- Hello wonderful people! I'm so glad to finally be sharing my journey into Islam with all of you! I hope that my story can be of help to those who are going through a similar process! May Allah (SWT) make this an easy transition for you all!
And for those of you who don't know me, my name is Yariela! I'm a revert from Costa Rica, currently also living in Costa Rica!

Bro/sis remember the most important thing in islam is Tawheed (oneness of Allah in worshipping Allah)
Prioritise Tawheed insha Allah.
I highly recommend you to read Kitaab al Tawheed
It is the book that explains the oneness of Allah.
This book was writing by the great scholar of islam Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Abdulwahaab may Allah have mercy on him Ameen.
He used verses from the Quran regarding Tawheed and explained it in the most beautiful manner.
This book will help you understand the oneness of Allah.

and Allah's names and attributes
This is islam. The other 4 pillars hang on this.

Allah it is He Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them in six Days. Then He Istawa (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). You (mankind) have none, besides Him, as a Wali (protector or helper etc.) OR AN INTERCESSOR. Will you not then remember (or be admonished)? S. 32:4
Lo! your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then He established Himself upon the Throne, directing all things. THERE IS NO INTERCESSOR (WITH HIM) save after His permission. That is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Oh, will ye not remind? S. 10:3

Yes! I recently reverted too, and how you describe waking up grateful each day as you starting really learning is what happened to me and motivated me. It made me become the person I want to be. It took me years down a weird windy path too. Alhamdulliah we found our way and may Allah swt make the way easy. :)

So true, Islam gives soooooooooooooooooooo much peace and note one thing, Christians in comment sections always insult, say blasphemies and stuff like that which devils would do where as Muslims are so polite, speak with the utmost respect and always start their conversations with "peace be upon you" like Angels would do.
@@gbedumallam I'm also a revert too from Canada. I reverted after I got to learn about the history of the Quran, the history of Prophet Muhammad(SAW), the history of his followers and family members. The more I learned about it, I gradually became convinced it's the truth.

My mum is also a Latina revert - for 26 years now alhamdulilah! Take it day by day, we're all still learning and that's the beauty of being muslim and the religion of islam that we can spend all this time to learn and grow and get rewarded for it. Allah is The Most Merciful, any time we turn to Him and ask for forgiveness He will forgive. I know it seems like there's only a few of us South American Muslims out there - but we're here, expanding, and proud!

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said *"Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshiping in the mornings, the afternoons, and during the last hours of the nights"* - Recorded in saheeh al bukhari.

There's actually a really beautiful dua that starts "Allahumma inni a3udhu bika min al hammi wal Hazni" meaning "O Allah indeed I seek safety with you from anxiety and depression". Salam sister! I'm been Muslim my whole life however I did become misguided in my teens. Took a short two years to understand who my creator was and purpose and alhamdulilah! Best decision I have made I now have a husband a little baby! Subhanallah every moment in life is for khair. Regardless of how we started or our set backs our return will always be too Allah. May Allah keep all the Muslims firm on their deen and guide all those deserving of guidance. Ameen

As a person who grow up in an islamic society, seeing people all around the world converting to Islam is a great source of happiness for me. And it also makes me ashamed of my last couple years that I spend on the edge of atheism. But without a doubt, I can say that I am a muslim now and I have never been so proud of it. Ya Allah I have been suffering anxiety and depression paranoia almost over 14 years and Subhanallah if it wasn’t for the blessings of Allah who guided me through his wisdom into reading the Quran and Muslim scholars specially like sheikh abdur Raheem green from uk (may Allah reward him and shower his blessings on him) who inspired me into reading the Quran Subhanallah if it wasn’t for the blessings of Allah I don’t know where I would’ve been lost in life on the streets and wondering blindly or suiciding but Subhanallah the miraculous book the miracle of the Quran (Gods words) a never ending miracle, the Quran a book full of true wisdom and treasures knowledge is truly a light which sparked the dead soul inside of me back to life and help me fight against my dying brain and guaranteed my hopeless soul with blessings and that’s the beauty and the essence of this book which is indeed a miracle without a shadow of a doubt and this Quran is exactly what it claims to be (Gods words) and I say it with my soul on it. 1) Flower doesn't grow in one day, learn Islam little by little, at your own pace, starting from the most important thing: our obligatory salah. Everything else - insya Allah - will put in their place
2) There will be some annoying people - non-Muslims and also Muslims - saying bad words, or push you too much in learning Islam; be polite but don't mind them, have patience and always remembering Allah, consider this as a test from Allah to see how much you really serious in submitting to Him. This is a privilege, not a punishment!

