13:46 Actually, Calvin, Prince of Egypt is the movie that made Dreamworks big. Shrek came out at a time when Dreamworks was already pretty well known as a studio, but Shrek is probably more well-known than Prince of Egypt today because it managed to tap into the cultural zeitgeist, and satirize pop culture and fairytales in a timeless manner that hadn't been seen before in an animated movie.

oh my god this will be epic, thank you Eric for not watching Shrek before
I play Shrek on the Shrek Broadway National Tour. And I say yall should definitely continue the franchise.
You guys have always been a favorite channel 💚
haha eric actually caught the mama bear stuff
24:45 that reaction will always get me
He’s like “hahaha a.. guahh..?”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
“Where’s momma bear?“ 💀
So great EVERYTIME! The humor is so dark, clever, and on the edge - just awesome for adults to enjoy and kids as well who don't get the many innuendos.
Shrek 2 is awesome! You NEED it too!
I lived for those surprise moments. RIP Mama Bear; we totally did not catch that the first watch and reacted the same as you, lol.
The second one is my favourite outta the 4 I think its better than this one you'll see why eric:)
