This is just the ID in Seattle. If you consider the entire Puget Sound region, there are "Asian-style" shopping districts spread all over the place(Bellevue, Silverdale, Southcenter, Northgate, etc). The ID, though, deserves recognition, because this district has plenty of awesome history backing it's reputation. Not just "Asians" call this home, this neighborhood (the ID) is a direct reflection of what makes all of Seattle good: Food diversity, ethnic diversity, fun times, and plenty of food to pass the dreary, overcast days in cloudy Seattle.
My first China town was San fran China Town i have my real first Dim Sum and such :D Im not Asian at all but i have so much love for the Asian people. I never really knew why but i do :D Maybe i was Asian in a past life....huh...starting to make me thing....*ponders for a moment on her past life.*

These guys are funny. The boba puncture was hilarious. On a serious note: This is my hood. If you ever want to see what goes beyond this video in the "ID", let me know! Several festivals spaced out throughout the yearly calendar give NW peeps a very valid excuse for wasting a day in the ID (dtSeattle). My favorites are the "night" festivals where the ID transforms into a scene that is so cliche in markets across Asian cities: Masses of people, drinking beer and eating pulutan or whatever you wanna call it, and just having such a good time. Fireworks? Yes. Plenty. I wonder how the ID gets away with lighting them off.
I wish I knew these places..because I wish I've been there. Someday I will be there tho!
