hopped off the bike, threw it over a 6 foot fence, then threw myself over the fence, and I was back on the bike and gone in a matter of seconds. Booked it and got away. Hid in a buddies back yard til the sun came up.
Might have been the best night of my life honestly.

I'll give you a quick story. This happened in Tx back in 2004. About 7 miles outside of town on a straight road running between some corn fields, really late at night or early in the morning, and some of us were racing out there because there is never any traffic, and it is a mile of perfectly straight road. I was maybe 17 at the time. My cousin's house was right next to mine and on the way home I was behind his z28, flying down the road. Someone had called the cops on us, and we lived a few miles away from where we were racing, but met a cop coming to investigate. We turned into our driveway which is 60 yards long, and that's when I notice the lights behind me. I stop in front of my house and my cousin keeps going farther back to his house. I rolled down my window and the cop didn't even stop, and yelled out his window- "you stay right there. Don't move." He went back there and a little while later he walked up with my cousin.
It was a black cop, and he was cool as hell. He clocked us at 126 mph, which the car I had only had a speedometer up to 120 and it was maxed out, so that seemed pretty accurate. He was so happy that someone wasn't trying to chase someone down to kill them that he didn't even give us a ticket. That's what he thought was going on, that I was chasing the car in front of me and that my cousin was driving for his life. He could have taken us to jail. Instead he lectured us for a good while. It had got his adrenaline going I guess because he turned around and caught up to us he said, but I didn't notice him because at those speeds you don't want to even glance in your mirror because it just feels so fast. And I was not someone who had any experience driving at high speeds. Now I realize just how dangerous that really was, because with all the animals that constantly cross the road it wouldn't take much to run off the road. I did a lot of stuff when I was a teenager that I can't believe, and which I wouldn't do now even if paid. Crazy how you think you're invincible when you are really young like that. The fact that we didn't even get a ticket is miraculous to say the least.

The last time I was pulled over I didn't even see the cop. He pulled me over and as he walked up I yelled "HEADLIGHT" and he said "yep, get it fixed" and I said "ok". And he turned around, got in his car and we both left. He didn't see my face and I didn't see his. I realize it sounds crazy to alot of people but honesty really goes A LONG WAY with cops. Their entire day is filled with people that hate them and lie to them all day every day for about 20 years if they can hold on for that long. Being honest and admitting guilt is such a relief on them they often reward you with just a warning.

I outran a cop a few years back in an 04 Corolla. I was on an empty highway aside from an old black bmw matching my speed. We hit a mile long bridge that ended with roads on both sides, or you could keep going straight and stay on the highway. As soon as we get over the hill part of the bridge I see a cop waiting at the road on the right. I’m doing over 100 and had to make a split second choice. I slammed on my brakes and take the road the cop is on passing him full throttle in a straight piped car. I took the first turn I could and I knew these roads like the back of my hand because I lived 5 minutes away. I’m flooring it until I’m doing over 100 down a narrow back road. I take a couple more side roads and full throttle the whole way until I made it back home.

I'm not a speed demon by any means, but like everyone, sometimes you're not paying attention to your speedometer on the highway and your speed can get away from you on rare occasion. So I blew past a state trooper doing a speed trap on the side of the highway in one of those little "emergency vehicles only" turnarounds between the two sides of the highway and it's about 11pm at night. I saw him out of the corner of my eye right as I passed him, and my heart skipped a beat like it does and I was thinking "please stay there; please please please do NOT move".
Sure enough I'm looking in my rearview and I see the lights flip on. Luckily by that point I was pretty far ahead of him and I had the advantage of it being dark out. I quickly sped up more and passed a tractor trailer in the middle lane, scootched over into the right lane, and made very sure to keep the tractor trailer in between me and the squad car, slowing down as he blew past the tractor trailer and then sliding in behind the trailer as he cleared it on the left and would have been able to see to the right of the big rig in his rear view mirror.
Yep - I played Ring Around the Rosie driving around an 18-wheeler with a state trooper on the interstate, hahaha! Luckily, my exit was the next exit so I got out of there before he realized he'd been had and pulled over to wait for me.

I was once RACING with some other jerk (we must have both been in our 20s) on a empty street in the middle of winter with tons of snow on the street. There was a cop with his little tripod radar device in the middle of a looooong block, with no intersections and no cars anywhere around. By the time I saw the cop, and he tried to flag me down, I was already a few seconds away from him. I must have been doing 2.5 to 3 X the limit, so if I hit my brakes, I'd have spun out, hit the curb and likely him and/or me would be done. So I just took my foot of the gas. By the time I was around 1.5 X the speed limit, he was a tiny speck in the distance. I took some evasive actions, through side streets etc. and then onto a highway and was gone. I was crapping for two days waiting for that knock on the door. But I learned my lesson, never do more than 50 km\hr over the limit and keep a sharp eye out for the cops ;-) And I "won" that race. :-)

Well my brothers and I are black and we once got pulled over in a town of predominantly "caucasian persuasion" and were let go without any hassle.
So the way it played out was before we were pulled over, my brothers and I were cracking up laughing about something that was so funny that we couldn't stop our laughter even as we were being pulled over nor when the officer was approaching our car.
So when the officer was finally at the driver's side window, my older brother who was the driver was laughing due to my little brother with a thick helping of muffin in hand making the situation completely unprofessional.
At this point I was able to see the officer's face which turned out to be a white woman who was completely thrown off by the fact that we were laughing while at the same time became astonished by my little brother holding such a thick muffin in the middle of the night which certainly did not help keep the officer on procedure.
Cause in her experience, people at my brothers and my age of the same "caucasian persuasion" as the officer from the area tend to hide drugs while being high off them which makes awfully suspicious unlike my brothers and I.
So ultimately the officer became more interested in why we were laughing while obsessing over my brother's muffin that made her find no reason to be suspicious of any wrong doing and let us go.
So the moral of the story kids. If you're black in America, just throw off the officer by being super chill while eating something so delicious that they can't help but notice it. JK 😂😂😂

At one point I was pulled over so many times in a month I decided to just fucking out run them. It was dark, the highway was empty and I was doing like 80. When I saw headlight pop on from the other lane I knew it was a cop. So I just started going faster. He came across both lanes before turning in his reds and blues. By that time tho, I had put nearly quarter mile between us and since I was over 100mph he wasn't going to catch me. He was so far behind me that he never saw me get off on my exit. Turns out, in my state they aren't allowed to chase you if they have to be over 100. DISCLAIMER: I'm a trained professional speeder with a high performance German car and this should not be taken as a justification to speed.

I guess this isn't true in America, but in my country if you stop your car in a handicap spot you are not "parked" until you exit the vehicle. Until then you are "standing" your vehicle. You would certainly be told to GTFO but there is no ticket for it.
Second point is you do not have to pull over until a police officer has given you a "clear direction to stop". So if a cop is going in the other direction, sees you being a naughty boy, hits the lights, hits the brakes, does a u-turn and comes after you, there has been no "clear direction to stop" until he's behind you with the lights on. I've done some crafty escapes during those tense few moments in my youth.
