Honestly that’s really cool! I have Green Day’s Dookie 25th anniversary overdrive pedal I’d love to use that again and this is PERFECT, can’t wait to get the Quad Cortex now!
You made a few extra steps for yourself for checking your capture. Right after you capture it, there is an option to flip between the capture and the reference. Not knocking you in anyway, but this may save you some time in the future. Cheers!
Nice great video! curious, how long did it take to do those captures after pressing "start capture"? Also, was it the same for all of them or did it differ?
Let the input meter on the QC capture process get you to the right level. Ultimately you want a capture output that is even - meaning it will output a signal at about the same volume as it takes in. Then in presets you can adjust the levels as you want.
No, it can't do anything that is time based. So no reverb, delay, modulation, etc. Basically amps, preamps, poweramps, drive pedals. I've seen some folks say that you can capture compression, but I've tried and I'm not convinced.
Will the QC be able to accurately capture a tube driver pedal? A year and something ago, I had BK Butler make a custom version of his Tube Driver pedal for me. I Would like to hear that pedal through the QC. Any thoughts or suggestions?

So I could do this with my whole pedal board that’s awesome did not know that
Yep. That's exactly what I ended up doing. You can only do drive/ boost pedals, though.
@@davlavmusic7070 oh ok so compressors it won’t work then still really cool though

Very good! thank's a lot mate!

I've never timed it, but I would estimate 5-10 minutes to run through the capture process. And it's three same each time, no matter the device.
quick question when capturing pre-amp pedals with output knobs do i Crank the output for the capture or lower it?

Is it able to capture reverb/delay/mod pedals, or even a whole chain of connected pedals?

Does this thing capture other type pedals such as delay, reverb, chorus, etc.?
No, it can't capture anything that is time based. So basically just amps, drives, boosts, etc.

It should work fine. I've seen multiple captures of the Tube Driver on the Cortex Cloud. You should be able to capture yours.

Thanks for the update !
I used a different tube that has more headroom but less gain in my Tube Driver
Hi, is it possible to capture an amp from Tonex 1 in this manner ?
It should be the exact same process.
@@davlavmusic7070 thank you
