There are two Snow White adaptations I've missed here: one from 1992, a German-Czech co-production with famous actress Gudrun Landgrebe as the Evil Queen and 1997's Snow White: A Tale of Terror, where Sigourney Weaver played the part.
I see none of these versions have the Wicked Queen dying the way she did in the original fairy tale - being forced to dance herself to death in red-hot iron shoes.
There is one obscure Evil Queen (sort of). In the 1967 anime "Princess Knight", episode "The Magic Mirror", the vain Princess Bella has a magic mirror that tells her Princess Sapphire is the fairest and Bella attempts to remove her. Then in a twist the magic mirror turns against Bella, attempting to kill her. Both princesses end up saving each other and Bella becomes content with who she is and befriending Sapphire.
I don't understand why Gal Gadot of all people was casted to play the envious queen from the snow white story cause it's feels odd to see her as the villain
Yeah....will admit it does feel odd seeing the actress that we've come to know as Wonder Woman in the role of a villain for a movie, but who knows, she may do alright...just have to wait and see.

Imagine delving into her past, revealing the events that shaped her ambition, vanity, and ultimately, her descent into darkness. It could be a rich tale of complex emotions, power struggles, and the blurred lines between good and evil. Who would you cast as the Evil Queen? Would you prefer a dramatic, dark fantasy tone or a more sympathetic, empathetic approach?
Do the Disney Theme Parks ride appearances of her not count? Lame but also kind of a relief to little kid me considering how terrifying she is on the older versions of the Snow White dark rides!