1. And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. 1400 years ago, Quran (51:47) - Recently discovered the continuous expansion of the Universe. The expansion being faster than the Speed of light and a mystery to science makes this sign special.
2. “And you see the mountains, thinking them rigid, while they will pass as the passing of clouds. [It is] the work of Allah, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Acquainted with that which you do”. 27:88. If you read this verse carefully you will learn 2 things: The Quran knows that the earth is rotating. And that the earth is round. On a stationary flat earth module, you don’t have rotation. Reminder: Arabs 1400 years ago didn't have the tools to know this.
3. "Have We not made the earth as a bed, and the mountains as pegs?" (Qur'an, 78:6-7) Newly its been proven that mountains have deep roots to stabilize the earth just like tent pegs, Visually and functionally.
4. "Did the unbelievers not realize? that the heavens and the earth were one solid mass, then We tore them apart, and We made every living being out of water? Will they, then, not believe (that We created all this)? it's the Big bang that disbelieving scientists* talked about in recent times. Undeniable evidence of a divine hand in the Quran***Love this water verse (A man 1400 years ago in the Arabian desert, couldn't make this up). 21:30
5. No! If he does not stop, We will take him by the naseyah (front of the head), a lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)! 96:15-16 -The Qur'an calls the front of a mans Head “lying”. It's recently discovered that the small Prefrontal lobe which is exactly at the front of the head that is responsible for lying and deceptiveness.
6. He has set free the two seas meeting together. There is a barrier between them. They do not transgress. 55:19-20 Not a miracle but a sign of a merciful creator.
- Allah is telling humans that he has put a barrier for us between the 2 kinds of Water, one is salty, one is sweet and palatable. He does these things for us out of mercy, as powerful as he is, he isn't forced to do anything. Just look around at, you will see how submissive He has made everything to humans
7. Or (the unbelievers’ state) is like the darkness in a deep sea. It is covered by waves, above which are waves, above which are clouds. Darkness, one above another. If a man stretches out his hand, he cannot see it. 24:40
- Allah is talking about the newly discovered, deep (Internal) waves of the sea. Deep invisible ones that 1400 years ago only its creator knew of.
Many more are there. I couldn’t count all signs of the Quran here. There are many different things that indicate a divine hand in the Quran.
1. The word "spider" in Arabic is "Ankabout". it is 100% masculine when said so. and you give it the "He" treatment if you don't specify the gender. When Allah mentions the spider house He surprisingly uses "She", ("her house"). Now it's scientifically proven that every spider type on earth (small, big, from Africa, Europe, America, doesn’t matter) Only the female of which builds houses. The same thing with the Honeybee, Allah mentioned 4 TIMES in ONE VERSE “she”/ "her" in the chapter of the “Bee” when He referred to the worker bees, who are discovered recently to be 100% female and the verse following it said it was a miracle, so how is it debatable whether the Quran is from Allah or not?. "Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction." 4:82
2. Iron: There is also an entire chapter in the Quran which is named Iron. This shows how important Iron is to mankind, way more important than gold. it is essential for today’s Industry. God said at the beginning of the chapter: "And We sent down Iron to mankind" So why did God use the word "sent down" rather than one of his favorite words "Created", which was used for almost all created things mentioned (Except the Quran). Because Iron was sent down after the formation of the original earth, from Space in the form of meteorites, so it gets buried underground for us to use when we are advanced enough to mine it and use it, because of that "sent down" is more accurate. Yes, there is no "Up" or "Down" in space but if it falls from the earth's atmosphere to its ground, it's "sent down from the sky."
