This way you have 3 cards in deck that allow you to find that second articuno compared to 2. So this list prioritizes finding that one earlier with the cost of some more dead draws
You generally want to use a single copy of good cards still you have two of those cards, because their individual probability increases if you have multiple of them. In this case having a second pokeball gives you more chance of consistently getting a second Articuno ex as early as possible.
6:45 My personal conspiracy that I have no proof for is that each coin flip card has its own individual odds for a head flip. I noticed this with mew, when mew copies coin flip attacks, it hits heads way more than the Pokémon it’s copies the move from in my experience. It definitely feels like some cards, like Misty and celebi, hit heads at a much lower rate than they would if we were flipping an actual coin.
I’ve had a similar thought, with Zapdos hitting heads much more than a Celebi. Enemy Zapdos hits me with 3 heads, but my Farfetch’d survives a Celebi 8 coin flip attack because they only hit 1 heads. Literal shock
I think that they make certain rates lower just to balance the cards because if misty really did hit heads half the time it would make the card excessively powerful while still being stupidly random.
@@koko_the_katI agree. I don’t think this is a bad thing, I think this is a way they can balance cards on the back end without having to change the actual effects or card text.
@@kingbanksssthat’s true but we aren’t actually flipping a coin. It’s RNG with a coin flipping animation. It’s like a digital slot machine, you aren’t actually pulling on the slots, your results are determined as soon as you press spin and the slots spinning is just an animation. The same is happening here.
Weird suggestion, but I wonder if a Pokedex would be better than a Red Card. Since you have two Pokeballs, and the second Pokeball merely shuffles the deck, it might be better just to be able to look at the top of your deck. If it's suboptimal, shuffle it.
Try making your coin flips more sporadic. Works for me most the time for the 1st heads. After that youre just at the mercy of the sequence rng. I usually only get the 1 heads so yeh
Very good strategy with the red cards, I don’t use it but I also don’t know how to use it, with my luck I could give him the evo. But you’ll see your curse with misty will break.
I feel so weirded out rn because I legit just fought this deck before watching this video. I won with articuno starmie but imma try this deck out and see if its any good
Hey Xatumi, the 2nd pokeball in this deck makes absolutely no sense: There is 1 basic pokemon in your starter hand everytime (which has to be 1 articuno ex), so there is only 1 basic pokemon left in your deck, so you actually need only 1 pokeball. I enjoy your videos!
15:42 thank you for specifying that they played a Poké ball. I would've not known without your saying so because you over-edited this video in my opinion. You don't need that many jump cuts.
He probably had his community bring meta decks for the video to showcase the deck he created? Doesn’t really matter as long as their obviously not throwing
Tutorial how to use red card:
1. Don't
He says it's the etiquette when he was literally about to BM with the unnecessary misty lol
It feels like they nerfed the side swipe coin flip mechanic/manip, better off just forward flicking HARD
Why the 2 pokeballs? Why not use 1 pokeball and use another leaf? I don't understand the tactics behind it
This was the exact list the player used. Maybe to reshuffle deck, I don’t really get it either

To find the next articuno faster I also have this kind of deck but zapdos for the solo Blastoise event
@@KezoDot did you get that deck from OJ?

Idk bro but all I can say is there's just more odds in general you will flip tails. I wish we could choose if we want heads or tails lol

Our favorite bench warmer keeping icy bird butts warm!
whats the purpose of aerodactyl ex if you don't run fighting energy ? he just evolves and that's it ?
Literally just for his ability that stops your opponent from evolving their Pokemon, tbh it's a win more but when it happens it's very oppressive
also since it's a big body with a single retreat cost you can put it in front to soak damage while you build your second Articuno

Both misty not connecting but still winning most of the matches 😊

Do you need 2 pokeball cards with only 2 basic pokemon and you always get 1? Trying to understand
Higher chance for getting articuno. Why not??
Hi guys do you have the same bug like me that not allow us to use erika?????
I have the same damn experience with misty as well 😅
“Ya I said it” 😂😂😂
misty coinflips are skillissue
that problem you are having with misty ive always had it never seems to hit even 1 heads
you played the same dude back to back with the celebi deck?
Maybe he is his friend

Oh i didn’t even notice. This was casual matches too not private. Guess they wanted that run back.
Nah I’m not a fan of that cuz it feels weird playing against viewers who can actively see your hand during live streams.
so no head?
50-50 my butt 🤣🤣🤣 That how it is with Misty. Thus gotta run 2 to hopefully get 1/4 lolll.
How to lose early Deck xD cause you loose If you got attacked with anything in the bench
This deck blows
Yeah ,good luck getting the 1 aredectail ex card 😂😂😂 when you need it the most....
