    it's not as fun as skating, but it never hurts to be the guy who brings a broom and trash bags to a spot. i have 24 hour access to an indoor park thanks to pitching in and giving back to the community.

    • @corail53
      @corail53 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Where that park is located that is not possible. There will always be junkies there trying to stay out of the crap weather there because its close to one of the biggest hit areas of homelessness and drug use in Canada. The park is also on borrowed time as the viaducts above it are going to be torn down and the park with it. Locals often clean it and the city does sweeps every now again as well. He just went in a bad time when not many people are out.

      @indigosurf 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They try, but it's hard to keep up in the downtown core where many homeless, mentally unstable, and those struggling with addictions seek shelter during the rainy seasons of Vancouver. The rest of the city's parks are very well maintained by the locals.

CCS warehouse and Skate warehouse (skatewarehouse.com) and so this is where I get gear (Im currently skating a 8.0 Zero deck). Im also a old guy I'm 35 and i skated in the late 90s (Jamie Thomas was my fav skater back then along with Ed Templeton). I actually just recently got back into skating and I'm nowhere close to your level but having so much fun and its great exercise but trust me I get whooped (I'm not in the best shape) anyway thanks for uploading these awesome videos!!

    I skated a lot of times in there when I lived in Van, too many syringes on the ground and it was definitely scary to fall, and if I went there early there was still a few homeless people sleeping in the skatepark, none of them seem to care about the skateboard sounds but it was awkward to skate. Nevertheless there is a lot of people helping on cleaning the skatepark, but there is still a lot of work to do since it's near to hastings street still I would definitely recommend people to go, the park itself is fun just don't go with kids if you're a fearful parent, other than that you'll be fine

    For pop i prefer a steep (kicks) Deck with 14 3/8 wheelbase (its a Shopdeck from a German skateshop who uses generatordecks) with forged indys. When i want my manuals more consistent i have to choose a little flatter Kicks, also with indys (forged or Standart height) a Jart with 14 1/2 wheelbase works great....I am really interrested in custom shapes designed by you, the biggest problem is the shipping. But im sure there will be a lot more interests from my country.

They have a minimum of 50 per design but not sure how you can get the blanks. You have to know someone I guess. A local shop here has them from time to time. Straight from Mexicali I believe.

    SoCal USA. I like Wide boys, 9-11 inches. I ride Indy 159, 169, and 215. Ideal Decks have double kick, Wheel wells, Interesting & functional shapes. madness has some sick stuff, so does welcome. $40-75 is reasonable. Ps stix and dsm are the best woodshops imho.

    I'd put some game cameras that flash every pic in the bridge webbing & parties might disappear