3. The Quran has many "challenge verses" the most famous is: “And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah (chapter) the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful”. “But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers”. Quranic chapters can be as short as 10 words. No one could ever bring something like the Quran. many have tried and all of them failed miserably.
4. The precision of the Quran is amazing. After a year of research, i found out that the rules in the Quran are reasonable and make perfect sense. No weird, ancient people rules. No Jihad wars. And many of what you know about Islam is probably Arabic tradition and not Gods words (Quran). Fact: only about 20% of Muslims are Arabs. God chose Arabic because it was the most advanced language at that time (Still is and has the most words and complexity). There are very small % of people pure enough to be called true Muslims because true Muslims fear God and abstain from all wrongdoings. Quran chapter 2 verse 8 to 9: 8. "Among the people are those who say, “We believe in God and in the Last Day,” but they are not believers. They seek to deceive God and those who believe, but they deceive none but themselves, though they are not aware."
"We will show them Our Signs in the universe, and in their ownselves, until it becomes manifest to them that this (the Quran) is the truth. Is it not sufficient in regard to your Lord that He is a Witness over all things? "
There Is a Mathematical Miracle in the Quran That Proves It Is the Word of God
"Say: 'If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support.'" (Chapter 17:88)
The number of times the word “Man” is mentioned: 24 times. The number of times the word “Woman” is mentioned: 24 times.
• “Dunia” (one of the Arabic words for ‘life’) is mentioned 115 times, and “Aakhira” (an Arabic word for ‘after life’) is also mentioned 115 times.
• “Malaika” (the Arabic word for angel) is mentioned 88 times, and “Shaytan” (Satan) is mentioned 88 times.
• “Life” is mentioned 145 times. “Death” is mentioned 145 times.
• “People”: 50 times. “Messengers”: 50 times.
• “Corrupt”: 50 times. “Benefit”: 50 times.
• “Iblees” (king of devils): 11 times. “Seek refuge from Iblees”: 11 times.
• “Sadaqah” (spending): 73 times. “Satisfaction”: 73 times.
• “People who are misled”: 17 times. “Dead people”: 17 times.
• “Gold”: 8 times. “Easy life”: 8 times.
• “Zakat” (taxes Muslims pay for the poor): 32 times. “Barakah” (blessings of one’s wealth): 32 times.
• “Mind”: 49 times. “Noor” (light): 49 times.
• “Tongue”: 25 times. “Sermon”: 25 times.
• “Desire”: 8 times. “Fear”: 8 times.
• “Hardship”: 114 times. “Patience”: 114 times.
• “Muhammad”: 4 times. “Sharee’ah” (Muhammad’s teachings): 4 times.
If this is not enough, now please look at the number of times the following words occur:
• ‘Month’: 12 times
• ‘Day’: 365 times!
• ‘Sea’: 32 times. ‘Land’: 13 times. ‘Sea’ + ‘Land’ = 32 + 13 = 45.
% of Sea = 32 / 45 (x100%) = 71.11111111 %
% of Land = 13 / 45 (x100) = 28.88888889 %
Modern science has only recently discovered that the above figures represent the exact proportions of Sea and Land on Earth!
17:15 "Whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul. And whoever errs only errs against it. And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And never would We punish until We sent a messenger."

Hey Yariela, congratulations on your new journey and finding the truth alhamdulilah I’m happy for you. One advice I would give you is that journey is not overnight. No one expects you to take shahada one day and the next day being the best Muslim ever (which is an impossible task which can only be accomplished by the Prophet Muhammad SAW) take it slowly and just increase your knowledge constantly and eventually before you know it you’ll see yourself adapting to the deen easily and understanding why you’re doing certain actions and not just doing it because you just got told to do it. Remember Rome wasn’t built in a day, enjoy your journey and if you ever need advice or people to talk to you got the whole ummah to turn to 🙏❤️
