Quicker aiming time doesn't matter much when you can't kill your targets faster
It's near useless on it's own, but in teams of 2 it can be very nasty and decrew field guns and tripods rapidly, but that's the critical thing, it means you need another person, that's one less person doing other tasks, makes it impossible to be alone wolf.

Warden sniper rifle: kill people
Collie Sniper rifle: kill warden sniper and take the warden sniper rifle, so you can kill people
Just like in real life, Foxhole snipers are some of the most patient people in the game besides logi, and if competent, are a terrifying sight to behold, assuming you live long enough to see them
True, and the terrifying thing is that you don't know who's next on the hit list. Sence the snipers had their range buff its almost impossible to tell were the sniper is coming from, making it difficult to push while not trying to take too much losses. As a sniper player, you can change the tide of battle with just one weapon by targeting high value targets to help the infantrymen push, a single shot can be the difference between victory and defeat.
As an avide sniper user, yes we have to be extremely patient but one of the biggest things new snipers fail with is positioning. If you have a good position and are patient with your shot and targets you can be a god over any battlefield.
Logi Guys make excelente snipers, there is nothing more satisfying than doing Front-Logi and grapping an Sniper after the delivery

I have been seeing slightly more snipers this war though, but thats also kind of a problem because I keep seeing new players using them then dying and giving them to the enemy, then bam, collie snipers picking us off with our clancy raca ever time we push
The foxhole sniper is one of the best interpretations of a warfront sniper I've seen in a long time. Requiring patience, strategy, timing, and range. There's no quick scoping, flicking, or spam. It promotes the slow methodical careful style of sniper that I adore. Fighting against it is terrifying, but not frustrating. All it takes is catching them out of position. The experience of being forced to hide in a trench as a medic watching my brothers in arms die too afraid to pop my head up out of fear of being one-shot is fun and fresh. And playing the sniper and setting up on logi trails or setting up near common construction sites and popping people then repositioning like some kind of commando is amazing. Turing the fides of battle with careful consice shots. Man I love foxhole
Feel the same way about machine guns, feel like in games machine gun suppression is never feared or respected but foxholes game design works so well with it
Once you start sniping tank commanders, no one pops their hatch open afterwards.

Exactly what happened at thunderfoot, once I popped a couple warden tank commanders heads they all retreated
Once as a collie i was fighting against an overwhelming warden advance. I knew we couldn't hold, so i grabbed a sniper and as much ammo as possible, jumped into a foxhole on the edge of the battle, and once the Wardens overran our position, started picking off enemies on their way to the front.
I inflicted at least a dozen casualties, caused quite a lot of chaos for the wardens, as now they had a lot of people running around trying to find me, and medocs trying to help got picked off one by one.
I eventually ran out of ammo, got caught and was executed via very angry firing squad, but it was worth it

there's a slightly cruel persona that comes out when I use this sniper. A medic trying to be a hero, saving their comrades in the.... BLAM*. A bane wielder. Trying to wait for the right moment for the tanks to get close anddddd BLAM*. HVFAT crew. You get the point. Cruel laughter

As a sniper player I always check my target's name before taking shot. I want to know if he's no regi noob or big boy vet. I feel sorry for first one.
The second battle of Fading Light was my first battle in Foxhole and it was the battle that got me hooked on the game

Ah yes, remind me of last war. Moidawg crew attacking procession with tank and I was chilling with my clancy inside my foxhole. It was midnight and Wardie thought they were safe with the cover of night but I was a tank driver and I have extensively train sniping the tank commanders so I immediately down 2 tank commander and 2 driver by just using tank headlight and hatch animations. GREEN MEN COMETH!!!!!

I personally enjoy the Auger, the colonial equivalent. It has 5 more rounds per mag and the bloom decreases quicker. Less damage, but I usually down people in one hit anyway by aiming for the head.
There are no headshots in the game.
As engineer gaming said (if correct) your 1 hits are because you hit already injured enemies. Which is still a good job done finishing wounded enemies off.

This game is very realistic if naturally the best targets for snipers are artilery observers, hevy weapons crew, enemy snipers and medics.
Hey, how are the new bridges? Are they as impactful as you thought they'd be?
Honestly, they're very situational and you rarely see them outside of early game pushes. There have been a few times sneaky partisan stuff happens with them but the big hindrance to using them are the fact that they require metal beam pallets, so logistically it can be hard to move them to where they need to go.

So are stormcannons and tanks, for infantry anything more then other infantry will probably outmatch you unless you have more numbers.

@@danksmemington362 well infantry almost always has more numbers, trenches, bunkers, or other armour to fight the enemy armour. If you even watched the videos on this channel then you’d realize the infantry are never actually alone. The majority of players aren’t all on infantry, it also depends on the tech that was developed or how much logistics the logi are able to give you.
