Finally had a chance to watch this demo with headphones and really enjoyed it! This pedal seemed intimidating and still does a bit, but I'll be keeping an eye on it on the used market in a year or two!
Wow so many options on this Chroma Console, interesting and thorough run through. I thought 5 knobs on my Pod GO Express was a lot. But 8? Console indeed!
hey there, just wanna chime in - Squash adds a lot of compression and thereby gain compensation which can exacerbate existing noise in your setup. the same could be said for most of the character effects. distortion, drive, etc = lots of gain being added to the signal. however, if you want to troubleshoot any further I would encourage you to reach out to our tech support on our website. cheers!
@HologramElectronics hi guys, thanks for getting in touch. Squash and the whole Character module have a lot of ground noise even, when there's nothing plugged into the pedal
well it looks cool, i don't think it is very easy to use when you're standing in front of the audience, there are a few pedals that most guitarist need anyway...a good chorus, delay, overdrive and volume pedal. I'd rather save up some and buy it all separately because im not really impressed by this box.....
bought it, didn't like it a bit and sold it immediately. whole hype about this pedal is nonsense. people just talking to fit the commonsense and nothing more...it's not good at anything it does.
@ i just want to criticize the hype (and blaming myself at the first place) This pedal is a typical Jack of All Trades but if you look at the hype that we (as a community) created, this is a super duper game changer unit!
@@emrekoz I mean, there was definitely a lot of hype, but I think it's warranted. Hologram only releases a new product every few years, and it's clear that they always put a lot of thought into them.
@ ok, if you say so. But in my book, it’s not a useful delay nor reverb, not good at modulation effects and saturation too. As a guitar player chroma has no use on my board.
Came for the pedal demos, stayed for the compliments at the start of the videos.
A lot of these sounds give me modest mouse vibes. They are one of my favorite bands of all time so that’s a huge compliment.
That's a lot of good effects for the money; more importantly, the controls look very intuitive.

Great demo, thank you
Love my Chroma Console, it has so many good sounds!
The best pedal of 2024!
It has some very interesting and usable sounds. Love the colored LED menu matching! Wish it had MIDI control, though. Thanks!
It has midi control!
I love mine!
I bought a Morningstar MC3 just to swap presets on the the ChromaConsole. It makes so many sounds!
That’s rad
yu^p! I hope Hologram still ships to Europe. Want this one since it came out!
Hello.
Wonderful videos. Can you please demo this a little with bass guitar?
Yes, please!
sold
Great video! What brand is that purple cable?
They're SORRY cables! Highly recommend!
Nice demo. Actually demo of the pedal and not some one tying to show off on the guitar (and usually failing by playing tired old licks over and over).
Mine is super noisy. Squash is unusable because of how much ground noise there is.

Yes. Can you just tell us here how to set up squash and character module so that it’s not so loud?

is it a raspberry pi inside?
Haven't heard anyone mention raspberry pi in forever.
@GetOffset 😰😰

What were you hoping to get from it that you weren't able to?
