I bought the M16 Plus after my last hitbox messed up mid tournament and I honestly never looked back. For anyone that wants this to work on PS5 with no input lag you can buy the Mayflash MagicBoots adapter or the Haute42 Booter5 adapter which I have and use for tournaments (They always use PS5s). I'm definitely going to change my DI to that extra button, thanks for the tip Mikey!
I use the F500 flat by mayflash I enjoy it and it has a big box cabinet like a stick. Haute has good products tho my friends has the compact and t16 and love them
I recently got the R16. I'm gonna try DI on the left pinky. Haven't had much chance to try it yet but I think with some adjustments it might be the most optimal.
@@mele1024 yeah I think it isn't that important exactly which button the DI is, as long as it's something you can press with no hesitation/travel time. The left thumb is easy for me cause I often jump with my right them anyway so I'm used to my left thumb hovering there
I have the clear Haute but a button sticks. Waited too long to return it. Aaaanyway I also have a custom build I'm more likely to use regardless. But I've been thinking if how useful the right thumb button is on mine. I honestly think I'd want 2 thumb buttons for my right hand and possible left as well. Maybe instead of the button above the lights. Just trying to figure out my ideal for the future. Good vid as always.
@@jpVari yeah making a custom stick with buttons wherever is the most comfortable seems like the most optimal play. I like having one beside my left thumb because I'm already used to moving my thumb there when I jump with my right hand sometimes haha
I have a Haute controller and I like it a lot. A Mayflash Magic Boots can be used for PS4/5 Compatibility. However, you can also just plug a PS4/5 controller into the side of the Hatue. It will use the controller to authenticate, and then you're good.
@@ciaosonoAlbertoG i didn't change the default for the controller. Out of the box it was already the way I was used to for most games. I only changed it in game for SF6 to make HP+HK (drive impact) the L3 button

Thanks for the tip! Definitely need to check out getting an adapter if I need to play on PS5.
I play keyboard and I have the "N" button for my right thumb just to do drive impact. Very useful. It's now a stable for other fighting games as well

Haute controllers are great if you want to switch to leverless. I'm happy with my S16 (but I don't use 2 extra buttons at the top tho).

Awww thank you
Can i ask you how you mapped each button on the online button mapper? Like, what input did you put for each button?

@@MikeyDLuffy oh yeah, but out of the box not all of the buttons are mapped right?

Too bad it doesn't work on the xbox
@@fabioflavio2674 oh damn, didn't know that
The XBOX is basically irrelevant to the FGC anyway.
Having those extra buttons is just excessive...I got one extra button on my flatbox but I never use it. All you need is 12 buttons, that's it.
