A great suggestion for a pattern that I would normally pass by. Looks great. for 1 cm seam, a good trick is to move your sewing machine needle position to the far left of center so that the side of your foot can be a guideline for 1 cm. No need for tape.
Super lovely job! White linen is the epitome of summer, and lord knows we have lots of summer in OK. I appreciate how you pace your sewing project so we can following along on the details. I haven't done a PDF pattern yet, but this one gives me some motivation. Thank you!
I love the seaming in the back too. Nice detail. I’m working on the Melody Domain top from Love Notions. I cut it he back to make a yoke and then wasn’t quite sure how to finish. And now I do! Thanks.
Yes! they are similar. It looks like the Simplicity has a full hemline and this one has a fitted hemline. I think i might like the simplicity for myself.
@@stacyrobbinsthank you so much for replying. We live in northern rural Minnesota so nice apparel quality fabrics are difficult to come by. Plenty of quilting cotton however.😅 I just recently found your channel and am enjoying your wit and charm very much. Bless you!💕
Thank you! I do use sew in interfacing. Usually with anything sheer, satins, silks, or heat sensitive fabrics. I also like it for tailoring where interfacing is used to shape and build up.
Your daughter is going to be thrilled with this ultra cute top!
Thank you!
This pattern definitely needs to be displayed on the body rather than on a hanger or dressform! It is really cute, great job as usual!!!!
I thought so too! Thank you.

Thank you! I am a PDF convert! There are some great independent pattern companies out there.
Stacy, the top is beautiful! It looks great on you.❤❤❤
Thank you, friend!
That turned out great! A nice white linen shirt! 😍 You should make yourself something with the rest! 😃
Thank you! I want to make something for myself out of the rest. I just have to decide on the pattern.
Hi 👋 thanks for sharing 🎉 have a nice day ❣️
Thank you, you too!

I'm looking up that pattern now! Sewing is full of choices. I love that you found something to take to your project. 🧵
Hi Stacy I love this too. It looks like the top for Simplicity 9952 except it buttons down the front.

Such a cute top
Thank you!
Awesome make!!! 💕💕💕
Do you remember where you got that beautiful linen?
Thank you! I think the fabric was from Fabric.com which is no more. They merged with Amazon.

Very cute shirt and awesome attention to detail. It turned out great. Question - do you ever use sew in interfacing rather than iron on?
