Never played Warhammer III but your vids on it are super chill to watch, even for someone who doesn't understand the game it's really easy to follow along when you explain/talk about your strategy. Just wanted to say that you're doing a great job on these videos.

Fort Soll is now under Empire control. The southern border is that much safer now.
One of the things I can always recommend for the Empire is to look into getting the reload buff for your arty/missile units, depending on what you focus early.
one of the big things with the Empire is you will hold the line with Artillery and either gunners or Crossbows. giving them an improved fire rate will mean more shots out against your opponent. now imagine against something that relies on getting in melee, you can get more shots out before they get in.
but another is just giving your infantry more armor. they're going to be getting into melee anyway.
Loving this series so far! I would definitely not rush with the confederations, so I think you made the right call there! Go ahead and declare war on Vlad though - Elspeth will show him what true death looks like!

This game is just becoming more and more interesting! With the new additions to e.g. Empire and Dwarfs, with the Ogre mercenaries, ect etc... just love it.

The dwarfs are returning to the mountains, it's good to see the natural fauna flourishing.
For Tech the artillery stuff is going to be quite handy but I'd just continue concentrating on the basic economic stuff for the moment.
The Knights of the Black Rose have such phenomenal models, they're absolutely stunning.
I'd let Averland fall before declaring war, just let them meat shield a little bit and knockout Vlad after he's taken Averheim.

There was once a prussian elite cavalry regiment the "Totenkopf- Hussaren" (Death Skull Hussars) during 19th century, maybe a good name for those heavy horse.....

i wonder why the public order in your capital so low, in fact, your army take a bit of attrition when heading out into fort soll, is it vampire corruption?

On the Outriders (grenade launchers), I think that you should stick to the normal version because that version can attack air threats and are much better at handling the fast moving units you may encounter. The only time that the grenade launchers may be better is attacking in a siege because the grenades may be able to arc up and over the wall.
I'm thinking of Mt next play through gun powder only. Like no mele really. It might be fun or horrible. No clue.
yes it looks like a BB field would be nice if that was a way of improving releations with other races that you are not at war with by hosting a torniment for them to join
I think you should attack vlads army, conquer the cities to the north and swoop back down southwards

Probably unlikely as I don't really feel they fit a role for my army builds

Do you get a narrative campaign (e.g. prepare for defending Nuln) if you play on Realms of Chaos, or is playing on RoC exactly the same as playing on IE for Elspeth?
Declaring war by attacking Vlad is optimal way, but in next turn he will be joined by other army, so ambush idea seems much better
I was just playing my own Elspeth campaign, and for some reason I didn't have the option to confederate at all D:
It's not that I just didn't have the reputation, but the whole tab was absent for some odd reason
That fort had a weird garrison. Why were Goblins in the first slot? Usually, these tend to be sorted from most expensive to least expensive so that if it doesn't have a hero leading it, the commander of the garrison will at least be the most expensive infantry unit.
Could you teleport toNuln and attack Vlad through there or is the cost to teleport to high?
Cant you offer to join the war and confederate it's close enough to probably push it though? Then you have your ambush plan while gobbling up both of averlands settlement.
I'm surprised that he doesn't have a 2nd army as a defense force so that he doesn't have to retreat von draken.

Can't believe you didn't take the confederation. 3 free cities including a provincial capital. Extra income even if you lost them in a few turns

I assume you know that the confederator does not inherit the wars of the confederatee (but vice versa) so I guess you were only worried to get sucked into a war with Sylvania too early? But I kinda doubt that since their attitude towards you was not nearly as bad as Stirlands was so declaring war on you would have taken more than one or two turns, but that's just my guess.
Skulls (with black roses) make everything look better.
I'm more concerned about getting sucked into wars to the north if I confed Talabeckland.
Knights of the Black Rose severely need a buff to damage or defense, they’re pretty weak at the moment imo
