I always question my boyfriend about Islam and he never used to answer my questions in depth but the more I dig into research I think this is because he wants me to find out about Islam myself because he doesn’t want me doing it for him. I converted, got a divorce found the love of my life...it wasnt totally halal so we planned to marry and alhumdulillah we did 2 weeks after my divorce went through.

The more and more conversion/reversion videos and other videos about the teachings of Islam I watch, the more and more I see how similar my situation is to theirs and how Islam is the religion I need to follow. oh honey that's what god wants he wants to reward us but want the relationship to be based on love .and yes it's a heaven for being close to god and feeling his love .you know that you can go closer to god by saying zekr subhana allah allahu akbar alhamdulellah and asta3faro allah all that make you closer to him to reach the state of the hadith of the prophet muhammed ''allah the exalted has said i will declare war against him who shows hostility to pious worshipper of mine .and the most beloved thing with which my slave comes nearer to me is what i have enjoined upon him .and my slave keeps on coming closer to me through performing the nawafil till i love him .when i love him i become his hearing with which he hears ,his seeing with which he sees ,his hands with which he strikes ,and his legs with which he walks ,and if he asks something from me ,i give him and if he asks my protection (refuge)i protect him ''. so thats what the person will feel when he gets that close .

Its by no means an easy thing to do. I can't begin to Imagine what you're going through. But only through work and struggle can we reach truth. My only advice is to Purchase a Quran and read it yourself. The book speaks for itself.

Hello! Your story has moved me so much because I have been looking into Islam for a couple weeks now almost a month. I have been battling with myself about going through with it and not going through with it ( converting) the only reason that is, is because of my family. All of my family are Christian's and they use Christianity from their own "pleasure" I guess; always judging people and their religion, always using Christianity to justify things that are wrong and many many more things. I am 16 years old and I feel deep down in my heart that converting is something that I should do; the world right now and including my family, have caused me to lose faith. Even in God. BUT, Islam is such a beautiful religion, it's all about unity and hope and love and connecting to god in another level, that's what I want. I want to connect with god like never before. When you stated that you were still feeling that emptiness in you after having everything you wanted, I said "wow, this has been me for a couple months now". I have been going through a journey by myself on finding inner happiness, self love, confidence, etc... and I really feel like after everything, this is the last step. But.... I don't know how to tell my family about this. I know they will judge me in any way they can and I'm terrified about it. And also, my family is broke. When I convert, I have no idea how I will be able to buy clothes to cover up and especially now that summer is coming.... so what I'm asking is, for some possible form of advice you can give me or just some words to give me a little more hope and faith to go through with this. I’ve been fascinated with Islam recently and the oneness w/ Allah which is emphasized in the religion. I have a handful of Muslim friends and admire their dedication + their non-hypocrite attitudes. I, myself, have always struggled with belief & religion. I was born into a Protestant Christian home where my mother was much more religious than my father. My dad was raised culturally Maronite (catholic) Christian but was an agnostic/atheist until he was 30. Due to his upbringing, my dad does not talk about God or his beliefs with me, because it makes him uncomfortable, I assume. I want to learn more about the Koran (rather than just reading excerpts and verses taken out of context). But my only worry is that I don’t want to delve into another religion and be plagued by cultural barriers. For example, if I were to convert to Islam, my parents (mom especially) would probably think I was going insane or trying to rebel against her even though I am a young adult. Or even trying to make a “statement” (as I have Arab roots), and trying to fit in with my muslim friends. My grandparents would certainly not look at me the same way, as I would be headed to damnation according to their beliefs. It seems that so many of us are bound by these familial/cultural/social bonds which keep us from exploring other religions. It is sad, but I’d rather keep my life easy & have a good standing relationship w/ my mom than have Islam & to start from scratch with a new religion. 😢

Lovely Name Thanks for the advice, I have one for you too, Convert to Islam and you will feel a lot better. It won't mean you will be renouncing Jesus, he is an exalted prophet in Islam. But he is NOT son of God. All miracles attributed to him and his birth from Virgin Mary is a major Miracle and the Holy Quran mentions it in great detail. Don't change your belief because of these few lines, but research also if you feel something is missing in your life. Islam is a very tough religion to follow and you will have to give up a lot of stuff, like drinking, eating pork, dressing immodestly etc. But lots of American & European girls in their teens are converting in droves. Take your time, check it out and let me know.

Mychxndxx, unfortunately, the Quran says God does *not* love some groups (III.32, II.276, III.57, IV.36, V.87, VIII.58, VI.141). However, the real God loves unconditionally by definition of God. God, by definition, is the greatest conceivable being. Thus God has the greatest qualities. One such quality is to have unconditional love. Therefore, the real God loves *all* groups. The real God loves you a lot! Please get to know Him. Get to know Jesus.

