Yeah, it was crazy. I played both games to near 100% completion. Ragnarok was a masterpiece, but never once did it have anything to do with the soundtrack. The one amazing, memorable track in Ragnarok was Blood Upon the Snow, and that literally doesn't play until the postgame credits. It was a slap to the face of the time and effort that went into this track. Though there's always going to be a massive western bias in that award show.

This song is truly a song that symbolizes the final chapter of the Xenoblade series. It explodes the thoughts that have been handed down from the first generation.
Shulk cut open, and Noah passed the baton connected by Rex to the future. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was a story about creating the future.

@@demondays3956 In the instant Origin activated the souls stored inside had an unconscious doubt that Origin would be able to preserve the worlds, so that idea hesitation manifested and took control of Origin, stopping time at the moment of the collision. Z was basically created by accident with the goal to delay the "possible" destruction of the pocket dimensions that housed the first two games in the series.
The conduit is exactly as stated: a meta-universe manifold that can be harnessed as an infinite energy supply. It is probably the Zohar form Xenosaga (they have the same shape and use) since we now know the series are connected.

There's a couple sense where I could see having this, though to be fair to said scenes in 3, the music choices they went with weren't bad by any means and very fitting. First one that comes to mind is a moment in either chapter 5 or 6. But the music choice they used was perfect so I can see why they didn't

@@Tsukiru I mean....the song is called "Counterattack" for a reason it literally played during Rex & company's Counterattack sequences
If it didn't land I assume you missed the point of the awakenings since they are "a Counterattack" after being presumably down. Imo they landed you just gotta realize they scenario

had the same thought initially - the piano motif is so similar, and I was mentally singing the words of edge of dawn for a moment there
not that this song isn't sick (it is the whole OST is) but it's a fun similarity

Well, they had the same director: Genki Yokota.
He loves to carry over themes and music styles between his projects.
