I’m thinking of switching to this cleanser, but I have one small concern about doing so as I was looking at the ingredient list and I noticed that it contains salicylic acid. I assume that it only contains a small percentage since it is not advertised as a salicylic acid cleanser, but I wanted to ask if it would be safe to use this with salicylic acid exfoliants, particularly that Paula’s choice skin perfecting 2% BHA Liquid exfoliant. I’m asking because I’ve heard that it can be quite harsh on the skin to use 2 products that contain salicylic acid, but this cleanser has such a small amount that I’m not sure if it’ll even have any negative effects if I use an exfoliant after cleansing.
Do you think that this cleanser is similar/comparable to the Vanicream Cleanser? I have been eyeing on this new cleanser. Btw, great video and always looking beautiful!! 🌻🌵💛
Hello, The Vanicream cleanser does not foam and has a very different texture. I think you can't compare them. It's similar to the CeraVe hydrating cleanser. Also, this cleanser removes the makeup very well. I will upload another demonstration later today to show how it removes the makeup. 😀

Between this and Neutrogena hydro boost water gel cleanser which one can remove waterproof sunscreen? I only use sunscreen. So, I wasn't sure if I need to double cleanse (which I don't like to do twice haha 😂).
Hmm, it depends largely on the sunscreen's formulation. However, if you want to ensure proper removal, use something like G&G Mighty Cleansing Balm or Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm. Essentially, a good balm cleanser. They also rinse off cleanly from the skin, so you don't need to follow up with another cleanser.
What if I wear makeup & sunscreen? I heard this cleanser doesn’t fully remove makeup which can cause breakouts. So should I remove my makeup with a micellar water first and then cleanse?
Yes, that's correct. So that's one way on how to do it. But if you are looking for a great cleanser that breaks down everything. Use The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser.
Hey! :) I prefer to rub any cleanser between my hands before massaging it over my face and neck. However, if you want to use it immediately on your face - that's fine. In this case, it will foam up anyway when doing so.

I’m concerned; as I bought it fm a local agent; I wonder whether they store these products in the right temperatures. I hv normal/dry skin ; & this product makes my skin drier.. ;)
It is not an issue. Sometimes the acids are just in the formulations to adjust the pH-so there is no need to worry. However, if the cleanser is advertised as SA cleanser, I recommend not using it.

Correct, this isn't an exfoliating acid cleanser, therefore you can use this cleanser with PC 2% BHA.

That's not an issue, as the amount is very small and it does not have any significant effect on your skin.

No, it smells a little, but I wouldn't say "plasticky", So definitely not strong. But if it is too drying go with another one :)
