My mdx key went out on me, and I didn't wanna go to the dealer and pay $110 and wait for 3 hours. Did that once and never again. Your video was easy and helpful, thank you.

Did they crank up the car so the car can run I seen you hit the lock and unlock button but do they crank up the car so you can actually use it to turn the the car and the stay on and running without shutting off. I wanted to see that part. I seen people program keys were in only unlocks the doors but the transponder don't work where it cranks the car up and the car stay running without cutting off.
It did start it and it stays on green transponder light went out shoeing the key is programmed

Sorry but can I ask another question also. Do you have to have a variety of different transponder chips for different vehicles or is there a universal one that can be programmed by the autel im508 for all cars?
They have some universal chips and some already coded chips.

It says all keys lost but you actually still have the keys? Also wondering how you learnt to use the device. Did you go on a training course or use the instruction manual?
Yes I do have the keys but I deleted them and added them back like 2 new keys .
What if I just bought car from auction and it came with no keys do I still need original key?
