    Great video. I would add a few things. Check seacocks, check anchor and windless, check life vests/jackets (CO2 if they have any), and for a sailing vessel, check standing rigging, check running rigging and check winches.

    Super way to get the basic back in mind , even after 7000 miles and 2 years nonstop sailing on our catamaran. Watch them all.

    I’m rather surprised the raw water valves are left open while moored.Just an aside,having the switch panel in the starboard stairwell looks to be a potential problematic area,if somebody is carry luggage or some item and accidentally hits that panel whilst underway i can foresee issues in that area.Awesome rundown on start up very interesting,cheers.

    Well, I’d add to ensure that the portholes, hatches, and scuppers are closed.😅

    Why did you not turn on your Auxiliary switch? Do you not have a generator? What does the Auxiliary switch do please?

    • @TMGYachts
      @TMGYachts  ปีที่แล้ว

      @angelaevans3457 the Aux switches are often spare switches the manufacture places in so you can add electrical systems if you wish. For instance, you could add 12V televisions on board or fans, you could then wire up this switch as it's isolator for these.

    No need to close all the hatches and portlights?

    • @TMGYachts
      @TMGYachts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Shang, thanks for pointing this one out. We knew someone would! Because all of these were closed at the time of arriving at the boat we didn't think to mention but I'm glad you did, definitely a good one!
