I'm addicted. And 900 plus episodes is perfect for that. The panedemic i thank for one thing only, maybe 2 (no crowds) and turning me on to radio again 📻 😊❤

The only animal given a name in the entire bible: "Gladly"... Gladly the cross-eyed bear.

Wow. I've read the New Testament well. Old Testament? Because I never found that part.

@@kimmccabe1422 I had to Google it. Here's what I got:
"The quote "Gladly, the Cross-eyed Bear" is a mondegreen, or misheard line from a song or poem, that comes from the hymn "Gladly, the Cross I'd Bear". The joke goes that a young girl goes to Sunday school for the first time and tells her mother about a song she heard about a cross-eyed bear named Gladly. The mother asks what song it was, and the girl replies, "Gladly, the Cross-eyed Bear". The hymn is about people following in Jesus' footsteps."
As a lifeIong word freak I know all about palindromes, anagrams, spoonerisms, malapropisms, puns etc but "mondegreen" is a new one to me. Now that I know, I'd say my favorite mondegreen is probably "Round John Virgin" from "Silent Night."

@itfahkenichs Sorry, Gladly's not from the Bible: He's from the hymn "Gladly the Cross I'd Bear."

Not me. I'm listening in the dying series of minutes in the days' final six minutes waning their way to midnight at the precarious end of...
    The 16th Of October.

      "The Cross-Eyed Bear"
An eye-catching title ... I have to hear this. Bear with it.
"Some of these piano players are funny guys."
      Fact.

... interestingly the curious Miss Jefferson just made her curiously interesting diary entry on the 12th October, interestingly enough.
