I can tell that click track is hampering you from really getting into a natural groove. The best foot-tapping music is human. I would love to hear you play this without a click track. I think it would sound much better. Computer clock's don't feel music.

cool... but I'm really curious about why you don't use edrums instead... When you are playing, what do you hear, the acoustic sound or the processed sound? cheers

Good question. One thing is that I love the nuanced sound of acoustic cymbals and also the acoustic drums are recorded with microphones at the same time so they add a lot to the sound. Nowadays I use a mesh head kit with acoustic cymbals though which is also a great combination imo