I am reading the Quran and I feel the presence of God whenever I read it. I want to take the Shahada but my family does not approve. Also I work at a place that does not allow hijab. and my school which is a private school does not approve of hijab. Teagan Grabish sister you can recite yr shahada now in yr room , you don't have to tell anyone and it'a not obligatory to go to a mosque , and if you feel wearing hijab will make you suffer from the people around you then don't wear it until you feel safe and ready , if you really feel that Islam is the right path for you then recite yr shahada as soon as possible coz no one of us guarantee that we are gone live tomorrow

When you're converted, you will be tested, and it will be hard. Some times you win, some times you loose. When you loose, just remember, Allah will love you just the same. If you go back to christianity, Allah will love you just the same as long as you are kind. You have a long road ahead of you. According to Islam, why did Allah throw Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden? Why couldn't Allah just forgiven them? That is why Jesus needs to die for our sins to redeem us.

Adam and Eve were like innocent children who had no knowledge of sex at all, but once the knowledge was passed on to them by Satan, the knowledge stayed in their mind and became part of their being. Although God forgave Adam and Eve when they repented, God had to move them out of paradise because paradise was not meant for procreation. Only earth was, and that was the reason why they were placed on earth.

Firstly, according to the Bible One of the commands given to Adam and Eve, was that they “be fruitful and multiply, and fill the Earth” (Genesis 1:28). [Interestingly, Isaiah would say many years later that God created the Earth “to be inhabited” (Isaiah 45:18).] In other words, Adam and Eve were commanded to reproduce. Now, what is sin? Sin is: (a) doing what God said not to do; or (b) not doing what God said to do. Secondly, according to the Quran. Things are a bit more confusing as always with the Quran. Here the Garden or paradise is not on earth like in the Bible, but somewhere off earth. “‘On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment, for a time.’ He said: ‘Therein you shall live and therein you shall die, and from it you shall be brought out (resurrected).’” (Quran 7:24-25) Question 1 Why did allah made Adam and Eve from soil and clay FROM THE EARTH and then placed them somewhere else in paradise. Quetion 2 When muslims enter paradise it is going to be a splendid event for men having the ability to have sex with many virgins. Why would "forbidden fruit" in paradise be ametaphor for sex (one which got them kicked out of paradise ) but when you Muslims return to paradise, you believe it would then be OK to have sex. It seems like alla just kicked Adam and Eve out of paradise because allah was mean. Not like the DIFFERENT GOD, of the Bible, Yahwee. He is Holy and intended the earth for living. The moon-god-idol intended earth for a punishment. You are still being punished for Adam and Eve's sin here on earth.

Mine were so shocked, but honestly, if they are good christians they will be excepting. Always keep in mind what you really want. There is a chance that things with your family will never be the same. But inshaallah your family will learn from you and love you just the same.

I want to learn more about the teachings of Islam and I am going to go to the mosque near me. Hello! Your story has moved me so much because I have been looking into Islam for a couple weeks now almost a month. I have been battling with myself about going through with it and not going through with it ( converting) the only reason that is, is because of my family. All of my family are Christian's and they use Christianity from their own "pleasure" I guess; always judging people and their religion, always using Christianity to justify things that are wrong and many many more things.
I am 16 years old and I feel deep down in my heart that converting is something that I should do; the world right now and including my family, have caused me to lose faith. Even in God. BUT, Islam is such a beautiful religion, it's all about unity and hope and love and connecting to god in another level, that's what I want. I want to connect with god like never before. When you stated that you were still feeling that emptiness in you after having everything you wanted, I said "wow, this has been me for a couple months now". I have been going through a journey by myself on finding inner happiness, self love, confidence, etc... and I really feel like after everything, this is the last step. But.... I don't know how to tell my family about this. I know they will judge me in any way they can and I'm terrified about it. And also, my family is broke. When I convert, I have no idea how I will be able to buy clothes to cover up and especially now that summer is coming.... so what I'm asking is, for some possible form of advice you can give me or just some words to give me a little more hope and faith to go through with this. I’ve been fascinated with Islam recently and the oneness w/ Allah which is emphasized in the religion. I have a handful of Muslim friends and admire their dedication + their non-hypocrite attitudes. I, myself, have always struggled with belief & religion. I was born into a Protestant Christian home where my mother was much more religious than my father. My dad was raised culturally Maronite (catholic) Christian but was an agnostic/atheist until he was 30. Due to his upbringing, my dad does not talk about God or his beliefs with me, because it makes him uncomfortable, I assume. I want to learn more about the Koran (rather than just reading excerpts and verses taken out of context). But my only worry is that I don’t want to delve into another religion and be plagued by cultural barriers. For example, if I were to convert to Islam, my parents (mom especially) would probably think I was going insane or trying to rebel against her even though I am a young adult. Or even trying to make a “statement” (as I have Arab roots), and trying to fit in with my muslim friends. My grandparents would certainly not look at me the same way, as I would be headed to damnation according to their beliefs. It seems that so many of us are bound by these familial/cultural/social bonds which keep us from exploring other religions. It is sad, but I’d rather keep my life easy & have a good standing relationship w/ my mom than have Islam & to start from scratch with a new religion. 😢

