Regarding the Mustang owners not being able to get their kid out when the door locks and latches failed, how is it legal there not be a mechanical override for such a critical function in case the electronics fail? I’ll accept the tiny amount of drag that result from door handles that are accessible 100% of the time (don’t need motors to push them out) and at least one lock cylinder for a physical key. It allowed us to easily get in and open the hood when my daughter’s Kia drained its 12V accessory battery.

C'mon. Polestar 3 didn't win the range test. It won the nonsense competition "who will have the lowest difference compared to WLTP range". The thing is WLTP is measured in 23°C and all cars have very similar consumption for heating. So it only depends on what is the WLTP vehicle consumption vs the consumption for heating at a given speed. If the heating consumes 1,5 kW and you drive at avg. 70 km/h, the consumption per 100 km is approx 2,1 kWh. So a car with WLTP consumption of 10,7 kWh/100 km suddenly has 12,8 and the range is lower by -17% just because of heating. A car with WLTP consumption 19,4 kWh/100 km rises to 21,5 kWh/100 km with heating. That lowers the range by 10%. What a wonder that this high-consuming cars are not hit by heating as much as the efficient ones. Also the China-made cars usually lie when it comes to heating temperature - when you set 21°C in a Tesla or a European-made vehicle you will feel much warmer compared to China-made ones. That gives them another advantage in these winter competitions. I would expect more context in that from you rather than.just reading that as a fact.
Actually one small correction - Polestar 3 really won the range test by making 531 km. But Tesla was not last at all. Even in that stupid metric of ration to WLTP range, where Polestar won too. In there, Tesla was at no. 21 of 24. But considering range, it was first too, because it made exactly the same 531 km as the Polestar did.

Ahh the hatred toward Elon on this channel is comical. Next Year i want to built a car with a 1km battery range so when it doesn't even move, it would win the El Prix since total difference betwen WLTP and actual would only be 1 km. No mention that the tesla still drove 531km tied with the Polestar for the most distance travelled and that percentage wise comparing WLTP to actual it wasn't the worst vehicle,, i love how stats can be manipulated to frame your narrative and get the jabs in there on Elon and Tesla :)
Exactly. I was just about to go and look up the results of the Norway test to find out the reality. Thanks for saving me the trouble. Very unfortunate and makes we want to go elsewhere. I used to really enjoy watching but these days you can feel the real h8tred coming through in the way reporting subtly leaves out anything remotely positive about Təslá. If only they could find it in their hearts to go back to reporting the news fairly instead of reporting the narrative they want to push. This isn't the kind of journalism I want to support any more.
The ranking is based on how many percentage of WLTP range that is achieved, thus your proposed 0 km out of 1 km WLTP car would still score the lowest. TM3 has the largest gap in km for actual vs WLTP (partly due to having a long range in the first place), but it did not come last as Peugeot E-3008, Voyah Dream and Peugeot E-5008 all had larger percentage wise gaps. You although have a point, as the TM3 is already so energy frugal that any additional consumption from heating etc makes a bigger hit percentage wise reduction in range. The extreme opposite are fossil cars which are so energy inefficient, and have lots of waste heat, resulting in very small changes in consumption/range from cold weather alone.
@@Orbit353 I agree by percentage, but they reported Tesla was last. Either they didn't read the results which does specify those models you mentioned as the worst but they chose to use total kilometer difference in their video. Which based on how they reported this, my car would win.

As a woke African American Democrat I disagree with many of Musk's political stances, actions, and social media shenanigans. The new Model Y also looks kinda like a goofy Hyundai to me. Still, I plan to get the new Model Y Long Range AWD with AI5 for my family in December because of its safety, utility, reliability, product maturity, charging availability, repairability, driver assistance features, software, and value for money. I'm also glad to see a growing number of viable US EV competitors. I hope Rivian progresses to scale and profitability so we can see a massive rollout of R2 and R3.
I’m hoping for more manufacturers that produce an economical smaller car, and not be based in an authoritarian country.😊
Musk has always said that all fossil fuel credits should also be eliminated. He wants to level the playing field. You know that Nikki.
Elon wants what makes him money and buys him influence. He cares about power. Nothing else.
As for leveling the playing field? he’s against equity….
@@transportevolved he's against what? Elaborate, please.
@@transportevolved Extreme politicization is a road to nowhere.
Musk is against equity programs and creating an “even playing field”
Calling Elon out is not extreme politicization. He’s supporting actual Nazis in Europe. He’s supported racists and welcomed Nazis onto his platform. He’s continued to spread misinformation. He’s not the Messiah. He’s not even a naughty boy. He’s a liar who wants ultimate control.
BTW, there's a movement on Blue Sky to do something other than watching "the funeral of democracy" that is the inauguration of FOTUS.
There’s a thing on our channel premiering at 9am pacific time;)
Ahh the hatred toward Elon on this channel is comical.
Musk is a lying con man and you're an easy mark.
Which based on how they reported this, my car would win.
we want pictures, pictures of spider-man
Telo truck is a wild dream. Borderline scam
They have plenty of money behind them and a good business plan! I would have to say you are full of BULL!
@ they have a scheme contrived to cyphen money off investors right now. I deep dove into their current tech.
The preaching is getting tiresome.
You don't need to watch. You can get TH-cam to hide the channel. No one is keeping you watching. There are many other channels.
Preaching about what?
What's this about preaching, preacher?
Tesla's supplier? What happened to vertical integration that Henry Ford invented 100 years ago and Musk takes credit for.
Why do you guys talk about u.s., china, E.U. And Global ev sales, plus manny car companies but didn’t mention tesla that sells the most ev’s at all?? Just be neutral at delivering the News please
We discussed tesla sales LAST week.
If only there were a place you could get information about Tesla. Or maybe a channel where rabid fans could chat
Nothing is neutral, Tesla isn't neutral. If you don't engage in politics then politics gets to ruin your life without your say.
I still support the group COYOTE with a wide ed scope.
COME OFF YOUR OLD TIRED ETHICS
The Time Has Come 2 Show People NOBODY IS NOBODY!
Take yer meds
Please stop the politics. I've enjoyed your show for years, but as of late I'm rethinking this subscription choice.
Exactly what was political today?
Honest question : when was this channel not political? I applaud and support this channel's views on the world. Because if you didn't know...everything is political. Sometimes the channel is less political, but when you watch all their content it's at the correct level of politics without being zealots.
Toyota really sticking the bootin !! As their Death Cult continues profit before any thing ,in lock step with next Administration!!?? ❤ the show, from across the pond take care
