This was fantastic!! The raisins were a delicious addition and I'm glad I didn't skip them. The cashews at the end were crunchy and brought variety to the textures. I'm so impressed!
You are saving my life with these recipes you’ve been sharing lately! They look approachable and soooo delicious! Im a SAHM of 2 under 2 going back to work so as you’d imagine meal plan/prep is vital. Many thanks to you!!
I made this dish and roasted my chickpeas to make them crispy for a bit of texture difference- delicious!! thank you for helping me plan my meals every week haha
Will make this soon will put in blender to make it so i can eat😢i know you're probably tired of me talking about my soft diet but im even more tired of eating it but it is what it is ,you have really helped me with my options just have to make things softer hopefully I'll be able to eat regular food soon😢thanks for listening to me complain ☺️ 😢have a nice day❤😊
You stop! I will never get tired our hear about you and how you are living. I never read it as complaining. It doesn't come across that way. I see it as an update... from a family member 🤗. You what! How about we meet again here, next week, same time? ❤️
The way you "cut/deseeded" that bell pepper is a skill I have been trying to get right, but darn it I screw it up every time lol. :D Great recipe! Also I love how you have stared faking us out with Baby Whisk. Such a sneaky whisk... P.S. I really love your hair! Show it off more often Andrew :D
I learned to really love cooking through watching your videos, so excited to try this next. I cook your recipes almost weekly ! I deeply appreciate & enjoy your content 🙏🏾
took me a while to warm up to raisins in food. i still think you need to be really selective if and when they should be added. but when you get it right... it just works! 🤌🏾
Dutch Oven...!? Can we talk kitchen essentials? 1) A great, heavy bottom frying pan with a lid that can go from stove top to oven. 2) A large baking sheet. 3) DUTCH OVEN! I have my Grandmothers old, silver, 5 quart Magnalite! I can roast in it, stew in it. bake in it, simmer stuff for HOURS in it! IT'S A KITCHEN WORKHORSE! AND... It's 88 years old. That thing doesn't miss a beat! And to think that they're selling for $150 on the interwebs! It hangs out in the cupboard next to my moms Tupperware when not in use. While the meals I make in it are different than my Grandmothers, the sentiment is the same. Make great food with the tools we have, the food we have access to, that will nourish and feed the people we love. The number of meals shared around a family table created in or served out of that dutch oven are countless. Man... I took those meals for granted. A simple reminder that the love and guidance of my ancestors is never far. Keep up the great work and thanks for the memories! PEEEEEEEEEEAACCCCCCCCCE! Stay amazing!
here I was thinking i was the only one passionate about dutch ovens! I need to print this out! my new dutch oven script for those who dont understand the physical and sentimental value of such GOLD!
You're so welcome! This YT community/family here is amazing. Even if you are just trying out meals and not completely going vegan they are very supportive!
Can you make a moi moi recipe? A lot of videos I've seen either use boiled egg, crawfish, and/or corned beef. Also, a collard greens recipe would be highly appreciated.
Dried barberry is a nice alternative to the golden raisins, and one of highest antioxident berries out there. Plus they are a bright red making a nice colour pop in the food.
Where did you have the pineapple fried rice? We just wrapped up Center City Restaurant Week here in Philly. We wanted to go to Veda, but didn't make it (yet!) Thanks for another great video 🎉
I’m confused with this channel. Every thumbnail has this guy with a shining smile who looks so happy, but yet I’ve not seen him in any of the videos! Are they all just an overhead view of his hand preparing the meal?
Bruh called it Biryani so that most people will be interested in watching the video. Bruh pleaseeeeee don't do it again. It is still a good recipe & I make something similar quite often it does tastes good.
What do you think about this vegetable biryani?
As a fan of biryani, I'm thrilled.
Looks good! I have all the ingredients, so I'm going to make it soon! Thanks!
Looks delicious 😋 and easy to make😊
Looks delicious 😊
You had me at tumeric. I might add cauliflower
Have I thanked you lately for your consistent contribution to my weekly menu planning?
Mine, too!
🤗 Every time you watch, every time you like, every time you comment and every time you believe in good ❤️

I really like yiur bird's eye view video technique. It demonstrates your prep techniques slowly enough to learn from them. And i LOVE ❤ the recipes!
I love how your dishes are packed with flavor while having excellent nutritional benefits. Amazing! I enjoy the discussions at the end :)
I’ve never had this dish and I’m so curious! It looks delicious. Raisins and even halved grapes are quite delicious in savory dishes.

Really looking forward to trying this base recipe. Looks so damn good! Also, I just realized I have been pronouncing Biryani wrong for years, now.
🙌🏾 😂 I find such humility out of discovering I pronounced thing wrong.
I am now curious about your pronunciation.
@@d.rabbitwhite oh I missed this. I basically switched the first I and R in my head.
The baby whisk hiding behind the bowl of rice…genius!
Looks good!!
It's a hit

PS - Garlic rock - changed my garlic prep work for the good...which we believe in.
im intrigued! i gotta try them!
I get them at Persian food stores @thenarddogcooks
Where did you have the pineapple fried rice? We just wrapped up Center City Restaurant Week here in Philly. We wanted to go to Veda, but didn't make it (yet!)
Thanks for another great video 🎉
I believe the spot was called "Unit Su Vege". I just looked up Veda, looks like a spot to add to my list! Thanks for sharing with me! 🙏🏾❤️

don't get me wrong: I love the recipes and I adore your channel, but the mini whisk.. I'm so invested in the mini whisk. It gets me every time 🤭
And I always got you good
When did you add the coconut cream? I added as a thickerner inbetween boiling the rice.... Though not tried yet
What about the coconut cream??? When should I added? Thanks
Now...about a recipe for that bread pudding...
the man
We don’t add stock to biryani but im sure it adds a nice flavour nonetheless ❤️
Where did you put on the coconut cream
It must have been when the camera died. In the recipe at his website, it says to add it with the veggie stock.
Yes! what @blairbabylon said. my apologies!
thank you!! ❤️
Biryani should have yogurt! Using a vegan yogurt to marinate the veggies creates a a carrier for the spices and also moisture.
I’m confused with this channel. Every thumbnail has this guy with a shining smile who looks so happy, but yet I’ve not seen him in any of the videos! Are they all just an overhead view of his hand preparing the meal?

I didn't see the coconut cream being added, so I ate it separately with a spoon.
Love your show but biryani -> white basmati rice. There is no alternative to it
He's not a real vegan y'all.
