Lucky you've got Joan, Who knew you needed so much supervision? I have always loved this forest. It inspires me in my "foresty" endeavors. I have several planted and in their second winter (hawthorn, river birch, Norway maple and larch) as well as one in the planning stage that might include Western red cedar, lodgepole pine and hemlock. This one would be a "nod" to your bog forest. Thank you for all of your videos. They are a lovely way to spend a rainy cold December day in wintery Boise.
I know this isn't going to be popular (I am an animal lover) but the cat licking itself in the background really is distracting. The other day it was licking its A**. Being hard of hearing means relying more on visuals and having an animal grooming itself in the background totally takes away the attention, not only from the trunk line/s but, from the composition itself. I came across the Bonzai Zone about 6 years ago and have been besotted with the art form ever since. I Thank You for showing people "sticks in pots" can become beautiful trees with care and attention. Thank You Nigel you are an inspiration and a guiding light to show Bonsai is accessible to everyone. Keep clipping and Growing my Brother.
I'm not sure if it's intended or an automatically activated feature - TH-cam has started dubbing your videos automatically (in German, for me) using an AI-voice and I have to disable this feature every single time to hear your actual voice. The titles of the videos are also auto-translated since 5 days ago. I find it very distracting and would love to watch your videos with your actual voice in English without having to fiddle with the settings all the time. I love your work!
The Joan Zone! 😆🐦💙
This is one of my favorite compositions of yours Nigel. Thank you again for your good work!
