My thoughts so far is they may be the best packs I have ever seen :) I haven’t had a chance to use mine yet other than to put weight on it and try it on but it felt really really good on. We will see :)
I’m curious about how the 45l packs down if not fully loaded…Wondering if I could get away with one pack for both quick fastpacking and more traditional ultralight multi days…the biggest distance series pack is a bit small for me. But 30l is somewhat limiting for 3-4 days 🤷🏼♂️
Just received my 45 with the satellite bag today. Well constructed and up to par compared to my other UL packs. Wearing it with partial pack and it does feel good. Time will only tell when I full pack it down. Two things I wish they could improve are 1) shoulders straps foam are way too thin, I think once its loaded and on long day hikes, the foam wont be enough and shoulders will be hurting. 2) Hip pockets are weird shape, like triangular and bit small-need to be simple, rectangular and larger to fit an ave size phone more easily. Also, not sure of their torso sizing. My torso length is 19.75 and I ordered L, it feels the pack is too long. Bottom of pack sitting right above my tail bone. Might have to try a medium. Will do a trip soon and fully test it out.
@@BM-cj7hr I am 18.5 and chose a med and it’s perfect. Remember when loaded sometimes a larger pack is nicer to keep the weight on the hips and above the shoulders but you may have needed a medium yes. My hubby is the same size as you and I think a medium would be good for him. I will put it on him and take a look.