What?! Don't be a hypocrit. Did you ask yourself how it is to be a Christian or Yazidi or ex-muslim in a muslim country then? Lovely Name Thanks for the advice, I have one for you too, Convert to Islam and you will feel a lot better. It won't mean you will be renouncing Jesus, he is an exalted prophet in Islam. But he is NOT son of God. All miracles attributed to him and his birth from Virgin Mary is a major Miracle and the Holy Quran mentions it in great detail. Don't change your belief because of these few lines, but research also if you feel something is missing in your life. Islam is a very tough religion to follow and you will have to give up a lot of stuff, like drinking, eating pork, dressing immodestly etc. But lots of American & European girls in their teens are converting in droves. Take your time, check it out and let me know.

Mychxndxx, unfortunately, the Quran says God does *not* love some groups (III.32, II.276, III.57, IV.36, V.87, VIII.58, VI.141). However, the real God loves unconditionally by definition of God. God, by definition, is the greatest conceivable being. Thus God has the greatest qualities. One such quality is to have unconditional love. Therefore, the real God loves *all* groups.

Thank you for this video. I am 14 and my family is Seventh Day Adventist. I too had been feeling empty and started researching religions mainly Judaism and Islam. I am reading the Quran and I feel the presence of God whenever I read it. I want to take the Shahada but my family does not approve. Also I work at a place that does not allow hijab. and my school which is a private school does not approve of hijab. I don't know what I should do. should I wait until I am 18 to be come a officalconvert or is it right to go through with it now? Teagan Grabish sister you can recite yr shahada now in yr room , you don't have to tell anyone and it'a not obligatory to go to a mosque , and if you feel wearing hijab will make you suffer from the people around you then don't wear it until you feel safe and ready , if you really feel that Islam is the right path for you then recite yr shahada as soon as possible coz no one of us guarantee that we are gone live tomorrow

When you're converted, you will be tested, and it will be hard. Some times you win, some times you loose. When you loose, just remember, Allah will love you just the same. If you go back to christianity, Allah will love you just the same as long as you are kind. You have a long road ahead of you. I wasn't very practicing to Islam before and neglected the religion I was born into for a while, and after a while I fell into depression but after I came back to it I felt an happiness and a freedom I never felt before, I was freed from all the bad habits I used to do and so much weight was off my shoulders

According to Islam, why did Allah throw Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden? Why couldn't Allah just forgiven them?
That is why Jesus needs to die for our sins to redeem us.

Adam and Eve were like innocent children who had no knowledge of sex at all, but once the knowledge was passed on to them by Satan, the knowledge stayed in their mind and became part of their being. Although God forgave Adam and Eve when they repented, God had to move them out of paradise because paradise was not meant for procreation. Only earth was, and that was the reason why they were placed on earth.

Firstly, according to the Bible
One of the commands given to Adam and Eve, was that they “be fruitful and multiply, and fill the Earth” (Genesis 1:28). [Interestingly, Isaiah would say many years later that God created the Earth “to be inhabited” (Isaiah 45:18).] In other words, Adam and Eve were commanded to reproduce.
Now, what is sin? Sin is: (a) doing what God said not to do; or (b) not doing what God said to do.
Secondly, according to the Quran.
Things are a bit more confusing as always with the Quran. Here the Garden or paradise is not on earth like in the Bible, but somewhere off earth.
“‘On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment, for a time.’ He said: ‘Therein you shall live and therein you shall die, and from it you shall be brought out (resurrected).’” (Quran 7:24-25)

Why did allah made Adam and Eve from soil and clay FROM THE EARTH and then placed them somewhere else in paradise.
Quetion 2
When muslims enter paradise it is going to be a splendid event for men having the ability to have sex with many virgins.
Why would "forbidden fruit" in paradise be ametaphor for sex (one which got them kicked out of paradise ) but when you Muslims return to paradise, you believe it would then be OK to have sex. It seems like alla just kicked Adam and Eve out of paradise because allah was mean.
Not like the DIFFERENT GOD, of the Bible, Yahwee. He is Holy and intended the earth for living. The moon-god-idol intended earth for a punishment. You are still being punished for Adam and Eve's sin here on earth.

I reverted 2 year ago and was told to get rid of my dog 5 months back as i was trying to dig deeper and recieve help. I still dont feel right about this one factor reguarding the dog i had foe 5 yr.. bc it was pressed on me before i came to terms w it myself. Sincerity is a huge key .
