Hunter Persona Web Tier List - Identity V

- A long time ago, I made a tier list ranking every single survivor Talent in the game. While there may be a few Talents I would move around today, I'm actually really happy with all the placements I made. Since then, however, I've yet to do the same with the Hunter Persona Web. While I am by no means a Hunter main, that doesn't mean I don't play a lot of Hunter to gather some valuable info on all the Talent. So to fix my mistake, we will be covering every single Hunter Talent in the game and ranking them from worst to best. I know Puppeteer is releasing soon and all, but he can wait for a bit, this is important. So, without further ado, let's analyze the web and see what is trash and what is not

11:30 I mean... on a hunter that can constantly stun (Phillipe, ann, TWB, and many more) it can for some reason come in clutch with crossing the halfway point or getting a terror shock off
43:17 I'm that idiot sometimes (well happens mostly because all the nearest cyphers are where the kiter is and already occupied and for the rest of the scenarios, I'm just lazy). In any case good list, I agree with about everything in here. I actually really like the hunter persona tree as even when I play survivors mainly, I understand and interact with it more than the survivor persona tree.
Claustrophobia is pretty good for duo hunters

I have got to disagree with claustrophobia and control freak, i do think they are low tier but not useless at all just niche, personally i love claustrophobia on late game teleport heavy hunters like clerk or undead to use it effectively during the match i constantly switch who is on the chair not really caring if they get saved as they are both good at applying pressure. (And to survivors they see this as a win but my focus isnt tunneling) When i bring it i usually try to have 2 or 3 survivors dead on chair teleport ready and abilties all charged and most survivor items wasted (claustrophobia also relies on survivor team comp) it can make what to survivors seem like a winning match an easy 3 or 4k from the sheer pressure as those 20 seconds last a LONG time in endgame.
As for control freak when it comes to chair camp heavy hunters (ann clerk sculptor leo) its about the pressure of saving before half that control freak really comes into play (tbh sometimes even not camp heavy characters as it messes with survivors chair time timing in their head) the only time i dont bring it but i want to is if there is a first officer. Those 2 seconds feel like they dont mean much but it really does when survivors are trying to save right before it hits half and they miss it because they didnt take into account control freak. The only negative is you have to take all 3 levels of control freak or else it doesnt apply enough pressure to be worth the points as the 3% + 6% is pitiful its also more useful on big maps + peepers if you have time to setup
Edit: i forgot to add my extremely niche build but control freak + listen on a big map? It does require a bit of an eariler down and With no merc but you make the rescuer have to choose between letting their position be know and with wither + berseker can be lethal or walk and let that chair time fill up almost garanteeing it hits half before they can save i love this on clerk but its super niche and so many survivors counter it 😔
I do understand that Claustrophobia and Control Freak have their potential uses and niches in the match, which is why I even say in Claustrophobia's section that just because it's bottom tier doesn't mean it's useless. I'm really happy to hear you can find a few niche situations with these Talents that can make them good. It's just I don't see much potential in both Claustrophobia and Control Freak helping in all your matches and all your Hunters, which ultimately is why I rank it so much lower than the other Talents
@@jestergio9961 you know what after rewatching and seeing how you made the tierlist i 100% agree with you their bottom c tier.... how is hunt above them though 😭? I swear besides dream witch i dont think hunt ever realistically procs even with the full 15 points you need to put in it
@danielorlovaquinn You'd be surprised about the amount of Hunters I've seen who've used Hunt while their abilities were on cooldown and gain good value off it. It also helps Hunters like Mad Eyes or Joseph whose hunts are a little lacking and Hunters with long cooldowns between abilities like Ripper and BQ. Just today, I saw a Gamekeeper with Hunt on. That said, it's at the bottom of B, meaning that you can honestly swap it out with stuff at high C and I wouldn't complain. Really underrated Talent for a lot of the roster, but not a priority Talent like the others on the list
@@jestergio9961 honestly im going to use it more often, i guess the hunters i typically play have more spammy abilities (ann clerk sculptor ect) or lower cooldowns. God knows i cant play bq or ripper so hunt is low for me 😔
@@danielorlovaquinn It's fine if you don't use Hunt in your builds, as it's not a very high priority Talent compared to stuff like Impulsive or Desperate Fight, and it definitely wouldn't work on the Hunters you play since they're actively in their powers. Still, can't really call it bad
In my opinion, claustrophobia is good slightly for Percy main player
