I don’t care much for the actual deck construction but this game is always a blast. My friend just always builds me a deck and we’ve played a couple campaigns.
Oh, and have you tried the one-off scenario that came out during the Scarlet Keys campaign? I don’t remember the name, but it’s a casino based one that looks like a lot of fun.
