Acorn stew looks good but I've never tried it so the taste would be questionable and take some time to enjoy the recipe as Jojo says. I do have a Dine' pallet and love spicy foods and chilies. I'm positive I will enjoy. Food really looks delicious. Thank you Sue. You guys always get me hungry. I watch when I'm not eating. Next time I will have food present and enjoy watching your vlog. Thank you for your vlogs. As always they are awesome. Keep it going. 👍
Dah goh teeh from San Carlos. Fried bologna is the best. The stew looks awesome. We had acorn dumplings from the gold we won from you guys. FYI, festivities in Bylas this weekend. Be safe God bless.
Thanks for sharing that looks delicious yummy 😋 never tried acorn stew . Next Rez favorite would steam corn stew and in the summer maybe try canning making homemade jams.Just my input.🌰🍜
Dang Warren you took my suggestion Vienna samiches, or fried bologna... Lol....comad grilled cheese and bologna.. And Sue that looks delicious.. Would like to try yours....Have fun, Stay safe.. And Hi Mr Binx and Vadder...
Hi Yazzie's,,,definitely looks good! The only experience with acorns that I've had as the raw butter tasting fresh from the shells. I've heard about some process where they soak for a couple days to lack the bitterness out. I'd definitely like to try this dish,,but no oak trees in this area of Montana. Thanks guys ,,for broadening my horizons! Ttyl,,,Marlon
Sounds interestingly good. I haven’t tried it either so it would take some baby sips to get the full taste 😛 all in all another great video to share. Growing up my mom used to make hamburger gravy for us where we would eat with tortillas or sandwich bread. Guess that could be an option to make if you have tried it before?!
My favorite acorn stew. It been awhile since I ate acorn stew. It is hard for me to get a hold of the ground acorn. Mostly people on the Fort Apache Reservation sell ground acorn and barbeque corn also. The acorn stew looks delicious, I can smell it all the way here in Bylas. Have a great day and safe travels tomorrow as you come to the Mt Turnbull festivities. If I see you guys I will say hello. Have a great evening...
