Xiahou Dun whenever he's surrounded: "GET ADDA HIER!!!" (in a very deep voice). I wish the developers added this line in the later games whenever he uses his musou attack.
Like your style of clearing out the whole level. The best DW IMO as you had to fight for every inch, work with your army and had an actual sense of accomplishment for winning a battle. Now the series is more OTT anime characters killing 100 target practice enemies in a single stroke.
I like this games version of He fei over dw3 Version. Cheng Pu and Han dang being used as backups and Wei and wu having a Back and Forth Attacks Between Zhang Liao and Gan Ning and Cao Cao doesn't Just Have to have Wei Retreat because Sun Quan is Near him makes it way better than Dw3 Version even if it's missing the Bridge Version.
DW2-4 were all difficult on the hard/very hard difficulties. This one was the most realistic though. I wish the future games would go back to this. No crazy elemental attacks or moves, fewer enemies on screen but more aggressive, etc. It made you feel like you were in a real battle against other highly skilled officers and their bodyguards.
Not really counting the first game, this is the only DW series game I've actually never played or owned because I never owned a PS2 as a kid. What I actually like is how long these stages last. Plus I love Xiahou Dun's deep answering machine like voice.

I have always found DW3 to be the first true musou game. Got all the essential elements and enough depth, difficulties to make the game sophisticated. DW2 feels like a prototype to me to get investors/company onboard for a proper game.
Dynasty Warriors 2 He Fei Battle( The Stupid Sun Quan Gets too Close to Cao Cao Meaning defeat is not in Dw2 Version) and Battle of Guan Du is Way Better than Dw3 Version especially on Hard Mode as well as Battle of Wu Zhang Plains on Hard Mode too.
This was my first ever warriors game. I was 10 or 11 when I got it. Can't tell you how many times I died trying to beat the first level. I finally succeeded with Guan Yu and he became my favorite character.

Dun looks like a generic officer in this game. No long hair, no eyepatch, and he sounds...gruff here. Yeah, the voice acting here is...um...something. Not DW3 levels of epicness, but...it's kinda there.
DW2. Hmph 😆. Back when you only had the four attacks and the original weapon for each character. 😆 Childhood memories 🤔😁 but then... everything changed after DW3.... I was drawn to the Dynasty Warriors series. ⚔️✊🏾

For DW fans? Probably 6 or a 7. For non-fans, probably a 3 or a 4. I feel I should clarify that when I scale a game, it's a proper scaling. 6 means above average, so I'm saying it's good. None of that "it has to be a 9 or a 10 to be good" BS.
I cant tell what games better 2 or 9. Yes 9 is a mess and if it was made earlier it might of had less back lash, but it is fun if you rather role playing over button mashing. Honestly too me if you play both games how they are meant to be played then they are both a 7 out of 10, bug if you play them in a check list fashon and look at the games foults then 2 would be a 5 out of 10 and 9 would be 3 out of ten simply because 9 does suck if you play it the wrong way.

Huang Gai wasn't Playable in Dynasty Warriors 2.His Dynasty Warriors 3 Beta Character Select portrait is what I think he would have looked like if he was Playable in Dw2.

Not only was this the best DW it was the hardest which made beating it with every character so much more satisfying

DW2 was hard time mang, Koei knew what they were doing.
They also Recover Your Health and Musou so they are in a Way Better than Regular Interim Saves
The levels in this game are so good compared to the ones we get today

DW2 is Warriors at it's most basic form is how I see it. Though DW2 still has the difficulty.

He has a Eyepatch in this game.Also he's as powerful as his Dw3 Version Late Game
Dun also has a Unique English Line when doing his Musoh while Dw3 Version uses Japanese Voice

Dw2 has Better Mount Attacks than Dw3. They do way More Damage

@@Xaldin007 They won't heal any more than they do on normal on hard, but they'll have significantly higher stats and significantly better AI.
