I have gotten sniped countless times from random spots, and it pretty much always ended with the collie sniper getting counter sniped or rushed for being in a stupid spot. That having been said, please do grab 12 mags of sniper ammo and never reposition
There was this one time I was fortunate enough to have two halftracks go down the same god damn ravine every time with their hatches open. So I just stayed on the cliff side and kept sniping their gunner every time they pulled up to shoot. Everytime the gunner died; they backed up to get him to respawn. I kept stalling them over and over again until the rest of my team capped the town. Sniper rifles are very fun.
i make my own clancy and ammo, never lost one unless the whole base is overrun, if you see a bunch of sniper with lots of ammo in a chest hidden somewhere in base that's probably and most likely my stash. =V
To be fair, with the newest update coming out, sniper ammo is being removed, and now snipers will simply use rifle ammo. So now EVERYONE can find out how much the Colonial sniper sucks, and never bicker about teching it AGAIN. That said, at least it won't feel so bad to use it, because it will be easy to get ammo for it.
